As a kid, this program was easy to use. Now, as an adult, it still is! It may take a little to be get used to the hotkeys and the functionality of the program itself, but that's the case for all programs. One of the best things about AutoCAD is its versatility in terms of importing and exporting files. I use quite a few programs while designing and being about to switch from software to software without any issues with exporting or importing is a key component. Cons My dislikes of AutoCAD is that the array of tools provided can sometimes seem convoluted. Every new versions provides more and more tools, which may be great, but it also adds more confusion. As a warning, people should be aware the some of the tools have a steep learning curve. AUTOCAD convient les architectes plus que les géographes, parce que il y a trois volets AUTOCAD 2D, 3D et 3D max. en effet, dans mon cas, j'ai utilisé uniquement le AUTOCAD 2D parce que je fais que la cartographie. Par contre, les autres niveaux 3D et 3D max sont très destinés aux architectes pour réaliser leurs plans. Cons AUTOCAD 2D; comme j'avais dit un logiciel de cartographie permet de dessiner les cartes mais les inconvénients de ce logiciel qu'il fait pas le traitement , le stockage des données comme d'autres logiciels d'informations géographiques. je trouve que AUTOCAD convient beaucoup plus les architectes que les géographes Review Source ZZ Zahra Z. I have been using it for many years and definitely a great tool to start a design process. Other than architecture projects, you can use them for industrial design or many other design generated projects. Pros Many software support autocad drawing imports. Features allow accurate drawings and documentation. Documentation is fast and easy and somewhat automated. Great for schematic design document generation. Cons Not being able to organize and update the drawing at the same time is a drawback. Only one person can have the file open at the same time. Also, the 3D generation part is tedious. Pros Works seamlessly with the other software effectively, namely 3ds max and SketchUp. The AutoCAD interface provides a workspace that feels more intuitive and functional: grids, object snaps, polar trackers and the orthogonal mode behave like real-life T squares. Autocad also allows you to password protect drawing files, to prevent access to your drawings by other users. It's more intuitive than Revit. Cons AutoCAD is not as easy to use in 3D space - Revit is far more useful. Pros This software is the equivalent to photoshop except for the 3D design world. The best features are the integrations, but I also appreciate the architectural rendering capabilities beyond just the drawing aspect. Cons There is a steep learning curve.
