Associate Banking Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Best MFA Authenticator APP" March 4, 2023 5.0 It is working pretty smooth. It generate token very fast after providing 6 digit PIN. We have integrated this with our SSO so It provides great security .It has best GUI and generate token dynamically. Pros We are using this for Multi factor authentication and identity management . It is very easy to use and easy to access. One can start work very quickly by providing token. It is very reliable and provides secure network access. Easy to install and access after providing 6 digit pin. We can share log to the team if we are facing any issue. They have good customer support. Cons Only issue I have found that when we switch from this app to other or mobile locked then again we need to provide 6 digit pin. Rest all is working fine. Review Source MW Meegan W. It is always a plus to know your data is safe from being leaked. In my line of work, that is extremely important. Pros RSA SecurID is a great program that authenticates your ID when logging into certain accounts. I like that it gives you the peace of mind that your confidential files are safe from hacks. Being a teacher, you deal with a lot of information on students. If this information fell into the wrong hands, there could be consequences. RSA SecurID gives users many different options on how to authenticate their ID. It makes it impossible for hackers to gain access to your accounts that you use with RSA SecurID. Cons I have used multiple different authenticator programs throughout my career. RSA SecurID was the most complicated to set up properly. Switched from [Microsoft Authenticator](https://www.capterra.com/p/219694/Microsoft-Authenticator/) My district switched out products at the beginning of the year. I did not have a choice. Associate Attorney Law Practice Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Not the Most User Friendly" October 9, 2020 3.0 It got the job done, but wasn't the most user friendly application due to the need to refresh the code every time and then have it drop the connection to the network periodically. Duo Mobile is a lot more reliable and easy to use. Pros Once I was able to connect to the network remotely through RSA SecurID, then the connection was reliable for the most part. Cons I always had to refresh the generated code before typing it into my computer, and then of course there was the countdown time limit. There were several times I got kicked off the network after connecting through RSA. Duo is a lot more stable. A key fob A mobile app A desktop application This way two factor authentication doesn't feel like you have to keep track of that 2nd password because it's available to be generated on multiple devices. Cons If you don't have your devices with you you won't be able to authenticate. Let say your visiting a new site and need to log on and you don't have your key fob, phone or laptop You will not be able to log in. It would be cool to have a site admin feature that could generate you a temp code for your log in. RSA is really a standard for security and works across all platforms that I use. Pros Not a whole lot to do as a user all the magic is in the backend which makes it very friendly. Access is secure and the ability to access work environment on the go is mission critical for a lot of people and this gets you in. Cons Not a whole lot of cons here installations can be tricky and if forced to do manual setup of servers etc can be daunting for some but if IT does it right then it is a breeze. March 22, 2018 4.0 Pros We are using this tool now for more then 6 month now , initially we were having all our team member complaining when we have to give the token again when tried opening a specific application again like workday. But with their recent update they added this feature and now when we are logged in our PC using RSA token then we do not need to enter the token again while trying for accessing other apps like workday. RSA secure ID app initially did not work properly on android mobile and we have to ask for RSA token device for some people in our team. From a security point of view each pin generated times out in few probably 60 seconds, which is good in my opinion.Overall in corporate setting i feel it is very useful and secure. Cons Recently we some RSA authentication stops working and we have to switch back to our old tool "Entrust", that may be their server side problem but with significant downtime. we struggled for 3-4 days and has to switch back to Entrust for that time period. But now we are of and didn't see any downtime further after that. apart from that didn't see any cons and good to go with tool. Review Source RH Randall H. Software Engineer Defense & Space Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Excellent two-factor authorization tool" December 29, 2018 5.0 Pros I definitely recommend the use of RSA security tokens as they are small, easy to setup and use, and display the authentication code always without ever having to press a button like other keyfobs do. I've had my token for nearly a decade at the same company and it's still running on the same battery. The passcode changes every minute and it gives shows how many ticks are left before the code changes again. Cons No complaints with the functionality of the tool other than an aesthetic deal. It's easy to use and simple to learn. Pros The software is basic, just type in your password and get the code you need. The timer animation is helpful in knowing how much time you have before the code changes. Very small footprint on the desktop. People that pick up the phone from Customer Service are not pretty polite, or either, friendly. Pros I liked the security that it offered to our organization. It was more of a dual approach to multifactor authentication. Easy to use once we got it started. Cons It was a little time consuming since it requires you to type in a passcode to enter the app before it will provide you with a code to enter into your computer. There are multiple steps to the authentication process that took a bit of time to complete compared to other products, but I felt that this makes it more secure than the others too. I has never caused a problem for me. Pros I used both HARD TOKEN and SOFT TOKEN versions. Both were very stable. I have never experienced problem which is very important as you were away from office when you need VPN and support from IT personel is limited. Thus, stability and robustness is key. Cons VPN connection types can be varied. Only for email, only for web, only for applications etc. This might be useful. It is secure and easy to use. We can unlock it through the fingerprint. Tokens are regularly generated. I have not seen any navigation or hanging issue with this application. The admin had me download the app into my iPhone and enter a numeric password to set it up. At that point, all I have to do is open the app, enter the password, and a 6 digit code appears. I then have less than a minute (sort of like mission impossible) to enter that code into the sign on screen on my PC to gain access. It's simple to use and I've experienced no issues in the 5 or so months that I've used it. It seems to provide an excellent level of security. Recommended. Cons It would be nice if I could also install the software on my iPad and not just my iPhone. It is possible that this was simply a corporate decision and not a product liability. It is user friendly and can change passcodes frequently without issues Cons does not work well with Palo Alto Network's Globalprotect. It is sometimes hard to refresh and get new passcodes. Pros It was pretty easy to use and verify my identity with a token id. It’s good to know my email and identity is protected and safe when sending emails and conducting business. Cons The implementation of the server was a big hassle, especially on the windows OS, even with the technical support on the line, in addition, their Linux based in-house server ready version provides very limited CLI options for advanced users. I know my bank transactions are safe. Pros My bank gave me the app to use the token to secure my transactions and it has been so useful. User friendly, easy, the copy paste option is great. Keeps my transactions safe. Cons I think giving 60 seconds is too much specially if you can copy/paste.
