It was a good experience, overall easy to use and implement.

Pros

Very good knowledge base tool. Have some great integrations allowing to search in Google Drive and Confluence. It is very easy to navigate as long as you prepare a consistent structure.

Cons

It really works like any other KB sharing information as a social network, we couldn't find any added value. They do not offer a Free Plan and sometimes searching takes long time. Formatting some pages can be challenging.

We really choose Confluence because it was more aligned to our tools, and they don't have a Free Plan.

### "A good knowledge management software"

Super good experience so far. It's a powerful tool if you start to use a knowledge management software.

Pros

We have been using Kipwise for almost a year and a healf and it has been good so far. It's a great knowledge management software. We have been able to store many "pages" and 'tabs" of knowledge, categorize by department. We can write down all the information we want and know about something. We can add co-workers for onboardings. And so much more. Each time we need something, we first try to find answers and solutions on Kipwise before asking someone.

Cons

It's better to be organized from the start if we don't want to have it go all places.

Overall the experience is positive. The product has been continuously improving and they have added lots of new functionalities since I first started using it a year ago.

Pros

User-friendly and very easy to setup. The search is awesome - with their Slack integration and Chrome extension, you can easily surface information on your knowledge base directly inside Slack or via the browser extension. Also like their collaborative editing function, making it very easy to collaborate on taking notes with my teammates. Their customer support is fantastic - they respond very quickly when I have questions and are always very helpful.

Cons

Would love to be able to customize the user dashboard but I know it's something they are doing to launch soon.

### "Great knowlegement management tool"

Good experience overall. It’s really one of a kind tool if you want to centralize all your company « knowledge » somewhere. It’s very easy to share.

Pros

Kipwise is an awesome tool for knowledge management. You can create folders and add some organized notes in there. Notes can be organized with a title, core notes. Each collaborator can bring his/her knowledge in there. We have been using it not only for newcomers but for everyone as you can really build your knowledge content in it. We linked it to Slack for instance, allowing us to share stuff to everyone in the company.

Cons

It can be a bit overwhelming if you don’t know how to use it at first. The User Interface and User Experience is not really good. Looks a bit messy if you just drop stuff in there without any structure from the beginning. Things really need to be linked to some sorts of group/category, etc.

Kipwise helps us save time in terms of knowledge management. It's easy to create folders, tabs of knowledge, and categorize. You can also link it to other software for quick access.

Pros

I enjoy using it, as all my co-workers and myself can add in some "tabs" or "pages" of knowledge. Based on the team you are in, you can adding in some key info and knowledge accessible for the whole team. You can categorize and add tags for even more granular data. It is a powerful tool you can use to store and share knowledge. Our newcomers really enjoy having it at hand. Plus, you can connect it to some other softwares like Slack.

Cons

You really need an admin to take charge of adding people and keeping things organized. When you start, it takes a bit of time to create all the folders, but once done : super easy to use.

Good in general. You can find information you need if it has been stored and filled in normally. It's more a knowledge management software more than a collaborative one.

Pros

Kipwise is a nice tool for those who want to regroup all their company knowldge in one place. You can create some pages of new knowledge and regroup them in catagory, and even add some tags. What's good about it is that you can create folders and put everything in place to create a knowledge management environnement.

Cons

The UX/UI in terms of design is not really great. And it's not that easy to find your way around it if you don't know how to use it. It requires a short training.

We were simply using Google Docs before using Kipwise and Kipwise has definiitely helped my team to be more organized, saving us a lot of time in finding information that we need.

Pros

Easy to navigate with flexible folder structure. You can set reviewers for your content so that you will receive automated review reminders. They have great integration with Google Drive, so setting up is easy. I simply need to connect my Google Drive and I can search for the previous docs that I've created on Google Drive directly on Kipwise.

Cons

I think table formatting can be improved. Although you can work around this by embedding a Google spreadsheet instead.

### "A tool that can be used for onboarding"

Good so far. It's a good tool for ducomenting things like processes and else.

Pros

The first time I used Kipwise was during the onboarding process when I just joined the company I'm working for. They regrouped all processes and geenral get-to-know on Kipwise. Right now, it's the software we use to regroup all documentations. It is useful when there is an info your are searching for, if it has been documented.

Cons

Someone needs to be dedicated to it for it to really rech its full potential.

### "Sharing knowledge "

A really nice tool to share knowledge

Pros

Being able to store some knowledge and categorize them per team. Being able to have contributors for each team and focus on creating our own knowledge sharing sharing database.

Cons

Sometimes it's hard to find the way around this tool. The UX/UI is not great, it just complicates things.
