I am generally pretty tech-savvy, but I found barriers at every turn when trying to set up even basic workflows. It's set up for a very specific type of user, but they don't tell you that. If you need any mods or customization, it will make your life very difficult. Pros Nothing. It may work for some brokerage requirements, but I have never experienced any benefits despite genuine efforts. Cons I am a commercial broker in Colorado. SkySlope's platform has hardcoded workflow stages that cannot be edited or deleted — including a Buyer Agreement that appears on every transaction regardless of deal type. Their support confirmed this cannot be fixed after a 40-minute chat that was then closed as resolved. When I tested their Forms tool, the Earnest Money field truncated the required Colorado legal term "Good Funds" to "Good Fun" on a state contract. The platform crashed multiple times mid-session with a server error. The strikethrough tool can only be used on one line at a time. Onboarding materials contained broken links. SkySlope refuses to terminate my contract despite these documented failures. This platform appears built for residential brokers in California. If that isn't you, avoid it entirely. The system was very intuitive and integrated very well with my paperwork.I’m Cons It didn’t always sync seamlessly with the MLS. At times, they were duplication of effort because of this. Maybe it's the cheapest one out there? Why anyone would choose to go with skyslope over ZipForms or Docusign transaction rooms is beyond me. Pros Nothing. There is nothing to like about skyslope. I'm shocked they still have customers. I however have no choice as it is what my brokerage chooses to use. Skyslope is such a bad product I've considered switching brokerages over it. That's how bad it is... Cons It doesn't make any logical sense to have 2 folders for each transaction. One for the forms and one for the transaction. You can't even access the transactions on the app, only the forms. So don't think you can get away with only using the transaction folder. Nothing is easy with Skyslope. It syncs to nothing. Honestly, this product hurts my brain so much I might leave my brokerage over it. Having to download a form so I can upload it to skyslope should not be a standard practice in the 21st century, sorry, not sorry. But it is the best file management system for real estate that I have used. I have used 3-4 different systems. Pros Integration with forms. Setting up checklists. Uploading docs to files or digisign. Cons The website look is a bit inconsistent from one area to another. There is not a persistent menu across all areas of the site. It is difficult to be in a doc and view another area of the site. Logging in is weird. For some reason, logging in is a hassle. Skyslope almost always says it can't log me in.
