It saves me SO much time! February 21, 2019 5.0 I'm the Chief Consultant of Borne Creative, a Marketing Agency in Australia with a major focus on digital. WHY do we LOVE RelayThat? It makes Ad creation EASY. A bespoke Ad in multiple variations can take hours to put together, especially if a client requests numerous changes. With RelayThat we can literally mock up hundreds of ad or post variations for our clients in seconds. This allows us to focus more of our time on refining campaign strategy and management, and we only need to create bespoke art for more complex client briefs. And to top it all off, their system only continues to get better and better - just look at their updates in the last year. My only regret is not buying RelayThat sooner! We highly recommend RelayThat to all businesses and marketers. Pros Easy to create a huge range of ads and ad variations + great support + always upgrading the system with new or improved features. Cons None. Some people said they had trouble figuring out how to use it but all you need to do is follow their nifty tutorial, ask their helpful support team, or check out their comprehensive help centre with FAQs. If you use social media this is the tool to get. Pros Create quality images with overlay within seconds and resize them to almost any size while keeping the visual elements. If you use different social media channels and you need images with different dimensions but want to keep a coherent style with the same elements in it, this is the software to use. Cons It could be a bit more customizable. We are using Photoshop to add small extras after creating images. Users who do not have any Photoshop skills might find themselves with images that are not 100% what they want. I wish you could save different versions (stages) of your images. Pros \- design graphics fast w/ ready templates - this app got updated with more features lately ie. quote, Headline - despite the templates, you are still able to adjust/ fine-tune the design to achieve the result that you want. - fast & easy without needing to pay for an expensive graphic designer. this Cons \- some of the design need improvements - one of my Chrome extension causing the app problem but I haven’t figure out which one yet. I am not a graphic designer, but it allows me to easy create a variety of different graphics with relative ease. Pros I like that I can create one social media graphic and then choose from a lot of layouts, designs and templates to create remixes of the graphic. Cons I wish it handled photo storage better. Photos and icons get pegged into slot numbers, and those numbers determine which photos appear in the different designs. I'm sure it's good for many, but for me, it doesn't suit my workflow. Pros RelayThat provides, in theory, an easy way to create graphics for different platforms, following the same branding across all of them. This is true, yet it's the only pro I can find. Cons I've unsuccessfully tried to create images for my social media profiles and RelayThat is so limited (on purpose, I believe) that I simply haven't been able to get it to work properly. There's no drag-and-drop, which may be good for people with absolutely no experience, but for me it's simply not practical. I don’t design often (once a month maybe).. but when I do.. you guys make me look like a PROFESSIONAL! for companies.. it’s not about a quick tool to create designs asap via random templates that look good individually. It’s about communicating the brand CONSISTENTLY (colours, fonts, logo, etc). And I think RelayThat does that so well! It is great to have this as another option in my business to create graphics. Cons I am an avid Canva user, so I am used to being able to maneuver my graphics more than RelayThat allows. This said the platform saves you from yourself. It is straightforward and allows you to create a graphic for all platforms that you desire and get ON with operating in your business. Too bad that this comes at the expense of creative freedom. Once you have the basic sown you can crank out custom images quickly. Pros Great tool for creating social posts for our clients. Doesn’t take much tome to create engaging designs and they are always adding new templates. Love that it save the colors and images for use in multiple templates. Cons Not flexible enough. I like the auto-design generation based on the template, but it can be quite a pain when it lacks flexibility. I had a problem, contacted the support on the chat and it was resolved after 2 minutes. The software will only get better. Cons You can't fine tune the designs. The templates and layouts are also great. Cons I so far havent found an easy way to undo my progress. With other programs there is an easy undo button which is really helpful.
