Overall, the company and the product is great. I couldn't be more happy with the way the tool works and the analytics I'm able to recieve.

Pros

Not only is the product great, but their service team is top notch. On top of this, the product overall has amazing features which helps us manage our community management and social media planning.

Cons

Nothing, overall, the tool is easy to use, the query filtering is smart and thoughtful. I've yet to have a problem i can't solve or the YouScan team can't help me fix.

Overall the experience has been very positive. YouScan fits well within an intelligence stack where we combine several tools to cover the full public conversation. It's reliable, the support team is responsive, and the platform keeps evolving. I'd recommend it for teams that need serious social conversation analysis at scale.

Pros

What we value most about YouScan is its data coverage. The breadth of sources it captures across social and digital media lets us work at regional scale and reach conversations that other tools miss. The customer support has been excellent — responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us get the most out of the platform. And the flexibility of the tool stands out: building complex queries, customizing tags, and adapting the setup to each project's needs is straightforward once you know your way around it. For serious social conversation analysis, that combination of reach, support, and adaptability makes a real difference.

Cons

Sentiment processing for sarcasm and irony in regional Spanish still has room to improve, which means an occasional manual review layer is needed for certain analyses. Pricing can also be a consideration for smaller teams.

YouScan has been a very good addition to our social listening toolkit, offering us added coverage, ease of use and very helpful customer service.

Pros

YouScan offers more information sources that are not available in other tools, like TikTok content and the ability of integrating Google Maps reviews, among others. It is a very user-friendly platform. The fact that mention volume increases do not affect the project quotas is also a strenght. Customer Support has been very helpful and has addressed our questions and needs promptly.

Cons

The number of queries (in all plans) is very limited, which implies combining several projects into one query. This is not ideal for a medium or large operation, at least for agencies. Most other tools are not as restrictive on this matter, or don't have any limits. The "Search" tool (outside the Topics) provides very limited information since the sample is so small. Therefore it's useful only for very large volumes or for the mentions number. It is not competitive vs other platforms like Talkwalker. The AI (Copilot) integration within the dashboards could improve to include overiews of the general topic, instead of only specific highlights.

It plugged a gap we genuinely had no other way around — this wasn't a nice-to-have, it was in the brief and YouScan was the only tool that could actually do it reliably in that context and at the pace we needed. Beyond this project, we've been using YouScan across a few different briefs now and there's clear potential to expand further, particularly around video and TikTok capabilities which we're in the process of testing. If the coverage keeps improving, honestly, this could end up being the main tool rather than just one of several we're juggling. The team's been solid to work with, honestly — that stuff matters more than people admit when you're trying to fit a new tool into how you already operate.

Pros

Our client brief explicitly included logo detection around series of sport events, and it was never going to be something we could sidestep. Sport content is almost entirely visual — the photos from events, from sponsorship announcements, from fan coverage — and the logo is front and centre in all of it. If we hadn't been able to deliver on that, it would have been immediately obvious and the client would not have been happy. What YouScan gave us was a solution that actually worked for that specific context, quickly and reliably, at a point where our existing tool had already been asked and couldn't deliver fast enough. The support side of things has also been good — our manager \[sensitive content hidden\] is responsive and the team is open to working through things collaboratively, whether that's adding data sources, working through commercial arrangements, or just being available when something needs resolving. The comparative benchmarking capability was also valuable. Being able to set up separate topics for co-sponsors of the event and track their visibility alongside the client's gave us a much richer picture of how the sponsorship was performing in context — not just in absolute terms but relative to who else was on that car and in that paddock.

Cons

We work across a lot of markets and there are sources — particularly some regional and specialist ones — that we still need other tools for. We've shared a priority list and the team seems genuinely willing to work through it, so I'm cautiously optimistic, but right now it limits how central YouScan can be to our overall stack.

Lo que más nos gusto es poder tener las menciones externas a nuestras redes sociales pero que hablan de nuestra marca y de temas que nos interesan. Adicional el poder rastrear Nuestro logo en las redes y la web

Cons

Lo que menos nos ha gustado es la demora en la recolección de las menciones. Ya que todas las redes tienen tiempos de recolección diferentes y a veces no recolecta las menciones que necesitamos de manera inmediata. Por otro lado el no poder rastrear el logo de la marca durante todo el video sino únicamente en la portada del mismo.

Our overall experience has been very positive. We have used YouScan for nearly two years to support online reputation management and social listening across multiple international markets. The platform is reliable, easy to use, and provides valuable insights that help us monitor conversations, identify trends, and react quickly to important mentions. The support team has also been responsive and open to feedback throughout our collaboration.

Pros

YouScan helps us monitor brand mentions and online discussions across multiple countries, languages, and platforms from a single dashboard. The mention detection is very fast and often identifies new conversations sooner than other tools we have used. We also appreciate the advanced filtering options, sentiment analysis, and the continuous improvements made to the platform over time.

Cons

One area for improvement would be giving users more control over language and regional settings directly from the frontend. For example, it would be helpful to configure an account to automatically use a specific market setting, such as Singapore, without requiring backend adjustments.

Overall, I am really happy with our experience with YouScan! It's been an invaluable service that's been added to our team workflows.

Pros

YouScan is a fantastic social listening tool. I love how easy it is to use, how robust its features are, and the small details they've included in the dashboards that really work well for social media managers. I also think their support team is some of the best I've worked with in the business, making it easy for the entire team to learn how to use these features.

Cons

So far, no big complaints about how YouScan works. The only thing I wish for more of was an understanding of which features need to be add-ons and topics.

I use it for brand reputations and campaign analysis for several clientes. I have tried other similar tools and decided to stick with youscan since its has the best vaue from money.

Pros

It has a great value from money, their visual recognition module is very good and also their support is top-class.

Cons

Could have more mentions in the starter plan. It used to hace 10.000 and suddenly they changed it to 5.000.

Most of the work we do falls into a few patterns. Sometimes we analyze how conversation around a brand has changed over time while other times we monitor hot topics or viral content so clients can react quickly if something starts gaining traction online. With YouScan granting us access to TikTok data, we are able to consistently stay on top of the latest trends and flag important conversations happening in the moment. In addition to looking at specific brands and products, we also use listening tools for exploratory research projects. For example, looking at how people talk about certain trends or topics online. Having these additional data sources makes our job of quantifying and analyzing trends infinitely easier. Overall, YouScan has become a tool essential to our analysis. It doesn’t replace everything else, but it fills some key gaps and grants us another way to understand what people are saying online.

We originally subscribed to YouScan for its TikTok data, this is where it helps us the most, but we have found it to be very useful with Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, and X data as well. We use a variety of listening tools in our work, depending on the client and the type of project but because TikTok has become so hard to ignore if you’re trying to understand how people talk about brands online, YouScan has proven essential to our work. So much conversation happens on TikTok first, so having access to this data makes our work easier. Additionally, we’ve used YouScan for review data. That has been helpful on a few projects where social posts alone didn’t tell the full story. Reviews can reveal a different kind of user feedback, and aids our analysis alongside social conversations. In general, we keep track of what platforms are building and improving on over time. Our work changes from project to project, so it helps when a tool keeps adding new features and expanding what it can do.

Cons

Our team tends to do fairly deep analysis, and we usually combine several data sources together. Because of that, we often export data and work with it in other systems. Some built-in AI features are less important for our workflow since we’re already processing the information in other ways. Another thing we noticed while testing visual logo detection is that it needs some careful setup. If a logo shape is very simple, it can sometimes match things that aren’t actually related. That’s not unusual for visual recognition tools, but it does mean you need to spend some time cleaning up the search. Lastly, we have run into some challenges with the time required for historical collection. While timing can vary depending on the complexity or size of a topic, these inconsistencies can sometimes lead to analyses being completed down to the wire.

En general, mi experiencia con YouScan ha sido positiva. Es una herramienta valiosa para analizar conversaciones y detectar oportunidades, aunque con algunas limitaciones según la suscripción.

Pros

Lo que más me ha gustado de YouScan es que realmente te ayuda a entender lo que está pasando en redes, no solo a recolectar datos. Convierte conversaciones dispersas en insights claros que puedes usar para tomar decisiones.
