It simplifies the process and allows for organization rather than scrambling searching for somewhere that has availability. Pros OpenTable has proven to be a beneficial application to our company; it simplifies the outdated reservation process. OpenTable provides full transparency in regard to availability and allows coordination between the restaurant to show potential customers available time slots/days. Cons The only thing that I did not like was that some of the restaurants sometimes do not seem to treat the opentable users the same as someone who made a reservation through them. January 9, 2020 5.0 I have used Open Table to make reservations on special occasions and on days I know places will be busy. For example, I used this service most recently on Black Friday because I knew restaurants at the mall would be packed at lunchtime. Pros Using OpenTable is easy to see open options and make reservations for busy restaurants. I like that the open times are visible before you commit to a specific time. I never have a hard time getting a reservation and when I arrive at the restaurant the wait is minimal. Ability to pay ahead of time is great but not always available. Cons Cancellations are not up to date. It takes a day or two to appear in the site so sometimes I call the restaurant to confirm. The website is clean to use and the functions are very user friendly. Cons The cost to advertise verses the overall amount of people coming in. This is great for restaurants who have built up some brand recognition or are spending other efforts marketing on other platforms. Just using this platform alone will not boost overall sales. Its very helpful and allows me to book 3 months ahead for my favorite restaurants. Cons The only thing about OpenTable is that sometimes the restaurant listed me as no show and I do not think thats true. I'm highly satisfied. Pros OpenTable is extremely user friendly. I mainly use the OpenTable app for reservations ahead of time, especially on vacations, and it works great! Cons The only thing I do not like is that I can't book 2 reservations around the same time. I like to do this and then cancel which one I didn't want, but I understand how that could create issues. I no longer have to call my go-to restaurants for reservations, as they're always busy so OpenTable is the best option. It has allowed to me schedule lunch and dinner meetings not only for myself, but for other employees at DialogTech. I also enjoy the perk of receiving points for every reservation booked. I'm excited to use my points for a larger prize in the future! Pros I love the easy accessibility of being able to reserve a table quickly. Both on the mobile app and desktop, it immediately presents the date, time, number of people and location to where you'd like to reserve a table. It is quite easy to navigate and the UI is interactive enough for it to be easy on the eyes. Cons The only thing I dislike at the moment, is how many email I receive after signing up. June 10, 2018 5.0 Easy to make reservations, see how busy a restaurant it, and research a place before going. Pros It's easy to use, the platform is for clean too. I like that not only can you make reservations but customers can do their research about the quality of a restaurant by reading their reviews, which are, I think, posted by foodies who know what they are talking about. At the same time, restaurants can use the reviews to help their own operations by seeing what customers like and don't like. And each restaurant shows how many times its been booked that day, another cool feature. Mobile versions available as well! Open table allows you to view reservations in relation to your location which opens new areas of interest that would otherwise not be present. Ease of selection for times, restaurants, and other options are able to be navigated with efficiency. Cons I feel all aspects of use for reservations are friendly for all users. It makes it easy to make reservations when you're in a pinch. Pros OpenTable was very easy to use to set up reservations for a restaurant visit. There system is set up nicely to be able to quickly and easily make a reservation. Confirmation email is a good addition. Cons There really isn't anything to dislike about OpenTable. They have made their product easy to use, even for the first time user. Pros I appreciate the software, as it makes it very easy to make and maintain reservations at restaurants. It's nice to be able to do it from an app as opposed to going to a bunch of individual websites or calling restaurants on the phone. Cons I think the notification system could use some work and the readability of the app sometimes is tough and confusing, but those are very small issues.
