It reduces errors and saves time, especially for residential projects, though it may not be the best fit for very complex or large-scale estimating needs. **Pros:** Buildxact makes it much easier to create accurate estimates without relying on multiple spreadsheets. The takeoff tools and cost tracking features help reduce manual effort and improve consistency across bids. It also allows me to generate professional quotes quickly, which helps in responding faster to clients. **Cons:** It can feel restrictive when working on highly detailed or non standard estimates. Initial setup of cost data takes time, and occasional slowdowns happen with larger projects. The pricing may also be a bit high for smaller estimating teams. katie B. I recommend it to all our builder friends and I will continue to use it. **Pros:** Value for money and ease of use. Great for tracking jobs and margins. It leaves little room for error when invoicing and the detail we can provide clients is excellent **Cons:** Not having someone to call straight away if there is an issue, i have to wait until someone gets back to me.
