Pros I recommend setting up Freshping, since it is easiest on the market, and you get started very quickly. Cons Setting up custom domain could be even easier than it is now. Slow response from support and eventually no communication. How can they expect any business to realistically rely on this service? Pros On the surface, this product should be good and at a basic level it does work. It's easy to set up checks and there is a reasonable amount of customisation Cons I was trying the plan above free to see whether it was worth upgrading because there was a check we wanted on a 3rd party site and their SSL isn't configured properly. There is an option to not fail the check on an SSL error but this functionality was 'buggy' (whenever I saved the check it switched SSL monitoring back on). That was fixed once I raised it to their support desk . However, when switched off, the check still failed as the type of SSL error the site was throwing was still picked up. I was assured that this would be fixed and someone would get back to me and they'd extend my trial so I can test properly before making a decision. My last communication with them was 25th July - I've used their 'live' chat (days normally to respond) and also submitted a support ticket, I've chased and nothing, not a single response for 3 weeks Review Source TS Tom S. Cons It would be nice if it was the same product as their sister product Fresh Status which allows you to provide a system status page. Pros Very easy to set Freshping up, if you don't go into too much detail you can add many many sites to be monitored very fast, and the services were always reliable. Cons Paywalls seem to appear quite frequently for additional tooling and features. With few steps you have a full monitoring running system. You can customize it and use with your team easily. And the API, thanks a lot for that. Cons I do not find any so far. I keep digging. My clients love their uptime reports and a couple have used those reports when acquiring new sales contracts in their industry. Cons It is just missing integration with TacticalRMM. May 17, 2018 5.0 Monitored my server status for almost a year for free. Pros Web hooks are great, I'm primarily using them to connect my twitter bot @bot\_uptime to Insping. Insping reports my server status per 5 minutes and bot also provides information to my bot too. You can see first tweet on Jul 2017, it's been almost a whole year and insping never failed me. Cons Free tier has 5 minutes intervals, but it's not really a downside. 5 minutes is still generous and pretty good. Then I used a lot of platforms but I had to come back. Ease of use it at upper level. Highly recomended. Pros I liked the way it even monitors the DNS server and their are tons of like this option, e.g. SSL monitoring. It helps me to renew before my SSL expired and reminds me whether my website is secure for everyone. Not a lot of companies does it so nicely! Cons It is more often a infrastructure issue. The country I live, this company doesn't give better speed accessing the website. So I have to use VPN in some cases. May be having a edge CDN service in my country would help! Pros This is a great platform and amazing user interface easy to see and find the information you need. There are many up-time monitoring systems available but this one fresh ping is far more refined and minutes to get home boarded and super easy to use. Cons Nothing so far that we dislike we're still in the early stages of testing but we are working well with the software.
