Pros

be able to check if your websites are up, and not instandly get hit with a paywall to use it. and the tool isn't limited to just normal pings.

Cons

I haven't found a way yet to make a dashboard out of it, i've no other cons.

Pros

Free offering is nice since every competitor prices a check too high. It's relatively easy to setup and seems to be reliable.

Cons

Limited to 2 checks. I was hoping to have a reliable free tool that could check at least 4 or 5, but that doesn't seem to exist.

Pros

It's a great tool for monitoring the status of my website. With Freshping I know when my site is down thanks to the email notification I can fix it quickly.

Cons

So far I am impressed with the software.

Number one reason I chosse this software is the pricing. I mainly use this just to check the uptime status and just for a free tier, I am impressed with what I get so far.

Overall experience was very convenient. No cost for the business and definitely one of the most promising tools to monitor your websites.

Pros

The really good thing about Freshping is that it works right out of the box, FREE for 50 sites and lets you create different status page for you and your clients. It is seamlessly connected to the other Freshapps like Freshdesk so if your site goes down, it creates a ticket automatically for the helpdesk to resolve! How convenient is that!

Cons

The only con of the software is that the custom domain does not work. I tried to contact support but because it is FREE, I did not get any response.

I get alerts whenever we have any downtime.

Pros

We just have to input a URL and it automatically checks it at the predefined interval. It's literally as easy as that. Once we input it, we don't have to touch it again. I had to actually go back into our account to see what the process was since it's been so long since we set it up.

Cons

I wish I could automate some posts and API calls to verify certain endpoints and that they have not regressed.

Fresh ping has replaced my aged old favourite Pingdom for ease of use and a straightforward single view of my servers and services. All the basic features work right out of the box and you can easily get a widget or upgrade for extras. Its a great product for teams looking to quickly get sight of kit with minimum to no cost.

Cons

None that I can see or would expect from a free service.

Really easy to use and deploy. The fact that it is free for the first 50 is also very interesting.
