Consultant Internet Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Great solution for questions from the audience" January 7, 2019 4.0 Overall, I was impressed with the functionality, text numbers, and options for something with such a good price. Definitely worth checking out! Pros Loved that I got a text number and could try this software out without spending a fortune. Very competitive pricing, and worked for my use case of getting the audience to supply questions without seeing everyone elses questions. Pretty easy to use interface, and got everything to work for me. The support was good too. Cons The big missing feature was a checkbox to prevent audience members to see other peoples questions when using the website to submit their question. Oddly, this option is available for polls, but not for open-ended questions. Didn't look like I could easily embed live polls in a presentation, but then that's not really what this software is for, or my particular use case. Review Source DH Dan H. Teacher E-Learning Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "My students love it!" December 30, 2020 5.0 Customer service was outstanding. I noticed other polling sites and their costs as well, and I think it all is expensive. It has been worth it to me, but I can easily see man teacher not justifying the cost. That aside, this program has helped me understand what I am doing right or wrong, and my students as well, in the classroom. Pros I use this to check for understanding in the classroom. I embed the links in my PowerPoint presentations and the students take it from there. It's great to get live feedback to see what the students retained and understood, and what they still need work on. If further re-teaching is needed, it can be addressed immediately, rather than waiting for the results of a quiz or a test. The students have a blast with it as well. They get so excited when they choose the correct answer and how they stacked up to the rest of the class. Cons The software is fine. If there is one con, it's that I have to switch which poll is live in the middle of my instruction. I'm an experienced teacher, so I do this seamlessly while continuing to teach. That being said, I can also see where this could slow a lesson down or be one too many steps for a fellow teacher to want to tackle within a lesson. However, I am aware that this software is not necessarily designed for how I use it. April 12, 2018 3.0 Pros This software is more cost effective than other products on the market, which was the biggest draw for our nonprofit organization. Cons The presentation/audience view of an active, live poll is not the cleanest. The font sizes are small, and there are very few appearance options to customize the look of the audience view. The integration with PPT was clunky - had to exit out of presentation mode in order to operate multiple survey questions due to the need to "stop" each question before proceeding to the next. Pros The customer service received from the Swift team was phenomenal! I had several questions and needed some specific things answered regarding our event and they were very quick to respond and went above and beyond to help out Cons I wish there were some more options for displaying the content to the users during the event. The system crashed during one of the s and kicked us out of the system. The company wanted to learn more and began looking into issuing a refund because of the product failure. That was the last time they would correspond with us. Never got refund. A company that lost my trust. Cons After initially being concerned with our problem, the company stopped corresponding with us. The service has been a key part to add interactivity to my client’s live streaming events. Pros I tested a couple of alternatives to integrate a live polling feature during live streaming events. Swift Polling is easy to use and offers several visualizations for data. The audience can interact live, giving their responses on a browser or text message. I can display the real-time results on the live stream and project them for the searing audience at the event. Word cloud is probably one of my favorite data visualizations. The interface is very clean and easy to navigate. I can also work on multiple projects in advance and Steve them for when my event is going live. Swift is also very affordable with multiple subscription options. Cons The service has a lot of the basic tools I need for my use. I wish they would integrate more visualizations and allow users to customize the look to match a presentation or the corporate image with the option to add a logo or branding. In this Dancing with the Stars-style fundraiser, local doctor and dance pro teams perform, and the audience can vote for their favorites from home. This polling platform made it easy to share this feature, and the results were fast & in real time. Cons I'm not sure if this exists, but if not, and optional donation button would be a nice extra for nonprofits like ours. Pros I like that it is very easy to use and you have some control over the outcome and viewing of the voting/response. Cons I wish I could have more control over the screen that is projecting the results live. I projected the results onto a large screen in an expo center and I have to do some manipulating with the zoom of the screen to achieve a tailored look at that was not too small for my viewers to see. We realized that we needed the next tier of user packages, to accommodate the amount of responses we'd receive. There had to be a back-around, customer-service manner to get us into the next tier - while reimbursing the previous.
