Cons I have had trouble organizing my videos. They seem to all go into the same folder by default and reorganizing them has been difficult. When I had some problems, the support team was right there to help. Most of the support is done online so one has to be patient. Pros After watching the tutorials and navigationg thru the system it was easy to use Cons When I created my first video, my computer did not have the most recent upgrades and the video did not seem to play in sync. I switched to antoher computer and it was fine. Pros This software makes it easy for teachers and students to edit video without worrying about what device or os a student or teacher uses. A teacher can give video editing homework and not have to worry about which device a student has and if it is powerful enough. Wevideo was super easy to set up and learn and it has been a lifesaver for us. We especially enjoy the green screen and GIF options. It gives the students voice and choice, and I we have been using it exclusively for our news show! Cons Logging in for the first time can be a bit confusing due to the random times where it will take you to a signup page or surveys if you aren't joining through an organization. I've made 100+ videos. Pros I think wevideo is very easy to use. I like the stock images, videos, and sounds I can pick from. I can organize my audio, videos, and photos. The sizzle of love events isn't possible, but WeVideo has helped me create sizzle on the screen! Pros I used to use iMovie on a MacBook to produce videos of highlights of my team's work. When our company went to Chromebooks, I didn't have a good way to edit and publish. WeVideo is very similar to iMovie and low cost. I am relived to have found a good service for making videos again! My team and manager love the quality and creativity possible in the movies I make with WeVideo. Cons I'm still exploring it and have been satisfied so far with my first few videos. Students gain a variety of skills through using all of the editing and creation tools embedded within WeVideo. Pros As an Instructional Technologist, I am always looking for the best creation tools for K-12 students. When our 9-12th grade students switched from iPads to Chromebooks, we needed to find the best video creation tool for them. WeVideo offered everything they had in iMovie and more!! Cons Due to the cost, we are limited with how many licenses our district can provide. It is simple, easy to learn, easy to access from anywhere. I am really happy with a Storyboard mode and excited to work on new videos. Pros Super easy that even I could find my way around. I needed short teaser clips to promote our projects and with budget constraints, we had to do it in-house. Without any prior knowledge, I was able to navigate the basics. Bonus, it is all online, you can access it from anywhere, which is especially convenient now. Cons Obviously the features are limited and fairly rudimentary, but this is what it makes so easy to find your way around. This is a tool for us, amateurs who are happy with what it has to offer. Pros I love the ease with which the software allows users to create video, podcasts, etc. Even the most amateur of editors can master using this software. I also like the quality of videos that it creates. Excellent quality is always maintained and that is important. Cons Just a minor dislike. With everything going on right now, it is a good tool to have if we just have meetings remotely. Pros This allows you to put a video together using pictures, words and music. This is a good way to deliver information in a presentation format and allows it to be much more interactive. There is even a feature where you can talk and use audio while the images play to explain what is going on. Cons Some of the features are hard to figure out and to use at first.
