Overall, my experience with OptiSigns has been very positive. It solves the challenge of managing digital signage across multiple screens in a simple and scalable way. The platform is flexible, reliable, and easy to use, both for me and my clients. For example, my client recently asked me to remove a grand opening promotion from their screens, and I was able to make the update in minutes with no issues. That level of responsiveness is a huge benefit. Between its ease of use, strong screen and device management, and smooth day-to-day performance, OptiSigns has been a great solution for my business and my clients.

Pros

What I like most about OptiSigns is how easy and reliable the platform is. As a design studio, I needed a system I could confidently implement for my client, Elevate SKN, and OptiSigns delivered. The platform is very user-friendly, making it simple to manage and update screens remotely. The interface is intuitive, and everything runs smoothly, which saves a lot of time. I also love the plug-and-play setup with Apple TV, which makes deployment seamless, and the Canva-like interface that allows my clients to easily manage and update their own content without needing constant support

Cons

One area for improvement would be video asset support. I wish there were clearer guidelines and more robust options for video sizing, formatting, and display specifications to ensure content looks perfect across screens.

### "How Did We Survive Without OptiSigns?!"

We're incredibly happy with the experience we've had so far. Broadcasting messages to those coming into our offices and into our church has never been easier, and the people are much more likely to get the information they need.

Pros

OptiSigns makes displaying messages at our parish SO easy. The fact that we can run messages with no monthly fee, only the cost of the equipment, has been fantastic, and if need be we can always upgrade in the future to add more features. In an environment where the schedule is often changing, using digital signage really helps us to keep things current, and really catches people's eyes. Customer Support, while we've barely had to use it, has been incredibly quick and helpful.

Cons

Really, the only complaint I can think of is that there is a slight learning curve when it comes to using split-screen, etc. However, there are GREAT resources available in the help center explaining everything.

We would make slides, put them into DaVinci, duplicate it to make it an 11 hour video, then upload to YouTube, and run from there. Rendering the massive video file and needing to go through that whole process anytime a minor change needed to be made was really unsustainable.

### "Good Technology / Tough Compatibility "

Overall I believe the technology is very useful and well designed. its just flawed in its approach as to even tech savvy people its hard to just setup and play which leads to customer satisfaction. At least we ran into a lot of trouble. and even if that was due to our specific circumstances it would be nice to be given something that easily outligns what might give us trouble.

Pros

I will say what I like most about optisign is the fact that customer support (particularly \[sensitive content hidden\] was super responsive and helpful when it came to trying to help me troubleshoot our troubles with their ProMax player. it seems that it is functioning how we intend now and that is ANOTHER reason we like optisign is the technology.

Cons

the cons would most likely be not being the most straightforward and manageable devices. plus the compatibility charts not being very upfront. we had to troubleshoot our tv's with the ProMax player for a while before we got it near functioning how we wanted it to.

My overall experience with OptiSigns has been very positive. It is extremely easy to use, and you can have screens up and running in less than five minutes. The platform makes scheduling, screen management, and content updates simple, even across multiple devices. What stands out most is that it really empowers you to be creative, even if you do not have a dedicated design team. Between the templates, integrations, widgets, and ease of use, it is a very practical and powerful solution for digital signage.

Pros

What I like most about OptiSigns is how much flexibility it gives you without making things complicated. The platform has a wide range of integrations, and Canva is a great example of that. If you do not have a full graphic design team or expensive design software, the built-in templates and design tools in OptiSigns are incredibly helpful and give you a great head start on creating professional-looking content. It is also very easy to schedule content and manage a fleet of screens across locations. On top of that, OptiSigns includes a lot of useful apps and widgets. I especially like the social media widgets that let customers see your current followers and scan a QR code to follow or sign up right from the screen.

Cons

My main criticism is that I would like a little more visibility into pricing as you scale up to a larger number of screens. The platform is strong overall, but clearer pricing guidance for growing deployments would be helpful.

### "An Amazing Easy to Use Digital Signage Option for Medium to Large Operations"

Overall Optisigns has been a huge boost to visibility at our organization. Deploying different dashboards in different offices has allowed us better tracking and visibility into important statistics or metrics. We like to put technician leaderboards up in our warehouse so the techs can see where they lie in the mornings.

Pros

The Ability to create multiple different playlists of content and deploy each at certain times/to certain devices easily is super helpful in an environment where new dashboards are being implemented all the time.

Cons

Some devices are unable to display excel spreadsheets or google sheets, easily worked around with a high quality fire stick.

OptiSigns is effectively solving our biggest pain point: the bottleneck of relying on IT to manage and update digital signage content. General company-wide information as well as department-specific content is now being communicated quickly and effectively. IT has been completely removed from the process of uploading and managing user content. End users in each department can now manage and update their own displays directly, giving teams full ownership and much faster turnaround times. This has significantly reduced IT workload, improved communication speed, and empowered departments to keep their information fresh and relevant in real time.

Pros

The simplicity and cost-effectiveness are outstanding. Our end users can easily create and update their own content directly in the platform, eliminating the need to wait for IT to make changes in our SpinetiX system. This has saved us significant time and resources while giving teams the flexibility to keep their displays fresh and relevant in real time. The user-friendly interface makes it accessible for non-technical staff, and the overall reliability has been excellent. Highly recommend OptiSigns for any organization looking to streamline digital signage without the usual complexity or high costs.

Cons

I honestly haven’t found any technical issues that I dislike — the platform has been reliable and user-friendly overall. My only suggestion would be on the billing side. It would be very helpful to have the ability to create sub-accounts so we could bill departments separately. This would make cost allocation and internal management much easier for organizations with multiple departments.

Some issues with deploying the AI features, but overall its rare that I've been unable to execute the vision I've had for screen deployments.

Pros

Monthly subscription rates are reasonably affordable, AI audience analytics, and wide hardware compatability. Setup is also easy, regardless of wether its a single or batch deployment. The options for sensor integration are also a key differentiator.

Cons

Alot of the supporting templates, apps, and documentation heavily favor internal usage rather than commercial.

A+++ Extremly fast to setup new device, new configuration for the site we need to do. We cant go back with our previous solution and we pay less for more TV. Hardware was not so cheap but robust

We use other system before but Optisigns was cheaper and do exactly the same and more. We recommand this product.

Cons

Nothing bad for us it does what suppose to do. In the past with other product some feature was missing or need compter to run then avti-virus and all these thing.

Overall, would recommend OptiSigns over YoDeck. We tried both and ended up going with OptiSigns due to price and ease of use.

Pros

It's one of the most affordable options out there along with the free plan being more than sufficient for our needs, also it was very easy to setup.

Cons

There could be more integrations. We use embed for most of our screens and that works, but it could be better with native app support.

So far, being a new user, I enjoy Optisigns. I am still learning what it can do but I often use the knowledge I have so far.

Pros

It is easy to use and migrates easily with equipment I already have. Making new slides only takes minutes and I just add them to my playlist.

Cons

I do wish there was a little more ability to truly make the pages my own. Sometimes there are options that don't work for what I need so I have to create outside of Optisigns and import.

I am very happy with OptiSigns - being cloud based is a huge perk - if any event names or signage needs to be updated, i can easily log in at home

Pros

We’re very happy with OptiSigns. Currently using as a hotel reader board, we manually add content to display meetings in house and updating content is quick and straightforward, allowing us to change messages, promotions, and announcements in real time. The design looks modern and professional, and the system has been reliable with no major issues so far. We just added a 2nd screen which mirrors the first and it is very helpful.

Cons

no integration with salesforce/delphi.fdc - we have to create "daily event slides" everyday - but OptiSigns is 1/100th the price of a hotel reader board system

### "Smooth Operating Sysytem"

Pretty smooth and well run programming. The most issues I've experienced is either a broken or bad file not being displayed properly (which is usually not their fault), or a problem with Google Drive communicating with OptiSigns properly.

Pros

It is pretty intuitive, and I like the ability to pull directly from a Google Drive. It is easy to manipulate and display things on vertically oriented tvs.

Cons

It is really expensive for the service. We definitely under utilize the software and is able to do way more than what we need, which is nice, however we don't need the extras. So for the minimal use we need, it is an expensive premium. A lower cost, limited access, budget option would be nice and we would personally really benefit from it.

Overall I have really enjoyed the Optisigns product and offerings. I have even referred a few other businesses to using it.

Pros

Super easy install on out TCL / GoogleTV televisions. All we did was download the application, install it, pair it to the account and done. Doesn't get any easier. Super easy to manage the screens from the account as well.

Cons

The only con I think, and not sure it is really a con is I wish you could still use the free screens options along with a paid screen or two.

OptiSigns has been by far the easiest product for me to pickup on quickly. The layout of the system is generally easy to navigate and understand. I have my own personal challenge but I am getting better each day.

Pros

OptiSigns has given me the ability to showcase client reviews, team members, rentals and homes for sale. We are moving into a new space and have street level windows now, so we were excited to be able to showcase these items to the public as they stroll the sidewalk. It was easy to setup, easy to implement, and easy to integrate our social media accounts and Canva accounts.

Cons

My only struggle with OptiSigns is maintaining the order in which assets display onscreen. It get's alittle confusing for me because I don't want to flood the order in which assets display with all team members or homes, so I have to work on that. I'm sure I'll get better!

Very positive experience. I'm very happy with our choice of provider for this particular service. There's been a genuine feel of help and assistance from across the globe!

Pros

The integration between different sources of information. I can have so many different sources all displaying to staff at the same time. I also love the scheduling ability of different playlists to correspond to the time of the month we are in. The customer support has been approachable and available for any questions we may need but they have let us make our own way too, which I really appreciated. Scheduling, creating and managing the screens was intuitive and easy. The ability to segregate and designate device screens is vastly important, as one part of the office needs certain info whilst the other side, doesn't need the same.

Cons

The smart TV app can be heavy on older models of smart TV or android boxes. I would suggest to anybody planning on using the smart TV or android TV app, try and make sure its plentiful in it processing power to ensure a seamless experience..

### "Best on the Market!"

Very Good. Nearly no Downtime and an easy control of all screens under management within our Company!

Pros

The variety of features and Apps as well as the flexibility of instalment, especially not having to use an OptiSign player by directly installing the software on our Samsung Signage Displays. These Players are sometimes a bottleneck, as our displays are installed in various spots, that are often difficult to reach, so there's one reason less, to make the hassle of getting at the back of them just to look if the player is fully plugged in.

Cons

I mostly dislike two things. One is more obvious, the other one a bit special: 1. Not being able to only give users access to selected displays. We use many displays as menu boards at our concession stands. Our POS Registers run on Windows, so I would love to just give them the option to open chrome, log in to OptiSign and control display above them. They should only be able to switch between our menu board playlist and the "Currently Closed" Asset. 2. A MovieDB Integration would be wonderful to directly source poster assets and other marketing material, but that's only relevant for cinemas, so this won't be a disadvantage for most users.

### "Great Design Software and my Tradeshow Secret Tool"

Easy to use once I put my mind to it and cleared my schedule. Very happy with the results and i can't wait create the material for our next show.

Pros

Very easy to use, and telepohne support for the more tricky applications. Helpdesk response is very quick and they even offered to meet with me over the weekend to ensure everything was working. The price is no brainer as we use this only a few times a year, my last software company wanted $1200 for a year, was not reliable, and we had paid their design team for creative and it still did not work.

Cons

I would like to see a few more transition options, a grid background for designing. The ability to alter gradients, frames and fonts. Create an Optisign Academy, so I don't have to go through spammy tutorials that are not Optisign created. Access engage assets in the same folder as the files/assets.

I can easily operate the entire Opti Eco system, using Canva and deploying high quality content, the additional apps and real time updates.

Pros

Value, deployment, ease of use and the support service. Optisigns support is quick, effective and personal.

Cons

Apps to also cover other national sports, in Australia AFL and NRL. Consider a screen divider that gives scrolling simulation like a mobile experience, top to bottom like your thumb action.

Pros

What I like most about OptiSigns is how well it supports our daily hotel operations and enhances the overall guest experience. Overall, our experience with OptiSigns has been mostly positive, especially when it comes to ease of use and content management. The platform makes it simple to upload and manage content through the cloud, and once a device is set up, everything can be controlled remotely without much effort. The user interface is intuitive, collaboration is easy, and the variety of templates and customization options makes it a flexible solution for digital signage needs. That said, the experience was dampened by some confusion around product capabilities and pricing. Certain limitations—particularly around multi-screen use—were not clearly communicated upfront, leading to frustration and unexpected costs. While we were ultimately able to find a workaround, clearer explanations about subscriptions and feature requirements would have helped set more accurate expectations from the beginning. In summary, OptiSigns is a strong and user-friendly platform with powerful features, but prospective users should take time to fully understand the licensing and subscription structure to avoid surprises. With better transparency, the overall experience would be much smoother.

Pros

OptiSigns makes cloud-based content management incredibly easy. I appreciate how simple it is to set up a device and then handle everything remotely through the online platform. The interface is very intuitive, so even new users can navigate it without trouble. Adding multiple users is hassle-free too—you can either share an invite link or create a temporary password, which is a convenient touch. Another big plus is the wide range of templates available, offering plenty of customization options and useful features.

Cons

We were disappointed by some unclear communication around the product’s capabilities. Our goal was to display the same content on TVs that are located far apart, and we were advised that the Pro Player would be ideal since it supports up to three screens. However, it wasn’t explained upfront that activating the additional two screens would require purchasing a separate Video Wall subscription. This was frustrating, especially since the Pro Player already includes three HDMI ports, yet they can’t be fully used without paying for another add-on on top of the per-device subscription. We even requested a trial of the Video Wall feature to test whether it would solve the issue, but it still didn’t work as expected. In the end, we were able to work around the limitation by using an HDMI splitter—otherwise, we likely would have returned the product.

### "Finally got the screens working"

I don’t have to race all over a USB stick to show the new information and it makes the branding look pretty decent, despite me not hiring a highend designer.

Pros

The Pi installed without blowing up when I plugged it in. I just copied some random files from my desktop into the library and the scaling did not crash. I was truly shocked that the Canva stuff worked at all given that everything else today has been completely terrible. At least I can update the hallway displays from my desk and do not have to leave my seat. I am simply grateful that the thing will stay powered for longer than one hour.

Cons

I think I would have a better chance of finding the settings for the basic scheduling in the OptiSigns dashboard if the menu items were in alphabetical order or something other than a 1990s style layout.

All in all, i really like the device, it's easy to manage. It connects to my phone automatically. And i encounter no problems since i first bought it.

Pros

Helpful in spreading information and events. Very user friendly and easy to manage. The device last longer than expected without any troubles.

Cons

I think the developers might give it a easy to navigate design or layout. And it would be good to add additional free features.

### "Opti sign experience"

My overall experience with OptiSigns￼ has been very positive. The platform is easy to set up and works well for managing digital signage across different screens and locations. One of the best parts is the user-friendly dashboard, which makes uploading images, videos, menus, and announcements simple even for someone without much technical experience. I also like that it supports many different apps and integrations, including Google Drive, Canva, YouTube, and social media feeds, which helps keep content fresh and organized

### "I made the right choice"

It's been a very positive experience. There's a bit of a learning curve -- as is the case with all new software. But honestly, I'm thrilled. Also, keep in mind, I'm 66 and just jumping into digital signage for the first time. So if I can do it, you can do it!

Pros

I seriously investigated most of the major players in the digital signage arena, and decided on OptiSigns. So far, it's been great. My only problem has been a weak WiFi signal (not OptiSigns fault), but OptiSigns' customer service told me how I could use the micro-SD card to store my files locally (right on the HDMI stick) to avoid this problem. That saved us having to call in a tech team to hardwire our 4K TV, or purchase additional WiFi boosters, or some other costly option. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm confident that I'll be able to do exceptional work with OptiSigns. BTW, I started off by looking at BrightSign, and got a personal tutorial from a user I know. But I believe our implementation with OptiSigns greatly exceeds how that user did his job -- and at a huge savings!!!

Cons

I haven't worked with OptiSigns enough to find a flaw yet. But their pricing, software, and customer support has all been great.

I will definitely continue to use OptiSigns for our cafe. Its sleek and easy to use system takes away the headache of changing our ever changing menu.

Pros

After fighting with other Screen Display Managers OptiSigns was a breathe of fresh air! Everything is quick and seamless to display our constantly changing cafe menu. I especially like the fact that I can use it on our POS, my phone and my laptop; so no matter where I am I can quickly change the sign if need be. Their customer support has always been quick to rectify any problems I may have. The recent software update has made it even easier to upload and edit my files. Definitely worth the money!

Cons

Before the software update it was a little tricky to get to the file edit place to change file names.
