The performance is second to none, and I still haven’t run into any technical issues. I am glad that I found OptiSigns and this is coming from someone who has tested dozens of other similar applications and seems like will stick with OptiSigns for a long time. I would like to commend and congratulate the OptiSigns Team for such a a unique application that just works! Pros From a price point perspective, it’s very affordable, and the functionality makes it worthwhile. I’m also consistently receiving upgrades and updates, and customer support is very active. The user interface is easy to learn, and it can easily be mastered even by users who are not very tech savy. Moreover, the AI integration brings a whole level of Communication and Messaging in the device management and playlist management. Cons I dont think there is anything that I would like to change or make better. Right now it is at the right place to be used comfortably for day to day tasks. We put off switching from the prior service we used and wished we would have just moved over a long time ago. Pros There are tons of options for displays and presentations, and they are all very user friendly- super easy to use. We especially like being able to show our social media pages along with our newest Google reviews. The display performance also stays consistently up to date- it doesn't lag or need to play catch up the way some of the other options we have tried in the past have. We haven't needed to reach out to support so far other than the demo we had, and the team was very friendly and helpful. Pricing is great for the value. We use it on an apple TV, and there are several other devices it is compatible with. Cons We have not had any issues using the service so far and have liked all of the features and integrations that are available. Pros OptiSigns solves the challenge of managing and scheduling content across 24+ locations on the University of Waterloo campus. This has significantly improved consistency and control over what is displayed across all of our menu boards. Cons The UX design in the Schedules tab could be updated so that the onboarding process is simpler to digest. An undo button would also allow for easy corrections when mistakes come up. As noted above, the hidden costs were frustrating, but apart from the occasional glitch, it runs smoothly day in and day out. April 7, 2026 5.0 We're incredibly happy with the experience we've had so far. Broadcasting messages to those coming into our offices and into our church has never been easier, and the people are much more likely to get the information they need. Pros OptiSigns makes displaying messages at our parish SO easy. The fact that we can run messages with no monthly fee, only the cost of the equipment, has been fantastic, and if need be we can always upgrade in the future to add more features. In an environment where the schedule is often changing, using digital signage really helps us to keep things current, and really catches people's eyes. Customer Support, while we've barely had to use it, has been incredibly quick and helpful. Cons Really, the only complaint I can think of is that there is a slight learning curve when it comes to using split-screen, etc. However, there are GREAT resources available in the help center explaining everything. From the simple setup process to the extensive capabilities provided I've been able to get our digital displays and signage running smoothly and reliably. It would be great if there was a bit more segmentation with the template offerings and more assisted design capabilities, but overall OptiSigns is a good value for the monney and works reliably. Pros I am very happy with OptiSigns across the board. It is super simple to implement and get screens up and running in minutes and runs very well and reliably. Other solutions I have used tended to encounter problems with content after periods of operation but OptiSigns just keeps working continuously. OptiSigns solved our need for a simple, scalable digital signage solution for internal communications. It has streamlined how we deliver messages and content across our facility while reducing IT workload. The platform feels modern, the customer support is responsive, and the ease of use makes it accessible for both technical and non-technical staff. I would absolutely recommend it to other organizations looking for a reliable and affordable signage solution. Pros OptiSigns was extremely easy to set up — we were able to unbox the displays and have them running within minutes with no formal training. The interface is intuitive and self-explanatory, and the centralized management dashboard makes updating and scheduling content effortless. The sales and pre-purchase process were also excellent — the team was responsive and helpful, even setting up Teams meetings to walk through our requirements. The OptiSigns team was very nice and responsive to help us get on our feet. I had the project dropped in my lap with no prior experience with these types of devices or software. I've taught myself what I needed over the years and we've really built a streamline process to deploy almost 30 devices in multiple states with OptiSigns. Pros We've been using OptiSigns at multiple locations (in multiple states) for the last few years now. The process is very simple, and we have deployed 27 Raspberry Pi 4b devices running the OptiSigns software. The best part is, aside from a few hardware failures (not OptiSign's fault), the software is turn key. Our Social Media department creates monthly slides and pushes them out without any issues. Cons A little more scripting flexibility. I have built our scripts and "build process" around how OptiSigns downloads and deploys their software. It's a little clunky and when OptiSigns makes changes it can take a few days to tweak our scripts to work. But with how often that happens it's not something that we worry about on our side. September 11, 2025 4.0 Overall I have really enjoyed the Optisigns product and offerings. I have even referred a few other businesses to using it. Pros Super easy install on out TCL / GoogleTV televisions. All we did was download the application, install it, pair it to the account and done. Doesn't get any easier. Super easy to manage the screens from the account as well. Cons The only con I think, and not sure it is really a con is I wish you could still use the free screens options along with a paid screen or two. It serves our needs and provides a reliable solution to alternating between slides and live feed. We're happy with OptiSigns! Pros OptiSigns was easy to get setup. I appreciate the scheduling feature and how easy it was to integrate a live feed into the schedule. I assumed our setup would be complex and difficult to setup but it was surprisingly easy. We run slideshows in our lobby until the cameras in our main room go live and broadcast to a web location. At that point, I wanted the camera to replace the slideshow in the lobby. Once the live feed ended, the slideshow will take back over. This back and forth was surprisingly easy to implement and has worked well! Another great feature is remotely managing all of our content. I can make a change on the web portal and see instant changes. There are other models that charge you extra if you want to view changes instantly, I appreciate the OptiSigns does not have this in their business model! Also, no bugs so far! Cons While it does have a lot of Pro's, there are a few possible downsides to OptiSigns. First off its pricing setup is pretty aggressive; charging per screen can add up quickly. However, there is a free option that has a ton of features but will include a watermark. Secondly, when integrating a video feed from a web link there is a fairly decent amount of delay - roughly 1-2 minutes. This isn't a deal breaker for us, but it is definitely not simulcast level. Even having difficulty with screen organization, dealing with customer support was straightforward and simple. They were able to solve my problem easily. Pros OptiSigns is an easy-to-use platform. There is so much versatility in the layout and design options, we can use our screens however we want. Community Manager Hospitality Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Great software with strong features and room to grow" January 30, 2026 5.0 I used the free version of OptiSign for a couple of weeks and really liked it. I’ve since signed up and now have it fully operational in my office lobby. It’s been a big hit. I like it, and my tenants do as well. Because of that, I’ve already ordered a second OptiSign stick to install in the community building at my apartment property, and I’m currently considering adding two more in the future. The software does have a bit of a learning curve at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s actually pretty easy to use. I’ve been combining OptiSign with ChatGPT to create custom templates and designs, which has worked extremely well. The only real issues I’ve run into involve some of the built-in feeds, such as Word of the Day. The initial splash screen displays for quite a long time, and I wish there were a way to shorten that so the content appears sooner. Also, I expected the feed to rotate to a new word each time, but it continues showing the same word every cycle, and it has done that since installation. I’ve also noticed a few minor quirks. For example, when previewing content, it doesn’t always behave exactly the same on the live screen. I have a design with a ticker at the bottom that scrolls perfectly in preview, but on the actual display it runs very slowly and never finishes the full message. That said, these are small issues compared to the overall value. I genuinely love this software, it looks great in our lobby, and it has been an excellent addition to our property. I’m excited to continue expanding my use of OptiSign moving forward. Pros I started using OptiSign with the free version and quickly decided to sign up. It’s now running in my office lobby and has been very well received by both staff and tenants. I liked it so much that I’ve already ordered a second stick for our community building and am considering adding more displays in the future. While there is a small learning curve, once you get the hang of it the software is easy to use and very flexible. I’m very happy with it and look forward to expanding our use even further. Now, I can handle everything directly from my computer, and the bulletin is sent straight to our TV, which has made the process much easier. It has been a game changer in our office. Pros I really appreciate the creative templates available on the site, as well as the option to design my own. Setting up our TV was a quick and easy process, which was especially important during the busy holiday season. Now, it plays content in our office every day. The Optisigns team also checks in to make sure everything is running smoothly, which I find helpful. Cons There isn't a way to format slideshow pictures, and I wish all the images would automatically fit the screen when I start a slideshow. February 9, 2026 5.0 Seamless user experience with little to no issues! I am a frequent user, and site administrator for our account, and I have yet to have a major issue! Pros I work in HR for a large manufacturing facility with three shifts, so we have many things to be communicated at all times. OptiSigns is incredibly easy to use, the functions are easily displayed and the UI is seamless. We can easily display certain content to each section of the plant (ie safety, HR related, production related) with no issues. Cons I have enjoyed all of my experiences so far. My only thing is sometimes when uploading pdfs or pngs, they don't fit the whole screen, and there's not a way to easily adjust view/scaling. Very minor issue!
