The platform is extremely user-friendly, and getting started was quick and straightforward. We were able to easily navigate through its features without the need for extensive training. Pros The platform is extremely easy to use, and getting started takes no time. We especially appreciate that files are instantly updated across all our devices. September 16, 2025 3.0 Overall, I'd say my experience is neutral. The product works well, but we've invested more than I would have liked in buying twice the number of equipment needed. Pros Easy to manage from the admin side, solved a problem for us and allowed us to share our digital signage in variety of locations with little trouble. Cons I didn't love the software requirements changing, we purchased firesticks for this program and then the firesticks stopped being compatible, forcing us to buy the optisigns stick instead. Besides that - it's awesome. Pros OptiSigns was super easy to set up. We just wanted one TV in our office to rotate stuff and I was able to get it setup in less than 10 minutes. Cons The free trial / one free screen thing is a little confusing. The one time I had to contact customer service because I accidentally created two profiles, they solved my problem within hours with great communication. Pros I love that I can edit my advertisements remotely on my phone or laptop and have them appear at my establishment instantly without having to physically be there. I noticed I was offline and could not reconnect. I opened a ticket and was contacted right away. \[sensitive content hidden\] was patient and helpful when assisting me over the phone to get back online. Pros I opened a ticket and Optisign responded right away when I had an issue with my connectivity. It was resolved in a timely manner and I am happy with the results. Creating and uploading your own assets is an easy and an enjoyable experience and there are hundreds of premade templates you can just modify. The system is familiar and intuitive and the price give you your money's worth and more. Pros Optisigns was easy to use with a clean interface and an intuitive system. There were plenty of professional and well designed premade templates and if you are used to creating/modifying designs on Canva, then you have pretty much mastered Optisigns. And if you haven't you will easily figure it out. Data mapping is also a huge plus since we have rates that change regularly. Cons If you have a heightened security network if might block it right away but it doesn't really tell you that it might be a firewall issue. My personal experience was, because it wouldn't connect to our network, the pairing code didn't show up at all. Depending on someone's level of familiarity with such issues, they might just think the device is defective. A warning message somewhere that indicates that issue would be extremely helpful. There is an article about whitelisting but you need to know what to look for and dig for it. Switched from [Enlighten](https://www.capterra.com/p/246079/Enlighten/) Designer is outdated and awful. I have the trial setup in a windows 11 PC to test out the features. My next goal is to buy one of their HDMI Sticks for a Samsung Display to give it a real world test. Pros I enjoy that they offer a trial period so you can make sure you can design your signage before having to buy whatever package you need. The support staff is great and knowledgeable about what I’m trying to do and gave me multiple ideas on how to accomplish my goal. Cons The only thing is the monthly or yearly fee’s, but doesn’t everyone want something for free! I do like they offer multiple tiers at different levels. In a 4-week test phase, we decided against other tools and in favour of Optisign because it was clearly ahead of the others thanks to its clarity, options and customisability. Pros Easy set-up and implementation and the list of supported Apps. Cons Costumisation is limited with Google Conntections. But I don't know whether this is due to optisign or Google. Eines mit Windows, das andere mit Android. Wir tauschten die Android-Box gegen den OptiSigns HDMI-Stick (Amazon 100 Euro). Auf dem Windows-Bildschirm nutzen wir die kostenlose Software. Alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Die monatlichen Kosten sind sehr fair. Das ursprünglich deutsche Unternehmen, das die Displays, die wir bei kleinanzeigen gekauft haben, herstellte, verlangte 600 Euro für eine neue Android-Box und deutlich höhere monatliche Kosten als OptiSigns. Eine verpasste Chance. OptiSigns war die schnellste und beste Lösung, um das System zum Laufen zu bringen. Pros Schnell nutzbar und preislich absolut fair. Support ebenfalls zu empfehlen.
