Owner Events Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "The Best Digital Signage Option" November 1, 2024 5.0 Pros Pretty much everything. I discovered to use for digital signage during an event, and setting everything up and connecting was as easy as walking. Plus, the price was very reasonable for the amount of screens that I needed for the timeframe of the event. Cons I have only been using for a couple of months as I prepare for the event. The only problem that I've experienced is that when I exit out of the app on my TV it will sometimes automatically start backup despite me disabling that function. Also the render for the Mac app stops responding a lot and uses a lot of battery power. Alternatives considered [TelemetryTV](https://www.capterra.com/p/182701/TelemetryTV/) Reason for choosing OptiSigns was easier to understand and the UI was better than TelemetryTV. October 24, 2024 5.0 We have been using OptiSign for our digital signage needs, and it has been a game changer! We are able to manage all company locations from its cloud-based system with minimal effort when needed. Whenever we add a new OptiSign to a location, installation is easy, and it is up and running within minutes Pros What I like most about OptiSign is how easy it is to use while still offering tons of great features. Creating and managing content is simple, even if you're not a design expert. The cloud-based control is a huge plus that I can update our signage in real time anywhere. Plus, the customization templates and integration options make it super versatile. It's the perfect mix of user-friendly and powerful! Cons Not really anything to be honest. Set up was a snap and managing our displays couldn't be easier. Plus, have peace of mind knowing that it's reliable and working everytime. Pros was so easy to set up and it works flawlessly. Unlike some other platforms, I can count on it to work exactly as it should, especially in locations where I can't be. I also love the ease of creating slides-there are tons of options and the platform works well. Cons My only issue is it didn 't work well on our Roku TV, however it performed wonderfully on all others. " August 28, 2024 1.0 Overall I was extremely pleased with the product and had no intention of changing until the back end of the company reared its ugly head. Watch your statements. Pros The digital signage function and all technical functions of the app work as intended and are at the same level as most free robust digital signage applications. Cons The company appears to have issues running invoices. The company ran without invoicing customers for 9 months. They then ran all those invoices immediately, attempting to charge customers for their mistake. Unfortunately I did not feel they would be good steward of my funds, and my company chose a more button up business to work with. I would avoid them until they are able to get these glaring billing and payment processing issues solved. Pros The ease of use and the fact that it works on various hardware options. You are not locked into a specific hardware device. We had another system and the hardware device was very expensive. Cons Not much to dislike about the System. Switched from [Microsoft PowerPoint](https://www.capterra.com/p/141633/PowerPoint/) We created powerpoint presentations with a ViewSonic digital signage hardware. The ViewSonic System with its specific hardware was very expensive. The devices would only last about 18 months before they needed to be replaced. Cons The set up for our project has taken a while, but I think that has more to do with our project than with in general. Install was extremely simple too! Cons The initial install was simple, but it took a bit of learning to navigate the console (even though it is pretty user friendly).
