July 12, 2024 5.0 has completely transformed the way that we communicate with our employees on daily basis. Moving to digital communication has allowed us to get important information out quickly to the entire facility. As a manager who uses the system on a daily basis, I appreciate how easy it is to create and modify templates. Not only can you build your slides from scratch, but there are a ton of fun features to bring the information to life. I like the functionality and ease of use. The software itself is affordable and going digital supports sustainability! We have been able to reduce our paper usage and eliminate having to print out informational flyers. I can't say enough great things about OptiSigns. VERY happy with this investment. Pros Easy to use, tons of template options, creative elements, fun way to bring information to life, affordable Cons The only issue we have found is that when adding creative elements, the slides get a bit glitchy. What's not to like? Cons It's a bit too USA focused for my liking. I understand this as that's their core market but they're missing a trick by remembering the 300m plus people in Europe need good signage solutions too. It was easy to setup to our smart TV's and we love how we can manage it all on a cohesive portal. Cons app was hard to get working. We even had to opt into using the browser instead. So I was asked again to research a solution, and I found in a search. Great reviews, great customer service, and they're just a few miles from my office! Pros Easy to understand, easy to work with, a solution that was EXACTLY what we needed, very nice people, responsive within 24 hours Cons Trying to save money, we bought a Roku stick, however, only the Android stick allows you to keep running your messages without rebooting the TV. The best part is the dashboard and asset builder. The templates and available app integrations make digital signage a breeze. Pros The dashboard is well-designed and simple to use. Even if someone isn't tech savvy, they would have no problem learning how to build multiple playlists. The app integration is far better than other competitors that I tested. Cons I wish the HDMI device didn't require a power outlet, but that is a small issue. Reason for choosing OptiSigns Monitors Anywhere was a little more expensive and their dashboard was not nearly as sleek and easy to use.
