Pros The two things I like most is that I can push my content from Canva, and that I can run things from an Amazon Firestick. Cons I wish all the website features were available in their app, however that's a perfect world scenario. Really wish they would add a preview option in the app! The cost could definitely start adding up for a church if you decide to push content in your classrooms as well. Being able to setup multiple playlists and schedules is a great feature. Cons I really don't have a complaint. The learning curve was short and I was up and running very quickly. I actually used the Microsoft Media Player which is not meant to be used as content management software but it was all I had to work when these screens were installed. I was hoping that the system would be setup with a DMP controller and controlled via the Stadium tech team. OptiSign allowed me to have the control that I needed immediately to run the content. Pastor Religious Institutions Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Cost effective solution for those seeking to get into Digital Signage" March 29, 2022 4.0 The ability to have a 7 day trial with full functionality, and what you get for a very reasonable price per screen, has made the overall experience great. Everything seems to work very well. When I reached out to support with a few questions, I received a personalized response in a timely manner. Pros We are a small organization looking to get into digital signage. After researching many different platforms, the price point made me choose Optisigns. The included features compare well with some of the more expensive options out there, and I love the fact that they give a discounted rate to not for profit organizations. They have a good variety of templates to get you started and many apps to include in your content creation. Using the website to create and schedule playlists and the ability to preview it immediately is very helpful and the whole process is intuitive. Cons It seems that it is not possible to create a custom template that can include different types of media on the same screen. For instance if you wish to have a newsfeed app on one third of the screen, and a logo or graphic on a different part, and a video on another part of the screen. This is something I saw you are able to do with one of the other providers and I thought it is a handy feature. I'm sure this is something that might be added by Optisigns later and it is definitely not a deal breaker for me. Additionally, the cost of this software per screen is very reasonable for the industry when compared to other solutions. I love the functionality of the software, especially the ability to link to (in real time) any Google Doc and have displayed on a screen. Need to update something, just open the Google Doc and update and it will automatically show on the screen. I am really loving this software and so does my co-workers. It has and will continue to make our lives easier in a ever changing complex environment like ours at the hospital. Cons I honestly don't have any complaints about the software. I am a avid administrator of MagicInfo and I can say this, that OptiSigns has really outdid themselves, this software rivals even the best of suites at a fraction of the cost. December 4, 2023 5.0 Pros I needed to find a simple software with the capability to display onto digital screens throughout the Museum. I had a hard time finding something within our small budget. OptiSigns came out on top in all categories, ease of use, nonprofit pricing, customer service, and more. The software is simple to learn and I can add a screen in just a few minutes. Also, adding a new asset is simple and if I want to upload something I created in a different program (like Adobe) OptiSigns makes it easy to do so. Cons The design software is a little clunky. But once you can play around it is easy to manage. So long as you understand Canva, anyone can do it. The scheduling a playlist is also a little confusing at first. You just have to experiment and you'll get the hang of it. It saved the time of our designers. It improved the efficiency. Most importantly our customers are happy with the way we are displaying our products. Pros This is one of the best software among the digital signages available in the market. Optisigns definitely saved most of our time in the menu display activities we do daily for the customers of our business. The features like remote display management, customizable templates, digital menu boards and multi-screen support are magnificent. We were able to update our changes within a span of seconds just by a mouse click. We can update the changes sitting in front of our system from anywhere in the world. The customizable templates are very useful as we can select our template based on our theme and do the changes very quickly. This saves a lot of time of our designers. Other interesting feature is the multi-screen support. This features enables us to break our complete menu in small chunks based on the category and display them in multiple screens in a most systematic and orderly manner. We started with a 15 minute demonstration. The next day we picked a plan and were building our first signs within 5 minutes. You can't beat the value. 1 new patient a month or 1 patient opting for a promotional service will make for an unmatched ROI vs other marketing tactics. Pros Our marketing team is fully remote and our dental practices are spread across a large geographic area, we needed a simple to use, update and maintain option for maximizing our waiting area televisions into powerful marketing tools. OptiSigns aligned with our needs for a simple to deploy solution that worked within existing marketing and operations systems. The ability to utilize the included content creator and templates along with other creative platforms such as Canva was a major selling point of OptiSigns versus their competition. No matter where our creative content is created it is easily organized into Files/Assets, Playlists and Schedules. These can be easily pushed to any connected device in real time. Utilizing smart TV’s Google App Store or Amazon App Store via a Fire stick makes hardware deployment across many locations as simple as downloading an app and entering the code that appears to sync the device to your OptiSigns account. It is easily to install, use and it's inexpensive for what you get. Cons The only issue we can found so far but we have been told it will be in a future update is the ability to add in your own fonts and color palettes. November 29, 2023 5.0 It has been an amazing experience! I got the android player HDMI stick. While it was being shipped to me, I set up my playlists on my account and assigned them to the respective devices. After I got the devices, I easily connected them via wifi at our locations and OptiSigns immediately downloaded the playlists and started playing them! Our directors are so happy to not have to worry about updating the slideshows and I'm super happy that the user interface is so simple and easy to use! Pros As a remote administrator, the functionality to be able to update our slideshows at multiple locations is extremely important. Before, I was having to send the new images and marketing materials to our directors on site. They kept having multiple issues update the USB and getting the slideshows to play correctly on the screens. Now, I can update all the screens remotely, they get updated instantly, and it takes less than 10 minutes. The hassle-free ease of using OptiSigns has saved me not only a lot of time, but multiple headaches as well. Cons So far the only downside has been that when I got the devices, 1 of them did not connect properly. I reached out to support and had it fixed within the hour. The customer service with OptiSigns has been one of the best experiences with customer service I've ever had! This is the second time they've solve a big issue for me extremely quickly. We are already big fans and are looking for other ways to use the product in our business! Pros The product is simple to use, comprehensive in it's feature offerings, and consolidates all of our signage operations into one easy-to-use cloud based program. With only 10 minutes of basic instruction I have been able to share so much information with employees. Additionally, we are an operation that has employees in multiple buildings, so being able to put out specific information to employees in each building is a blessing! Pros This is by far one of the easiest and simplest programs I have ever used. It took me only 10 minutes to learn the features and functions and I have been using it everyday since them. Employees love seeing information they can use in real-time, and it helps minimize the traffic to the HR department for common information that employees usually come to see us for. I love that I can incorporate slides that have QR codes that we use to direct employees to payroll and benefits vendors and enrollment sites. I love this program! Cons So far there isn't anything that I can say I like least. I know there are more features to use, and I cannot wait to be able to learn more and more features available on the platform. If you want to add a display to your business - definitely give this a try. Even if it's just to show local weather and custom signage. Pros The ease of use is great. The functions are straight forward and all the features are simple to navigate. Cons I wish there was a few more apps to choice from that were relevant to my business, and the customizing on the social media apps could have more functionality (ie. auto hide expired posts, layout and design options.) It allows you to set and schedule custom playlists for specific times of day on specific screens with relative ease, as well as having an overarching 'default' schedule that the screens will revert back to after a set time frame. Biggest benefits are the ability to schedule signs in advance, the ability to duplicate playlists based on a default template, and ease of use. Cons Some of the optisigns integrations are a little clunky, requiring you to have certain permissions, or providing a slightly limited range of options for the display. We actually have peeked the interest of our local school corp. they want a demo on the solutions and may implement it in their schools. Pros I love how easy it is to create content inside of the solution.. I had all of the stuff we handed out on paper created and displaying withing 2-3 hours.. and most of that was waiting on responses from ministry leaders to ensure the most recent data was available. Their integrations and display options of said integrations are amazing.. Gives our Facebook feed a whole new look and feel on our screen. The options for content and integrations with GIPHY is so fun. Cons I the cost was a little higher than we were hoping to spend on a solution, but in the end we are glad we took this first step. They have even added to our abilities by allowing us to play music on our menu screen which we couldn't do before Pros Coming from a different signage software, OptiSigns was easy to use and worked the way you wanted it to. Scheduling menus was a pain in our previous software, but OptiSigns makes this a breeze to use. The additional apps are a huge added value. The competition was charging extra on top of the subscription for some of the features that OptiSigns includes with the subscription. Cons Some of the templates didn't seem very helpful for our restaurant. The menu templates were stuck in 1080p but we are displaying on 4k displays.
