It allows us to show exactly what we need, and is very stable. The amount of time spent administrating it is negligible. Pros It is very easy to set up, and once we have it setup we almost never have to troubleshoot any issues. They have run for a few years now with minimal interfacing besides adding content. Cons I wish we could set the program to open automatically on powering up of the screen. After a while the teams would suggest to me some things I should add to it. Pros I can rearrange the look on TV regularly, I can create different looks for each office. Now I can do it quickly. Cons It took a learning curve and some things I learned by accident. Twice I contacted customer service for help and both times I got useless (to me) automated answers. December 1, 2023 5.0 I have had no issues other than the Zoom meeting feature not working. I have enjoyed being able to change and update screens across our organization all from my office. I have even been able to change things up by utilizing the mobile app, this comes in handy when I am away from a computer! The cost was a big factor in our decision to go with and with a small organization, the cost was right where we needed it. Pros Before we utilized , I was building a power point deck and saving it to a thumb drive that then had to deploy to each retail location. Now I can update and change information we want displayed whenever I want! Cons That the Zoom meeting app didn't work when we wanted to have an all employee meeting. One aspect of using I was excited about was the potential to have all employee meetings without having to try to get all locations to plug in laptops, etc. We had to figure out a different way to share the meeting and it took some time. We do not have MicroSoft teams. My other favorite part is that if you have a tv integrated with fire stick you can use that tv with . We use this daily, It shows us our reports and has bunch of cool integrations. Less design related options than i'd like and it seems like some features are hidden behind a paywall (like locking an image to the background). It's not 100% perfect, but we are happy with the results thus far. Pros The two most critical features and best features was to be able to update the displays from any device and location, and the 2nd to be able to deploy just as fast. Cons We mostly display still graphics, but we would have loved to display video content as well. Right now the video features are not as robust. I'm hoping that adding the ability to stream custom video content will be easier in the future. Optisign is so easy to use, gives plenty of templates and can accept uploads of graphics I've designed elsewhere. It's easy to manage from a computer. Whether I'm updating the assests, managing the schedule or introducing new playlists, it's a quicky and easy process that uploads and displays quickly. We signed up, ordered a couple of Fire TV sticks, and had our content set up on the platform so that it was ready to deploy as soon as the sticks arrived. We haven't had any problems with at all. Pros The system is easy to use. We have multiple screens, and we schedule content to display at select times. The ability to schedule content was important to us, and that functionality works very well and is easy to use. OptiSigns is also significantly less expensive than other systems I've used, and still has all the functionality of more expensive options. Cons Really nothing, it's extremely affordable and includes all the functionality we need. Very easy to use and I'm sure we are not using all the features to the best of our ability. Pros I love that I don't need hardware, just a smart TV. The thought of having to install the hardware made my head explode, with over 50 venues over 90 miles, the cost just kept adding up when I was looking at alternatives. I love that you can schedule, set to delete, and combine playlists into assets, and using the app makes it incredibly helpful to troubleshoot on the go. Cons Can't think of anything at the moment! I love being able to move devices to 'on-hold' during our off-season, then just turn them back on when we're ready. They offer TONS of functionality and some amazing templates. I recommend trying them out. The pricing is good for what you're getting. I'm sure there are other services, but once you figure out the nuances of Optisigns, the system is easy to use. Pros I love how easily I can post digital signage. There are a TON of templates to use, and it can be used with MS Office files and others. The ability to have different playlists on different screens all managed locally is a great help. Cons When I post an excel sheet, if you change the sheet, it doesn't seem to update the display for a long time (about an hour). My other complaint about the sheet, is that when it is displaying, the aspect ratio is not correct. I end up with two black bars (one on each side). I reached out to , and was told basically "We don't offer support for excel files" I'm not looking for support for the file, I was looking for support with the display, but alas, it doesn't seem like that support is helpful for that.
