Graphic Designer Graphic Design Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Great product for my clients" December 7, 2023 5.0 OptiSigns has really changed our workflow for internal communications and has been very easy to use. The team at OptiSigns has also been very helpful when we've reached out with questions. Pros OptiSigns allows me to create content and share on my clients many screens. I can easily make changes from my office in minutes and have it up on their screens seconds later. Cons Add on apps is good but most I don't find useful for myself, though I recognize others may. Would be nice to see some more creative add ons to use, but again, what they do have is good. The online design tool is "ok" I find it a little finicky to work with though and prefer to design offline and upload a JPG. Reason for choosing OptiSigns I had a FireTV stick so I was able to test it thoroughly and show proof of concept to the client. I feel I'm just scratching the surface of the functionality. I need to figure a few more things out and then I think I will get out of it what I hoped. Pros Can use any screen (we used the only available basic TV's in our territory) and gives us a modern edge and hopefully will maximize our business performance Cons A bit harder to find information and no opportunity to actually talk to a person. I had lots of questions and wanted a conversation. Got great email responses but they didn't replace the level of information I got from a conversation. This would have been helpful before I made my decision to go with opticians and would have made it a faster and easier decision Reason for choosing OptiSigns Price and quickness of responses - although still not a phone call. Any issues or help needed has always been dealt with fast and effectively - very friendly! Pros Easy to use once you know what you're doing - you can spend time every few months sorting the content and then forget about it rather than it being a daily task! Makes getting internal communications out easy and fast and looks very professional in our office space. Cons Sometimes can be fiddly to set up but once you have a system worked out for what works best for you this is quickly overcome. The switch to and management of the content is so easy with Optisigns. We really are HUGE fans Cons Honestly no down sides. It has added a nice POP to our call center. We have multiple TV's in both floors of the call center as well as the break room. It allows us to communicate urgent messages, KUDOS, fun, etc. easily and quickly. Pros I like that we can add lots of different playlists and have them setup in advance of what we want to communicate to our call center agents. It also allows us to celebrate team wins, Kudos and urgent messages quickly. Cons That it doesn't support all video types. Review Source Alex T. We have been able to have professional digital signage at a low cost. The setup and use is remarkably easy with very little training needed. Pros There are a lot of functions that make it easy to use and allows for a large format of files to be displayed. This is a fully scalable and customizable. December 4, 2023 5.0 Pros This platform is really easy to manage as 1 person. We have multiple screens for different departments and this makes it easy to schedule relevant content. When needed, support has responded quickly and helped me figure out how to fix an issue. We use this internally, so going offline is not as big of an issue as if we were using these for customers to see, but I do like that I can see right when I log in if a screen has gone offline somehow. Overall a great platform and reasonably priced. Cons Some websites require a login and I've found they often don't display on the TV as I'd like - portions get cut off or it's zoomed in weirdly. I'm not sure if it's our internet or if it's the connection, but our screens go offline pretty frequently, but again that is probably just an issue on our end. I've used them several times over the last few years, for several company boards, and they are always evolving and adding new features. Not just some static use tool which you will have to replace in a few years. It is not complicated to train managers to update their boards or how to use PowerPoint to create their own. Pros Easy to setup, easy to use, and brings in a lot of custom from showing digital signage. I've tried other platforms and this one is the best by far! Cons Price of more than one screen, I would love to be able to add more screens to incorporate around the bars but our budget does not cater for that. We have a number of different playlists for our team to view current infrastructure statistics and monitoring and see current network trends and maps with URLs and dashboards pointing from our infrastructure, network, and software monitoring systems. We also use OptiSigns to display a number of different SLA, wallboards, and other time statistics within our ticketing, support, and managerial systems. We also utilize some of the other features that other software suites did not have to display video and surveillance feeds at our premises and data centers. Cons We haven't observed any cons at the moment right now in our current environment - OptiSigns has been fulfilling our needs as they stand. Review Source JD Joao D. Pros The most important features that I saw so far were the ease of setup and the options that you have. We can manage a lot of televisions, set different announcements for each of them, and control them by location, area, and everything. It's pretty useful. IT Generalist Food Production Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "OptiSigns - Improving Employee Engagement Everyday" April 22, 2024 4.0 I have had a very pleasant time learning about the features OptiSigns offers. there are many articles to review and learn from that you can find in the knowledgebase; and the support team is quick in responding to your emails for help. Pros the digital signage grabs our employees attention much like a TV. this has improved our levels of engagement and reading up-to-date bulletins compared to when we used the typical paper bulletin board. Cons we have been having a difficult time with using content scheduling with the power off schedule to keep the TV off over the weekend. the TV would power on randomly at odd hours or not power down at all. ultimately we reverted back to the standard package and have employees physically turning the TV off at night. Really happy with how the installation has gone and the positive feedback I have received from my client and their customers that have seen the board. Pros The functionality to be able to create detailed schedules for slideshows and playlists. Also the templates, they have a very detailed list of types of templates that can be used to create your content. As a new user to this platform (as well as my client) it really enabled me to get through the entirety of the setup with minimal mistakes. Pros We run a small campground and use OptiSigns to communicate a variety of information to our guests. I really like the ease of changing the display, from anywhere. We are in the process of updating our 2 year old devices which is a bit of a bummer to have to do so soon but they are affordable so I can't complain too much. Pros I really like that I can manage all of our screens from my office machine. The set up was easy and everything just works when you get it set the way you want it. Cons I wish the content provided in the software had more options for education. I spend a lot of time creating thing to put on our displays. We did not previously have any digital signage and this has been a great addition to the plant (on an 86" LED screen) and people enjoy reading the fun facts of the day or seeing who's birthday it is. Pros OptiSigns has helped widely communicate upcoming company events and recognize employees as well as communicate any customer issues. The online system can be accessed from anywhere which aids in flexibility to do work from home if needed. Cons At first, some of the more challenging items like linking or embedding videos and getting them to autoplay was tough, but then I found some helpful online articles and Support chimed in within 24 hours to provide additional assistance.
