Before OptiSigns, we loaded playlists on USB drives and delivered them to each location on a weekly basis. Pros OptiSigns is easy to set up and manage. All administration is handled remotely from a web browser at any location. Images and videos can be uploaded and scheduled to play and expire on specific dates. Multiple playlists can be created to play on a single screen or multiple screens at multiple locations. Many apps are available which allow you to include social media feeds, reviews, local weather, etc. in your playlists. Cons Some of the apps are difficult to work with and/or don't work as expected. As a remote employee, I am able to set up content at our key facilities with automatic updates. With a previous software (not OptiSigns), this was a continual headache. Now, not only is the process smooth, I have received very positive feedback from our teams about the content and delivery through OptiSigns. Cons Occasionally we hit hurdles with permissions, such as to SharePoint or Monday.com, but this is because there is appropriate attention to security (which is positive and important). Reason for choosing OptiSigns Great reviews, demos, I was able to ask my specific questions about functionality and had satisfactory answers, integration with other apps we use. Cons I wish the schedule functionality was a bit easier to use, but it is still working for me. One use it intuitionally, easy to learn, nice and many apps to choose from to prepare different and interesting screens. Cons I've been using it only for few weeks and sinnce then I haven't noticed any bad sites of it. There are some quirks that could be ironed out but it doesn't hinder the functionality or use of Optisigns. So, therefore, I would definitely recommend Optisigns to other business owners needing to do multiscreen displays. Pros I like that I can utilize optisigns from wherever I am. Sometimes I need to do quick tasks while I'm away from the computer and the fact that I can change in-house displays from wherever I am, from my phone, is very helpful and has saved my to-do lists a few times. Cons I do not like how long it takes to add an asset to Optisigns. Sometimes assets will not stay uploaded in Optisigns and will disappear even after hitting "save now". Have some issues with it updating when I push and new screen, but I think the issue is with my Wi-Fi and not OptiSigns. Pros OptiSigns has been really easy to get started with. I like that they have several templates to use when designing a new layout. Also, having apps that are integrated with the system gave me ideas on how to get people looking at the sign. Cons No big cons at this point, other than it would be nice to have something available telling what size assets should be to fit different split screen options. We are able to share the most up to date info and not have to worry about lags in updating or issues with out of date info being up on our screens. The program provides incredible bang for your buck and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! Pros To say this software is amazing is an understatement. From the easy of scheduling to the playlist set up, sharing information on our screens has never been easier. Having time limit options and the ability to schedule content to run only certain parts of the day is exactly what we needed and the instant updating means I don't have to be running across our very large campus constantly. Pros We purchased both yodeck and OptiSigns to do a comparison and OptiSigns is our preferred option. Very user friendly and available support at all times! Cons We noticed that the more content we try to put on a playlist, the laggier it plays. Also the resolution becomes less clear. Reason for choosing OptiSigns Seems to be faster and easier to use. The ease of use is amazing and the plug and play has been a great help with setting up so many displays at once! Pros The layout of the "behind the scenes" is great and easy to navigate. Cons I wish there was more training available. I can see that there are so many different things you can add in to your playlists but would like to be able to watch training. Possibly training on simple playlists and then more complex training on the add ins. Not only that the price is reasonable and not over the top like other suppliers. Cons We has a few technical issues at the start but later found out this was due to a bug within Microsoft systems in the UK which has now been fixed. Pros It was an incredibly painless process, we got our entire main office with ~70 Displays swapped over to Optisigns in about an hour and a half, whereas other software would take us at least a full day to set up everything. Cons Not much to say here, if I could go into Web players or PowerBI tables and edit the view on them then this section would be blank. Cons Took me a few minutes to learn the program, but after I figured it out it was smooth sailing. Once you learn how to use it, it's super simple and it really elevates the rooms we have it in. Pros Ease of use and a sleek, professional aesthetic, Opti Signs has nailed the essentials. The combination of user-friendly design and a polished look has really elevated the overall experience for our clients. Our clients love taking photos with the tv and posting it on social media. Cons Navigating the website was tough at first, I had to self teach myself how to use it and it took a bit of time to learn how to use it. Once I learned how to use it, I had to teach other people how to use it and a lot of them struggled to learn it. Most of the people I taught to use it, gave up on it and now just one person uses it. Cons There seems to be a glitch within the site that causes the playlist to "bounce out" and default to the Firefox home page while the playlist is running. Sometimes it gets stuck on that homepage and sometimes it will bounce back to the playlist. In an effort to fix the issue, I have cleared both the cache and the data, but neither seem to help. I would definitely recommend to other churches or anyone who needs digital signage displayed. So easy to use and user friendly online! Pros I love how easy it is to use by either creating a piece of artwork yourself, or using their 1000's of templates which are amazing, and quickly sending to our TV's in a couple seconds. I use the scheduler religiously and it is a huge benefit as come of our church TV's come on and off based off the schedule. Cons I wish the iOS app for iPhone was a little more user friendly and quicker to use. Most of the time even with fast internet and 5G service, the wheel spins when loading content and switching things to push to screens. It works great, but takes a while to load. Wish this could be faster in a future update perhaps. Reason for choosing OptiSigns Ease of use and ability to offer more than other companies. The pricing was great because with churches they offer a non-profit pricing and taking a percentage off the total price for life. Other companies don't even do that. Review Source
