Pros Fast communication allows me to present information quickly. Integration with google software very helpful. Cons Interface using designer can be very sensitive. Can be difficult to line up and keep things symmetrical. They often move slightly when you click on them, and then won't go exactly back to where they were do to automatically lining up with other items on the page. With sites spread out over an entire county managing and updating from anywhere was key. The platforms playlists and templates make for easy drop and go updates possible and updating is a snap. Cons Cleaner integrations with third party programs like Google would be great but it still usable. We use a couple of different data locations to display our signage that cause a bit of awkwardness between screens. However, nothing is so bad that our users still prefer it over our old method. I piloted 4 solutions including Optisigns, and I'm glad I choose this product. Pros Optisigns solution is just so easy to use, and I can assign certain content to various people, without exposing other content to them. I really like that I can keep content local on my network and not in the cloud when I need to! Cons The only thing I wish the platform had was a way to view all screens at once in an administrative type console. I need to make sure all my screens are displaying the proper content, and to have a matix displays on a single screen I could put up in my office would make that verification much easier. The ease of using it remotely makes things a a lot easier. Pros We have been trying to find an app which we can use remotely and update our signs remotely. We tried few options but with the limited budget and resources we could not find a one that would be good for our company. This app really helps us to remotely update and use the technology from anywhere. Cons I find that using it on the phone is not as user friendly. Maybe if we could have more options or if we could use it as we use it on computer, it would have been perfect. December 1, 2023 5.0 I have been using it for over two years to schedule sales animations, graphics and include great content via the widgets so that our waiting room customers are informed and entertained. Pros I love the ability to upload content and schedule it to expire and auto delete. The tool has not let me down in two years of using it and it has given me the confidence that it will work when critical sales are scheduled and require deletion after they have passed. Cons I do believe the dashboard could be updated a little, however this is a catch 22. Often times updating results in a complete overhaul which ruins the ease of use of 'older style' dashboards like Optisigns; that that comment lightly. I have shown off the features to several businesses and clients and have recommended it. The set up was seamless and I was able to move from a demo set up to production tools in a matter of a day. Pros \- Reasonable tools for content creation - Able to preview published material - Very easy to connect securely to a target device (computer and TV screen) - Quick to update content - Remote tools work and allow management off-site, even on a laptop on the road Cons There are a few learning hiccups to the layout interface, but it's really pretty good. However I might revisit if/when the ai face detection is more fleshed out. Customer service was fantastic, I really felt like \[sensitive content hidden\] went above and beyond in helping me resolve my issues. Pros Ease of use, feature set, customer support Cons Coming from BrightSign editor, the kiosk editor felt like it was lacking. I was unable to figure out how to implement an attract loop(short video loop) with a button/link overlaid on it. The AI face detection was nice, however I was unsure of how valid the data was or how meaningful it was. Age detection would be better for my needs. Also the ability to stop a video when someone walked away would be nice, as well as logging where in the video they lost attention. We've been able to communicate with our employees through the digital signage, but there are a lot of minor software issues that make it difficult to use sometimes. The customer support is outstanding, so I appreciate that aspect. Pros I like being able to create split screens in order to have our slideshow and the weather on one screen. I also like being able to quickly add a new TV and connect it to an asset. Lastly, I like being able to schedule and automatically delete the slides. Cons I feel as though there are still several minor improvements to be made within the software. It's terribly difficult to increase the duration of certain slides, especially when you have several playlists. There are a lot of manual tasks I have to perform within the software. Cons Only thing i think it's a cons is not about the software but more about the Roku Company that not make sure we could use all the option available from Opt-Signs like app, facebook or other like weather. Nothing to complain about besides the new user invites. Pros Easy to setup. Can be used with common, inexpensive devices like Roku and Firestick. Cons New user email invites don't show up, or show up as spam. That was frustrating but we got around that be just manually adding users and emailing the password to the person. Reason for choosing OptiSigns Because we could use devices that we could quickly/inexpensively/easily procure locally. We have 6 screens that cycle through important news and updates as well as share highlights from our researchers and staff. Before OptiSigns, our admin were running around to each TV once a day and updating them manually with a USB. This meant updates could only be added 1x a day, and news wasn't being shared in a timely manner. OptiSigns saves us valuable time and allows us to communicate with our audience instantaneously. Pros Multi-screen capability, remote access, I love how accessible it is through a firestick. No need for a special tv. Cons Technical difficulties and no option to add closed captioning to videos.
