Best piece of technology we've added to our business to date!

Pros

The flexibility of the layout/design features, paired with the scheduling capabilities have simplified our entire day-to-day business and created more business through direct, in-person engagement. It also keeps our staff more knowledgeable about upcoming events.

Cons

The 'undo' button in the asset Designer still eliminates any border settings you've chosen until you close, re-open, and re-save the asset. It would also be nice if you could lock the position/dimensions of a text box

Reason for choosing OptiSigns

Affordable price, flexibility in design, and the ability to plan our content ahead of time, rather than updating the day's content each morning on our Samsung displays.

We are very content with and continue to recommend this system to many other Hilton Properties as it has made our communication much easier accross our hotel to connect with our team members and guests.

Pros

is very user friendly and can be used to make instant changes without any inconveniences and being away from the computer by using the app provided. It gives you the ability to create designs through Canva on the platform or simply download the docs. It also gives you the ability to have different content on different screens and can easily organize it.

Cons

Have not found anything wrong with as of yet.

Reason for choosing OptiSigns

The cost was the main factor and how the great customer service agents took the time to give us demos and trainings on how the system works made us feel much more comfortable moving forward.

I came across looking for digital signage players on Amazon. For $80, their pre-configured Android stick is a reasonable price to not have to worry about the minutiae of configuring an Android stick for digital signage. After playing around with the software, I decided to order the player and deploy a few screens in some of our locations. We hope to test this out for a few months and expand out to more locations over time.

Pros

Reasonably priced and easy to use. What took me hours to accomplish in other digital signage programs while having to pull in outside software like Photoshop and After Effects, I was able to do in minutes with Optisign.

Cons

The monthly subscription seems to be average among digital signage software, and the only cheaper one I know of is digitalsignage.com, but this software seems to be much easier to use. It would be nice to have more immediate control over the televisions and to be able to diagnose what's going on within the remote screen without physically looking at it. The controls that are in there should be sufficient, though.

We started using as a test un on a new digital display in our dining room. We liked both the price and the ease of use, as well as the quality of the display images so much that we have switched our digital menu displays (3) from our old digital display service to Optisigns.

Pros

is easy to setup and implement. Sharing media and content is made very easy with the management dashboard. The quality of the display image is great and everything works smoothly and seamlessly.

Cons

The only, and I mean ONLY thing that I find is laking with is digital menu application that makes it easy to update prices for menu items. Unfortunately as it is the menu has to be designed in an external application (like Photoshop) and converted to an image file and then uploaded as media. So, to change a price on one (or many) items requires a lot of work, but could be made much easier by using a menu app like one's available in other digital menu systems.

Price. Bottom line is the price of for multiple screens is far better than what we were paying, and the ease of use is comparable to ScreenCloud (though it's missing a Menu app like we used in ScreenCloud).

We have had for a month now at our Corporate location, and are having a lot of fun with it. We look forward to implementing at our various branches to streamline company updates.

Pros

Personalization and ease of use. We loved how easy it was to implement. Canva and giphy integration is fun. Freedom to upload our own designs or use templates.

Cons

Learning the differences between playlists and how to schedule the screens was challenging at first, there's definitely room for improvement in overall UX/UI and workflow.

Pros

I like the ease of use, deployment and installation

Cons

Customer support does take a bit to get back to you. It is not instant. But is there and they are very supportive.

Reason for choosing OptiSigns

I need it to use it with PC, Micro computers. So far it works, but is difficult , complex to keep up with. Windows computers love to update and reboot without notice and that generates many onsite tech visits to clients locations.

Great the best was when we switched from Roku device to FireTV devices.

Pros

Ablitliy to centraly managed all our stores digital signage. Before we use to have to put a USB key on each TV's time consuming and also prevented to always have up to date content.

Cons

Find it a bit expensive once you start to have multiple TV's

I like that there are multiple features for what can be put on slides and i dont have to design it all myself

Cons

the small photos when you are building a playlist and the app requirement for people not in an office with a screen yet.

The customer service has been great and responsive. The site is so easy to use and it makes regular updates throughout the day or week, easy.

Pros

Using has allowed us to share important information with employees by meeting them where they are.

Cons

The most difficult part has been the original set-up of the devices as well as when they go offline, since we are managing them remotely.

Pros

allows us to communicate outside in the real world environment. It's still a screen, but it doesn't demand our member attention.

Cons

Understanding screen resolutions and getting content to fit on multiple screens can be tedious or difficult to grasp for some of our office personnel.

Overall my experience is very good with and I would recomend it to others in similar posistions.

Pros

I like the fact that it can run on a browser in most of our VC equipment (Poly & Cisco) along with the fact you can simply install an app of a firestick and run it on PC monitors and TV's.

Cons

The fact that if a device logs out you need to delete and recreate the device rather than just logging it back in.

I needed a little help to get things started customer service agent - Davion - was more than helpful getting my problem solved.

Pros

I was surprised by how easy it was to figure out how to use OptiSings. I went from not knowing anything about it to fixing our hospital's issue within an 8-hour period. Ease of use and accessibility is paramount when you're in a demanding field like the veterinary industry.

Cons

I don't have many negative things to say about . I was fixing some problems that occurred with our Instagram integration. All it took was reinstalling the internal app.

We love so far! It is a self explanatory platform that has upped our employee communication to the next level! We are able to get new content and information to our employees quickly, and the ever-changing nature of the slideshow captures their interest much more than the old bulletin board we had been using previously.

Pros

The ease to set up the product and begin to add content was awesome! I didn't need any tutorials or instructions and was easily able to add 70 pages of varying content in a couple hours. There is also a lot of customization available to make your content what you need for your organization including timed slides, mixed playlists, templates, etc.

Cons

I might just be missing the feature, but I wish it would re-calibrate images or slides based on the best resolution. So if you put a picture in your slideshow that looks great on the computer screen, but is blurry when it is displayed on a large screen, I wish the software would re-size the image for best resolution and then just add a black border around the outside after it is scaled down.

We are installing the product to help our clients remain abreast of all of our current and upcoming events while in our facility. Thus far it is proving to be easy to maintain and very useful.

Pros

We are truly enjoying all of the features we have discovered, but the vast variety of templates is the largest "stand out" of the product so far. They really make it easy to set up!

Cons

The only negative we have encountered so far is playback performance for larger media like YouTube or FaceBook videos is a bit sluggish, but I believe that is more related to the Amazon Fire Stick's we are using as players, more than the product.

Reason for choosing OptiSigns

This product just works well and will be easy for us to maintain so we see no reason to look further.

Excellent! Even though our usage is very small compared to a large corporation the product works so well and is still cost effective for our needs. I can see how it would be even more useful for larger companies.

Pros

Ease of use. The product was easy to set up and configure right from the start. We were able to have it set up and working in no time. We continue to make use of additional features all the time.

Cons

I really don't have anything negative. If anything there are features I am not using yet but that is simply from not having time to learn about them.
