Such a helpful demo which explained everything fully and professionally, to the competitive pricing and the ease of use in executing the account set up, screen assignment and ultimately building our platform has been second to none. I would highly recommend OptiSigns. Pros The ability to build playlists and assets from your PC without having to fiddle with the screen or use complicated systems is ideal for us. Adding screens and content is a breeze and we are hopeful this solution will prove itself out over the long term. Pros We liked that it integrates seamlessly with the Samsung Digital Signage Displays as well as other brands of screens using the Amazon Fire Stick. This provides us with a hybrid solution to integrate with our existing screens. I also like the number of integrations with other apps provides. Cons The only issue we've run into so far is with the YouTube integration. The transitions don't currently work when playing multiple videos. I initially ordered an branded player, and a Raspberry Pi 4B, just to compare the two. I flashed a mini SD card with your RPi image and it worked flawlessly, and the branded player worked instantly out of the box as well. I set up our account with SSO, the docs on that were great. Pros It was easy to set up new screens both with Raspberry Pi and with the branded player hardware. I added in my co-workers and now they're off to the races and can manage the screens without needing assistance. Cons I had thought could provide check-in kiosk functionality as well. There seemed to be some functionality around check-in kiosk, but it was hard to figure out and the documentation was poor. Then it disappeared and I could no longer find it. So I went with a different product for digital receptionist functionality. Reason for choosing OptiSigns Yodeck doesn't seem as full-featured. Appspace is a lot more expensive for what we need. July 18, 2023 5.0 makes us look like a legitimate business, instead of my printed-on-paper menus just taped up. How sad! It makes a huge difference in our customers' experience. It's also very easy to make changes when I'm out of something, or add in a new item. And if I want to change everything completely? It's a breeze. I am really happy I picked OptiSigns for my digital menu solution. Pros I needed a digital menu solution and completely fits the bill. I am no graphic designer, so the templates gave me a great starting point. Designing is easy, and I really appreciate the little markers that pop up as you move your boxes around, to make sure your spacing is right. Making your own templates is really easy, too. I didn't personally do the set up on the Raspberry Pi that runs OptiSigns to our screen, but the guy who did it was impressed with the ease. Overall, this is an excellent option for small businesses to create great looking signage, on a budget. Cons After I created a template for my menus, any changes I made were applied to the template, instead of creating a new sign. I'm sure this was user error, but it was just too easy to make this mistake. Reason for choosing OptiSigns Ease of use, an excellent free trial, and cost when I decided to purchase. November 3, 2023 5.0 has been great to work with. We have had no major issues thus far. Pros is very convenient and easy to operate. I like that I can view all monitors at any time to see if they are working properly and what they are showing. Cons The only complaint I have at the moment is setting the time on each individual image. It defaults to 10 seconds. When I edit the time the image disappears sometimes or the time does not change. Also, you have to change each individual image time. I would like a "select all" feature. Switched from [BrightSide](https://www.capterra.com/p/168870/BrightSide/) I used BrightSign previously. Most of what we do is informational slides featuring school events & happenings around campus, and Optisigns has served us well. Pros We love the ease of designing templates or uploading playlists. We have multiple screens around campus and it's so easy and convenient to remotely update playlists and add slides. Cons We have had problems with scheduling (we schedule it in the program but then it doesn't play during those times) and keeping screens playing throughout the day. It was simple to set up, and gives visitors something to look at while they're waiting. We use it in a pretty basic way, and it works for what we needed. Pros It has several options for layout and content, pretty easy to set up, not expensive. Cons Options are a little limited for content (but given the price and ease of use, it's perfectly adequate!). We manage over 25 screens in 7 different cities near flawlessly. We occasionally have issues with our screens, but it's always hardware related. I've never run into an issue with not doing what it's supposed to do and I've been using it for well over a year now. Pros I'm most impressed with the ease of use of the app. Knowing little-to-nothing about setting up digital signage, I was able to figure it out very quickly and deploy to over 20 devices in a jiffy. The tools are intuitive and I've almost never run into a bug when setting up a device or uploading assets. Cons If I had to pick something I guess I'm not a massive fan of how you add new assets. When you click the "snowman" menu on an asset you have to scroll through a very long list of options, and frequently it runs off the screen. I feel like some nested menus would help here, perhaps? We have a member who works remotely who is able to update our signage easily on the website. Pros As one of the lead creative team members, the accessibility and ease of use for the program has made it a breeze to not only update signage around the building, but to even create slides in the application. Being able to control where things play in the building, and having designated playlists to help partition content has been tremendous. Cons Small technical issues with video content (but we are finding resolution to these issues). And timing syncs between players, but again this is an issue we are finding resolution to, and may be a result of the Bright Sign players that we elected to use. Editing assets is instant and very smooth. Cons I haven't experienced any negative points so far. The only thing I'm less trusted with at the moment is the playlist scheduling part.
