Cons The preconfigured sticks could be better at capturing WI-FI signals and a little more sturdy. We had already evaluated a few other signage solutions but stumbled on Opti and decided to try it. I was left impressed with the simplicity, features, and competitive pricing compared to the other solutions we tested. Also it works with Fire TV's and android TVs so you are not forced to purchase additional equipment if you have a compatible TV already. Pros Really enjoy this digital signage solution so far. Competitively priced compared to peers and does not lack in features. Was super simple to set up and start creating screens and playlists. We plan to roll this out among our locations after finishing the testing period. Cons If there's too many elements on one screen, the screen can lag a bit. I'm sure this also depends on device being used. This was not a big concern as it took a lot of elements on a single slide before it became sluggish. It is easy to register and get started, easy to link a monitor, and easy to add new displays at any time. This product makes multi-screen and location upkeep very easy. Pros is easy to set up and very user-friendly. Cons I wish there was an option to share social media posts easily to , for example, through Hootsuite. I used to have to go in and schedule each one independently before . OptiSigns is so easy to use and is saving me a ton of time! Also being able to tell whether or not a display is online is huge. Before I'd have to ask if a display was working or find out myself, only to hear oh yeah it's been blank for days. So far the platform has been really user-friendly. The Instagram app started functioning strangely - delivering old Instagram posts. When I went into the advanced tab to limit the selection of posts to the past few days, it delivered a blank screen. I have had to add and remove screens in the portal and it was pretty easy to make changes to my subscriptions. I can remotely update the content for various theme days with ease. Pros I am using the application in a retirement home to keep my father on schedule. It has been setup to notify him of what various activities are in the home. The best thing is the easy to use and repeatable schedule. The content is also very easy to setup with some guidance from the templates. Cons No ability to run a test sign. It would be nice to have a demo or test unit that I can run content to without paying for another license. Reason for choosing OptiSigns Cost and the way that the schedule is being built. We had no clue how to stream our menus to the TVs and someone in a forum recomended opti signs. I set up the product and have been using it daily with out issue for 5 months and it has been one thing that has been so reliable and I am so glad we found this product. Pros Opti signs is super reliable, and easy to use, which is so critical for my company as I have to teach my team how to use this product Cons I don't have much to say here, It is aq good product that does what is described.
