We use it to display production charts and KPIs on the breakroom tv's at the production plants. It's a great way to spread information and keep employees informed. I loved how well the software integrated with our O365 environment, making it easy to display live information from the source file stored in the cloud. Cons There isn't much to complain about in terms of dislikes. I've watched the OptiSigns platform continue to develop and roll out new features. However, here are some areas that could be improved: User/Access Management - I've had some struggles with access provisioning and assigner user roles that conform to what is needed. Remote Management/auto-reboot: our devices frequently become disconnected from WiFi, and when that happens, they need to manually be rebooted. Buffering Issues: We display data-heavy PowerBI charts that buffer for ~30 seconds before being displayed. I wish I could better control how often these assets are checking for the latest data and when it could use a cached version of the report. Review Source MQ Michaela Q. We can have a rotation of videos of all of our products and adds and not have to think about it. Also saved a lot of trees by not printing anymore. Cons The app on our TVs glitch. Cons It would be nice to know when we purchased the individual devices for our screens that each would require it's own subscription to utilize the full functionality. We did not discover the subscription fees until we were well into the installation process. We are still trying to make sure the subscription cost is going to work for our budget and this could have been avoided if we were able to choose our subscription threshold at the time of purchase. Works well with our existing equipment (Mac minis + consumer-grade TVs). Very straightforward to set up multiple accounts for different members of the team to be able to edit playlists. Is very good value for money if you're looking for a simple digital signage option. Cons The process for adding content, editing and scheduling playlists could be simpler and perhaps more intuitive. Can be a little confusing for team members who don't use the system often to make changes to signage. Pros I used a competitors products and it was glitchy, didn't update instantly, took a long time to upload new content, and the installed features looked very basic. Optisigns blows them out of the water for the same price! With the non-profit discount, it's even better! Cons I've liked everything so far. I am pleased with OptiSigns. Pros I often display welcome signs, office announcements, or other displays in the front lobby area. So far, my experience with OptiSigns has been great. It is easy to use, and I love the integrated apps, such as Canva, that I use often and can easily link with this service. Cons The interface can be more user-friendly. They like that they feel in the know about upcoming events and I like that I don't have to hang a bunch of posters and remember to take them down. OptiSigns has improved communication throughout our company immensely. Pros We started using OptiSigns for communication throughout our company for our holiday party last year and we love it! It was so nice to be able to put information on the screen and not have to print posters or talk to everyone individually. Especially during Covid, it's been great to relay information through the screens. There are a zillion templates or you can create your own. You can even add video and sound. The playlists are easy to create and control. We looked at a couple products and OptiSigns was the most user friendly and fit inside our budget! Cons The only thing that I could criticize would be the aligning features. I haven't found a good way to get everything to snap into alignment with other things. Also, like taking advantage of multimedia support. Cons I have some locations where I'm challenged by a longer then desired blank screen between image/video changes. Great product, and when we reached support, they were incredibly understanding and helpful. Pros I love the ability to just drop in an asset and there's no delay in it being added to our signage. The ability to have rss feeds on as well makes it incredibly convenient. Cons This was fixed eventually, but it's still worth noting. I reached out to support and it wasn't until I reached out a separate time that we received a response. " December 14, 2023 5.0 Pros I have love the fact that Optisigns is easy to use, I can see if the screens are online or offline, and proof of play. Within the first few days of implementation, we got positive feedback from our donors. They not only loved the display but the creative way we were thanking them in all of our YMCA Centers. Cons I like that it connects to canva, but there are limitations with that integration. I thought that I could design a template that is portrait mode, but I cannot. I would love for that update to happen. Now, I just design my content and then upload it. Pros I like that the interface is very intuitive and easy to use. We tried another digital signage product prior to Optisigns and it was very clunky, links didn't work and it was difficult to use and set up. Optisigns was a breeze to set up. Cons I'd like for their to be a live chat option for customer service. It's a little frustrating waiting 24 hours for a response and when you reply to that person, another 24 hours for their reply. Reason for choosing OptiSigns It was more affordable, but the biggest factor was ease of use, it was much easier to use. Switched from [truDigital](https://www.capterra.com/p/133995/truDigital-Signage/) Tru Digital was difficult to set up, the screens were not intuitive, none of the links worked for tutorials or training, it wouldn't interface properly with monday.com, their customer support was really lacking.
