The ease of use, ease of change and modification and price are very good. Cons The point where videos are not displayed properly when incorporated. Animations do not display well when template slides are used; from an iPad, the image output to the screen is a size smaller. This is a technical issue and will be improved, but it was stressful. The HDMI stick has been reliable, the portal is easy to use and train new employees on, and the playlists make seasonal changes simple. Pros We were looking for a way to play slideshows in our employee breakroom, and hooking a computer up to a TV was a very expensive solution and required physical interaction to make updates. That is, until we found OptiSigns! The ease of the remote portal that allows multiple users access makes management a breeze, and it has worked without issue since the day we installed it! Pros OptiSigns makes it easy to display any type of content. We currently share a daily menu, schedule, and facility information on our screens. Cons It can be hard to figure out the scheduling when having more complex schedules. Switched from [ScreenCloud](https://www.capterra.com/p/147087/ScreenCloud/) OptiSigns was cheaper and allowed us to have more flexibility and doesn't crash near as often as ScreenCloud does. It helps to pull our office together and adds a level of sophistication and creativity. CEO Restaurants Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "An Okay Option but wished for more" May 15, 2024 3.0 A new and funky experience probably would leave it other professionals to create menus and upload them Pros The ability to place apps on the screen the Kiosk, and the screen builder that pushes directly to the screens. Cons the Screen Builder is buggy and annoying to work with, it's very similar to Canva in terms of functionality, actually like a deep fake clone of Canva Builder. One other thing THE LOCK ELEMENTS functionality is a feature that is only available to higher tier subscriptions, which I believe is a terrible decision. March 18, 2024 5.0 Great to have, easy to use, affordable compared to others, and allowed us the functionality we desperately needed. Game changer in many ways for our business. Pros OptiSigns was a great solution for our race track and event venue. It was easy to set up at each display and keeping our menus updated at each concession is so easy now that I’m able to manage each one from my office. Cons As a graphic designer I was hoping there would be more design options or the opportunity to connect with adobe programs so I could make these menus look amazing compared to the stock templates. At the beginning i had a few questions and the support team was quick to answer and help. Also, i like the fact that it is so easy to use. Pros What I like most is that it is easy to use. Without having any knowledge in this field, I was able to set up a playlist and have a display that look professional in a matter of minutes. Cons I honestly can not thing of any cons at the moment. Despite owning smart TVs, I was disappointed to find that I still needed to purchase these external devices to ensure smooth operation of Optisign. This system allows for playlist for different monitors/areas and I'm able to display relevant information in all areas of our business. Also, ease of use! In my absence, even the least tech savvy person could figure out how to work displays. Cons This system didn't seem to have much that I didn't like. If there was anything I could wish for it would be folders to place content after usage. I'd like to be able to create folders that would enable me to recycle content if I don't have anything new. If you can’t keep me as a customer for longer period and take a discount on your device, then I am not that important a customer to you. Cons The video support for digital screens is not great, most of ours do not play. When discussing with support they spoke about a 'toggle we had changed' that we had never seen before.
