It's very much a program you can set and forget. If you do want to switch things up and make updates, it's very easy and updates in real time. Pros I love that is easy to use and navigate. I appreciate how customizable it is, and there are widgets an options for everything. It's a surprisingly great value for how affordable it is. Cons There were a couple features that took some trial and error to figure out. I tried to connect data from a google sheet (which to be fair was a decent amount of data) and it took a while to get the formatted done correctly. However, once you figure it out, it's easy to do! While there are some minor challenges such as setup costs and a bit of a learning curve, the benefits far outweigh them. It was slow, inefficient, and got complicated when changes had to be made to graphics or copy. Now that our Institute has access to OptiSigns, we're able to push and schedule content for our screens quickly and easily, review it all within the OptiSigns system, and make changes easily. Pros We use as a research institute within a large university. It's been so easy to give access to various employees and interns so they can push content out to our screens without annoying back and forth emails. It also makes it simple to update and add content when we have a last minute opening for an event coming up. Excited to dive into the more complex features as we grow! The ability to show multiple graphics in a sequence and pull from other sources like the weather or ESPN makes things more interesting. Pros The ease and ability to upload and schedule timely posts to address people walking by the tv screen at any moment's notice Cons i dont really fully understand how to use the templates section to be able to save, arrange, export on the desktop page. It is by far the best service for this case I've used. Pros I really liked how simple it was to implement with our Apple TVs, and how simple the interface is to setup your slides. Cons We really wanted it to be a setup once option, needing no hands on maintenance. The App occasionally freezes, requiring an Apple TV reboot to resolve. Cons I don't like the hard-to-use interface and specifically how when uploading a new media file into a folder, it automatically starts playing it. If you are running a business like let's say a restaurant, you can very easily display your menu on screens Cons Could have more integrations with dashboarding apps. My usecase required realtime presentation of dashboards. The tool lacked possibilities to easily integrate with dashboarding tools.
