The set up was easy with a Fire Stick and then it only took me minutes to create and upload a sign. Pros I like the fact that I can replace all of the hardcopy signs we have posted everywhere in the laundromat with one digital sign. It is easy to change and add to. It has already been a benefit to both the company and the customers. Cons There is nothing that I do not like about the product. OptiSigns was the first that could use inexpensive. Amazon TV sticks, while being easy to implement and use. Cons Monthly fee for each Display, but still very reasonable. Highly recommended! Pros I really like to easy-to-use back end of OptiSigns. Meaning I can upload any content I want to show, add to a playlist, then add it to a tv and its shows up digitally. Cons The least part I don't like about OptiSigns is the way the playlists get "attached" to the individual tv systems. I had a hard time looking for the drop-down menu to the playlists to add it to a certain tv to display on. Reason for choosing OptiSigns I was looking into other apps that could upload content to a tv but by downloading the content then somehow coming up with a way to view it once on the tv. With OptiSigns, it takes the guess work, really all the work out of uploading content to a tv to view. The only thing I had to do was download the app on the tv. Super easy! Also, we purchased three Hisense TV's that were recommended as "ready to use" with OptiSigns, and two of the three are constantly having display issues with Playlist or scrolling text. Pros We are planning to use this platform in our assisted living homes to communicate with staff and families. I love how we can change the signage without actually having to be there. We used to use paper signs, but not anymore! We can adjust things on the fly without having to print documents each time. Cons The one thing i didn't like is that my Canva video didn't autoplay...you can play a video if you upload the file, but i want to be able to have it autoplay the canva video so i can adjust it on the fly and not have to download/upload a new file. Pros The image quality is far superior to the other products I tested out, and the whole process is very simple, easy to use, and takes very little time (which is important when you wear many hats). I highly recommend this product. Cons I would have liked it if the free trial was a smidge longer but overall I have no complaints.
