You can simply change anything you want on these TV. We use them in our office to show chart and live info. Cons The price could be a little bit less because we don't use everything. Pros Having OptiSigns was great for our office as we uploaded a Power Point presentation and had the Widgets to have weather and Instagram on there at the same time! Pros Love how you can make updates to the playlist and it updates all the screens allowing us to communicate to a larger internal/external audience Cons I haven't used it to the fullest, but I'd like to learn to incorporate sound. Llevo menos de una semana practicando con Optising, preparando una campaña para un ayuntamiento de menos de 5.000 habitantes que quiere trasladar información a sus habitantes con pantallas instaladas en los dos centros de salud existentes en el municipio. El resultado está superando las expectativas. Me ha resultado sencillo editar las zonas de la pantalla para ofrecer diferentes informaciones. Son muy fáciles de integrar tanto las imágenes que ya utilizamos para otras campañas y soportes, como vincular los vídeos de Youtube. La actualización de la lista de reproducción (playlist) es realmente sencilla y ágil. Y el poder sincronizar la misma con dos pantallas un punto a su favor, cuando no resulta necesario enviar mensajes diferentes a las dos pantallas que estamos usando. La sencillez para programar la caducidad de algunas imágenes es otro punto a su favor. Pros Me ha sorprendido su versatilidad, sencillez y posibilidad de preparar una campaña en pocos días. He trabajado con otros programas similares, mucho más difíciles de actualizar, que requieren muchos más paso. Cons No podemos utilizar la app de Facebook. En la presentación de Optisigns no se respetan los puntos y aparte. Presenta todo el mensaje como un solo párrafo y esto resta calidad a los mensajes, es un aspecto que debe mejorar Optisigns. Works natively on a variety of TVs and sticks (Android/Fire Sticks, etc.) Cons Pre-configured Android sticks are kind of cheap and have flashing issues with certain models of Samsung TVs / power settings. February 21, 2024 5.0 I can't believe I was creating posters on Word and posting them because no one would read them. I will never go back to paper signs, OptiSigns is the way to go! Pros What I liked most was the ability to post newsletters using bright, eye-catching, colorful, and moving signs. We have TVs throughout our business that use OptiSigns. We use it to display important messages to our employees like "Approve your timecard" or during covid "Stay 6 feet apart" but also fun messages like "Free Lunch for Employee Appreciation Day". They are being read because I can be creative with the signs to catch my reader's attention. Cons The site was a little confusing to begin with in regards to adding users and giving them the right access, but after a little trial and error, it was like riding a bike! Pros The number of features we will realistically use is very high for the cost of the service. We can easily add content from anywhere that has an internet connection. One of our main uses for digital signage is through the data mapping feature. It is relatively easy to link to a Google Sheets document that is updated several times per day, which allows our staff to locate information that is specifically important to them. Cons Creating content on the software platform is a little clunky, but once you get used to how it operates, it is a little easier. I was promised a discount with my ongoing commitment with instructions on how to apply for it via email. I followed everything they asked and got NO response and was billed full price. I asked why the discount was not applied and got no response so I canceled the service and then I got a response why I was canceling and what they could do better going forward. I simply replied "honor your agreements" I didn't receive any apologize or any attempt to fix the situation or retain me as a customer. They quite clearly left an impression of "we don't care" whit me. I have since found a better service with another provider. Pros Easy for users that are new to digital signage. Has all the basic elements you might need but lacks for advanced features. If you require prompt customer support for your project, you will not find it here. Cons no online support. very basic, small set of modules that are not customizable. No cancellation option, had to go through web form and email that took several days. Reason for choosing OptiSigns Was testing their service. Again, I so appreciate being able to remotely manage my screens and make changes to signage last-minute/after hours/from home. Other than some minor glitches here and there, it has been a great tool for us. Pros I love being able to manage my signs remotely and I like how well it interfaces with files on my computer, as well as the more "live" options like social media and weather feeds. Cons I still have not been able to figure out how to successfully schedule a campaign. Additionally, sometimes a screen goes offline and there is no notification. Working remotely means I'm not there to see the digital signage, so when there are mistakes I often only find out about them after the fact. Also sometimes it takes several tries to upload a file correctly, and I do not know why. Review Source
