Pros was SO easy to set up-I just bought the right TV and the app was right there! Setup only took about 5 minutes. This type of project is not my main job function, so I needed to get it set up quickly and efficiently. Cons I wish there was a way to put an end date on an element in a playlist-this would require less monitoring to remove expired information. Native app on Android TV also. Cons Would like to see an official streaming audio partner with a more robust app/addon/plugin - Pandora, Cloud Cover, Pandora etc. Current audio stream arrangement is not stable on a BrightSign (but works OK on Android TV), but limited options. I needed help with something when I first was using it and the customer service team got back with me immediately and resolved my issues, which was totally user error. Pros I love that I can change what is displaying on our TV's anywhere and anytime. I had tried a few other softwares and I actually read about in a negative review of one of the products I had tried before! As soon as I opened the app and started messing with it, I was able to have our TVs up and running with the information we needed displayed. My favorite feature is all of the apps that are provided and even a covid-19 folder with a lot of information to display for our employees. Cons I wish there were more apps because I absolutely love them! That really isn't a con, just a wish. I was an old school guy and would provide my clients with a USB stick and they would manually edit their menus anytime there's a change Instead using Optisigns I am able to change my clients signage from the comfort of my own office without any troubles. Really, minutes not hours you can be up and running. Most options have a preview function which makes it super clear on what a change will look like. The Chrome desktop app works perfectly! The software also runs fast on less powerful hardware. Cons If I had to pick one thing that I liked least about is that it took me too long to find and switch to the product, we need to spread the word about this great software! We've only had it for a couple weeks and the residents have really enjoyed the content we are able to share with them. Pros Our residents were getting frustrated with changes to the menu and activity schedule without advanced warning. makes it very easy to update the information so they are always aware when changes occur. The templates are easy to manipulate to include relevant content. The residents love the eye appeal. Cons Figuring out the scheduling was a little tricky, but once I figured it out I love it.
