We have two screens in our office and want to have a good mix of organic content (that we create) and other content we pull from our social sites, weather feeds and news channels.

Pros

The whole platform is priced really well for a small business. It was easy to set up the hardware player, I used the Amazon Fire stick they have very good instructions on the OptSigns website as to how to configure it properly. Uploading assets and creating the playlist was also super easy.

Cons

Nothing that I can think of - the whole UX has been great to date.

Screenly was getting more and more expensive and you could not download your assets once they were uploaded to their cloud servers - which was a huge downside because we had over 200 assets that we had created over the years and I could not retrieve them.

Pros

I love the versatility to add elements that are specific to our office and industry, as well as the ability to change up our display at any time.

Cons

It's not as intuitive to use as I think it could be.

Glad that we found this in the internet. For the moment and for our needs it seems to be perfect.

Pros

It's very easy to start with , also if you know really nothing about Digital Synage. Perfect for beginners and very suitable to little companies, for example us as a little bar / restaurant.

Cons

Software is clear and easy and everything is self expaining. One or two questions were answered by the support very clear and quickly. It took two hours to start the free trial with two players to check if this is a good solution for our restaurant / Bar.

I've had no issues with . I've been thankful I haven't needed to call anyone because the product was easy to use.

Pros

I loved how intuitive the software was to use. Within minutes I was able to display what I wanted on our digital screen.

Cons

I love all the widgets that you can add. Once you edit something I would love to be able to go back in and edit the same file, but it does make you start over again.

I am using in my restaurant to display my menu and signage. It is helping me upsell and advertise some products as well as just having some news and weather information.

Pros

I like how it was very easy to setup and use. I had it up and running within 10 minutes of unboxing it.

Cons

So far i really do not have anything to complain about. I'm sure there may be some things down the line that I will notice but for now I have no complaints.

The overall experience can be related to this survey and how to turn it in. Multiple steps take a little too much time and seem redundant and pointless. This product is frustrating to use, and the design features are not up to par. I tell everyone NOT to use this product.

Pros

There is nothing I like about . This product is clunky and not easy to use. The design features are horrible and I hate making anything using the features available.

Cons

Again, this product is clunky, and the design features are very limited. I do not enjoy using this product.

The first time we attempted to use the software, I had sent in an email to their support email and never received a response, and that pushed me away from the system. However, the value proposition and the overall functionality caused us to return. Have not yet tried the support email again.

Pros

The product is very easy to deploy (we are using Fire sticks and also deployed it to built-in web browsers on smart TVs). The ability to use it in the built-in web browser was a nice way to test drive the functionality. Comprehensive functionality that is in line with other products that we tested, and therefore the value for money is hard to beat.

Cons

The split-screen/zones functionality was a little non-intuitive but nonetheless, we were able to get it up and running in just a few minutes thanks to built-in support. What we would have liked to see is a better way to edit/update uploaded assets. Having to simply replace them is not ideal from an end-user perspective, but I believe I've only seen this on one comparable system.

Price - most features were similar.

Management of 100+ screens at franchises across the country, showing base content across all stores, but also content that varies by region, store, dates, etc.

Pros

Deployment, playlist building, layout building, and content scheduling are all incredibly easy. In testing I would think "can I do this in to replicate what I've created elsewhere?" and the answer was always YES and it was dead simple.I'm impressed with the number of integrations with other apps and have been having fun playing with that in the office to test the features, even though our use is just simple premade slideshows on a screen.

Cons

Folder management and moving files around in the structure, can't seem to move things back to base folder after putting in a lower folder. Can't scroll on the Playlists screen once the list of playlists goes over 20.

overall I really like this setup. my computer skills are not the greatest, but I am able to quickly and fairly easily get the information to the plant that I need to.

Pros

the set up was easy with a lot of templates to use. I like that I can easily relay the days production to the shop.

Cons

I think there needs to be templates that just have a nice background that will allow me to type a message over that back ground like if typing a word document. maybe they are there and I haven't found them yet. this would probably be my user error.

I have tried others, but is great. Works with just about every player platform out there and the only issues I've had with the two I'm using is down to the platforms themselves (Linux & Android TV). Also more user friendly than the others.

I liked the easy installation on my roku tv and on the amazon firs tv. It does what it promises to do and shows the screens that I need to show when i need to show them.

Overall my experience has been great. If it wasn't for the issue of display going offline occasionally this would be an amazing product.

Pros

I work for a chain of hotels and use in our lobbies. It's great for me that I can update all these different locations remotely. Very easy to upload images and videos and create playlists.

Cons

The only con I have which is somewhat of an important one is that the signs tend to go office somewhat regularly. This may be because I am using a Roku device to stream the media and not using their in house option or the preferred Amazon Firestick. Not a major problem but very much a nuisance especially when I am not physically close to reset the displays.

We wrested with another product for about a year with horrible support. We switched to and from day 1 it performed hundreds of times better than the previous platform. Pricing was much better with OptiSigns too.

Pros

So easy to use and intuitive on where to go.

Cons

I’ve not found anything that I do not like.
