"When Essential Features Are Paywalled, Even a Great App Feels Risky"

**Overall:** I'm big on task management tools (digital and non-digital) and I'm surprised that I didn't try Any.do out sonner. For now I have the Free Plan, but I can see me going for the Premium Plan one once I have the routine of using the Free Plan one down. Either that or having the Recurring Tasks/ Tags and Labels blocked will keep me from finding long-term use for this app (and I wouldn't upgrade an app that I haven't been using).

**Pros:** I use the free plan, for my day to day tasks its perfect. Love the My Day feature and being able to reset it at a customizable time. For now I have 3 lists (Simple tasks, Complex tasks and Supermarket). This way it the learning curve was easy. After working with it for a few months/ 1 year I imagine to have it more customized to me. It helps to have it integrated with Google Calendar (I chose to only have 2 of my calendars in any do, to simplify). Considering I use the free plan this is a perfect value for my money.

**Cons:** Some small features that would make a big difference in usability are blocked. The main ones are related with automation like: - Not being able to customize the repetition of tasks (just daily, weekly, monthly or yearly are available); - Not being able to have more than 1 Tag. I understand blocking Whatsapp, custom themes, AI powered features and I would even understand blocking the Google Calendar integration. I believe that Recurring Tasks and Tags are basic features of any task management tool. Makes me wonder if I should change apps, if you block such simple features what's stopping you from one day blocking the number of lists per user, or the number of tasks per list. For future improvements I would love for the Google Calendar integration to be a two way street, meaning that when I create a task there could be a checkbox "Add to Google Calendar" and it would automatically appear in the Google Calendar app (as an all day task or in the day task depending on the task being added) Also as a UI/UX developer I can see a lot of improvements in the transitions from page to page. - Why do I need to have a list or view (My Day, Next 7 Days, etc.) open to Settings? - I keep clicking on the square symbol expecting a standart 3-Dot behavior (My Account, Settings, Help, etc. ) and its the news... Is that so important? - If in the Home page My Day, Next 7 Days, All Tasks and Calendar are side by side in a bar, it's expected that once I open one of those views I could then swipe right and left to toggle between them.

**Switched From:** [Google Keep](https://www.capterra.com/p/233847/Google-Keep/)

**Reasons for Switching to Any.do:** To have some more features such as: 1. Recurring tasks 2. Labels or Tags 3. My Day feature 4. Multiple Lists in one place across multiple devices

"The ADHD-Friendly Planner That Actually Keeps Me Focused"

**Overall:** As someone with ADHD, I’ve tried every productivity app under the sun. Any.do is the only one that stuck. It doesn’t overwhelm me with "data entry." Instead, it acts as an external brain that keeps my day on track. It has significantly reduced my daily anxiety regarding "what should I be doing right now?" If you struggle with executive dysfunction, this is the tool to try.

**Pros:** The "Any.do Moment": This is a daily morning notification that prompts me to plan my day. It’s the external "nudge" my brain needs to get started. Voice-to-Text: I can capture ideas the second they pop into my head via Siri or Alexa before I forget them. Satisfying "Done" Action: Crossing off a task with a swipe provides a great hit of dopamine that keeps me motivated. Reminders: The location-based reminders are essential for my "out of sight, out of mind" brain—reminding me to buy milk when I’m actually near the store is huge.

**Cons:** Subscription for Reminders: It’s frustrating that recurring reminders are a paid feature, as they are a basic necessity for ADHD management. Simple Sub-tasks: I wish I could break down big tasks into more detailed sub-steps; currently, the sub-tasking is a bit basic.
