Cons sometimes it doesn’t link trough various devices, I’m trying to use the same account in my phone and my laptop and y can’t see the calendar y have in my computer trough my phone. Solopreneur Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Time saving Any.do app with Whatsapp Integration" June 24, 2025 5.0 After any.do added the whatsapp integration, it became my only to-do, tasks, reminders app. Reason being, I use whatsapp as main chat for 1-to-1 and groupchat, any messages which I need to be reminded , I just need to forward to any.do and will automatically added into any.do app without the need to open the app. Then, whatever I need to be reminded, I just need to text any.do and it will automatically created. Making it so easy without needing to copy the message, open any to-do/tasks/reminders app and paste it to be reminded. Pros whatsapp integration which I can send tasks and reminders directly using whatsapp to personal and workspace, without needing to go into the app directly for creating. Basically, I only use the app for further editing if needed but I hardly do it. Cons Whatsapp integration can't add subtasks, tag or image, which are my least concern. But voice should be the next implementation as sometime am driving and not able to text and might forgot what I want to be reminded. I can't create standardized lists like the grocery list, where items are categorized. There are no templates. i.e Travel checklist. I can't wait to start being able to tell ChatGPT too. Set me a reminder or make me a checklist or add something to my groceries, and have it be able to actually interact with the any.do platform directly, I can honestly see myself. Using this app for most of my organization and to keep my incredibly busy life in line while I work on my multiple projects, it's a professional, personal and educational to stay on task with each while managing my severe adhd. Pros I love the premise of what it's able to do & I REALLY love that it's able to connect with chatGPT because this will make it much easier for me to keep my projects in line and not get off task. I'm currently running several big projects. In in addition to studying to upskill, in work with self directive, learning and assisting my husband with his business and web development. Possibly is that so it's several large projects this app that can work across multiple platforms.And multiple devices will hopefully change the way I run my day. Cons The learning curve seems a little bit steep, and so far, it's not actually connecting with chatGPT just yet, which is yes, very frustrating. But i', i'm an early adapter often, so i'm used to waiting for technology to catch up to what I think it's capable of. So far, I haven't been able to get ChatGPT to directly. " June 18, 2025 4.0 I like Any.do more and more as I get used to it. I have really terrible ADHD and forget everything pretty much immediatly. For quite awhile I have been looking for an app that I could really quickly open and use to brain dump, make a reminder, or copy/paste about items I don't have time for in the moment but really want or need to remember and come back to later. Love part : Any.do has been almost the most user friendly, streamlined, and functional app I've found for the impossible task of managing those moments with my adhd hamster brain. Don't Love part: On the desktop version there is this "re-focus gremlin" built into the backend and it "takes over" some of my screens/settings! It annoyingly smacks me so I stop spiraling down some random hyperfocus rabbit hole! For example, the gremlin is activated when the chrome extension is enabled and it automatically will be the default "new tab" screen. There's no way to have the extension enabled without that happening (the setting to change it is disabled). For me personally, it's both Pro/Con... I hate it, it irritates me every single time I open a tab now! BUT it also has been shockingly really helpful at keeping me on task and redirecting from veering off task. It's basically a full screen repetitve reminder of my task list everytime I attempt to just "look something up real quick". I was a tad resistant at first thinking this is probably just like all the other calendar/task/productivity apps I've tried which end up being super complicated, make you click 35 buttons just to jot down a quick note, or are ridiculously expensive. Nope! Aside from the limited customization options, and that annoying gremlin, Any.do quickly won me over and is one of a kind!! Pros \- Mostly easy functionality - Accessible from any of my devices - Unique features - chome extension, location reminders, and smart grocery list - LOTS of the features are available using the free version - Reasonable plan pricing if you do want to upgrade Cons \- A few navigation/screen view curveballs Moderate learning curve getting used to the views/sort, and how to navigate from one list/task or personal/work, calendar/my day/7 day. The buttons are all right there so switching between them is easy, but depending the "view or sort" sometimes it is confusing of where/how to find a list/task I want to update. -Limited options for customization Several "basic" settings are just built in and not able to customize. For example - no options or adjustments for basic font formating, sizing, bold/italic, color. - Calendar integrations have to be set up on each device individually and use different calendars. For example on my windows laptop I can integrate directly with my chrome calendar, but on my iPhone it will only integrate with iCal or the device default calendar, so I had to integrate my Google Cal to my iCal for it to appear in Any.do - Really not much in the way of Cons otherwise, so far I've been surprised and impressed with how much it ticks the boxes of features I needed. :) Switched from [xTiles](https://www.capterra.com/p/252235/xTiles/) xTiles would probably be great for a big team and/or project management, but for my own personal use it was too complicated and had too many steps/clicks for basic tasks Review Source RN Raj N. I wish i could contribute more to the program. This helped me plan alot of things academically and non-academics too. Pros Learning how to use it was fairly easy, although it was a bit challenging for newbies. Security aspects i haven't really realised but as far as i know, it uses email account to protect everything I havent spent any money on this but i feel like even the free plan is really great Collaboration is something i didnt come across. Projects are easy to work on as a team. The basic features are excellent. No bugs noticed yet. The cross-platform compatibility is something that helped me alot, sometimes i like to quickly note tasks on my phone. Cons I didnt like the fact that i cannot make the subtasks using ai, that could support a top down approach in breaking down a big task into smaller tasks, especially when i dont know anything about it. Having found my way round the glitches, I find it the most helpful app in terms of being able to dump all tasks and projects large and small to avoid forgetting anything. Once they are in, then I can organise them into categories and urgency so that I can see what requires my attention each day. Pros The visual presentation is simple and uncluttered. It is easy to add tasks. Plenty of functionality in the free version with additional customisation in the premium version. I have tried many productivity tools and this one is the most user-friendly. It's the only one that saves me from ADHD overwhelm. Cons Navigation could be better. I click on Focus and expect to see my day laid out but instead there's a page telling me why focus is good. there are 2 buttons that only lead to an upgrade prompt, nothing useful. Probably these annoying things go away if you upgrade. However, I nearly gave up using this because I had to click all over the place to find my way to a visual of Today. It shouldn't be that difficult considering the purpose of this tool is to simplify things. The buttons for Priority and Category are not clear. " September 8, 2025 4.0 Overall I really like Any.do for planning and scheduling my day and keeping track of my never ending to-do lists. It’s been keeping me organized and on task! Pros So far I really like this app. My favorite thing about it is the red line that shows me where I am at in my day. Such a simple little thing but so helpful! I also really like how I can see the colors of the different calendar events; that’s really important to me. I also like that I can add to my day easily and have that showing on the widget next to my calendar schedule. I also appreciate being able to tap and see the monthly calendar and also that I can jump to any day of that month by tapping on the day. Cons I’m still learning the user interface but for the most part seems pretty easy. I wish it had a spot for notes. I created a list to keep notes in but I don’t like that it puts it in my task list. I also love that you can check things off, and choose to keep those checked items visible, or archive them. I use it for my personal life, but it would work great for simple project management as well. It's also great to be able to personalize your background with a ton of images to choose from. Cons The only thing I can think of is that you can only see daily tasks for up to 7 days at a time. I almost tried all the to-do applications out there. This is just a to do application. Not a calendar app also takes care of to dos. It is focused on only one thing and does that very well, with a clean interface. Cons There is a default list called Grocery List. That cannot be renamed or deleted. I rename it, it goes back to original in 2 days. A weird bug. He does what he has to do and with a simplicity that surprises. I've tried almost every task manager on the market and I always end up coming back to Any.do. Pros An easy-to-use program with all the necessary functionalities. They are also constantly evolving and the addition of timers for tasks, even if only for team projects, has solved all the problems for me. Cons At the moment you can't set the timer on tasks that are not in teams... or at least I have not been able to activate it. For me this would be very useful.
