Ich habe BCS vor einigen Jahren schon in einem anderen Unternehmen genutzt und war sehr erfreut zu sehen, wie viel sich über die letzten Versionen an der Oberfläche verbessert hat. Das altbekannte Dilemma einer jeden Software Funktionsbreite vs GUI wird aktiv angegangen und hängt für meinen Geschmack nun nicht mehr hinterher.

Pros

Die Funktionsbreite bei gleichzeitig gut durchdachter Funktionstiefe in einer verständlichen Oberfläche verpackt. Wir können somit fast all unsere Prozesse mit einer Lösung abdecken und können uns auf das Alltagsgeschäft konzentrieren. Wir nutzen das Ticketsystem sowohl intern als auch für Kundenaufträge und können unkompliziert die Ticketbuchungen abrechnen, als auch Wartungsverträge darstellen. Abrechenbare Rechnungspositionen werden zum Monatsende automatisiert in E-Rechnungen zusammengefasst.

Cons

Fragen an den Support werden minutengenau in Rechnung gestellt. Daran mussten wir uns anfangs etwas gewöhnen.

Cons

Due to the system’s complexity, it is not always intuitively to use. Additionally, continuous development is largely customer-driven, which leads to some innovations not being consistently implemented across all areas of the system.

Cons

The missing mobile web version limits the usibility with the smartphone. For some customers it is crucial to react fast and on business trps.

Handle the iron riangle of project mangement (scope, time, costs), daily processes via Tickets and Kanban and Idea/ Project Portfoliomanagement.

Pros

Projektron BCS offers a great customer benefit and supports our teams with a lot of features. It supports agile Methodologies with Scrum and Kanban, traditional Methodologies with Resource-,Time-, Risk- and Quality Management and allows us to combine both Methodologies for hybrid project management based on product development with compliance requirements and embedded systems. We can choose for each team and project the needed features and simultaneously synchronize these teams and projects via Multiteam-, Multiprojekt- and Portfoliomanagement. Supplementary features for HR (Management of applications and skills), Controlling (capture meatrial and labor costs) and Sales (billing and proposal preparation) supports equally daily routines and projects. Since we work with sensitive data we welcome the ISO 27001 certification of Projektron BCS to ensure complete information security. Every three months comes a major release with new features.

Cons

Projektron BCS is a very powerful tool with many features, so that the user can be overwhelmed in the beginning. The tool options allow to define default views for specific user groups. Since the feature development is customer-driven they have a lot of features and ideas in the pipeline which can result in some waiting time for a specific feature (complaining on a high comfort level).

Projektron BCS hat viele Funktionen für die Unternehmensführung. BCS isgt unser ERP-Tool. Die Usability ist gut und die Software ist sehr anpassbar. Davon sollte auch Gebrauch gemacht werden.

Pros

Als mittelständisches Unternehmen legen wir bei der Neuser GmbH besonderen Wert auf Effizienz und Transparenz in unseren Projekten. Projektron BCS unterstützt uns hierbei. Was mich besonders überzeugt, ist die klare Struktur der Software und ihre durchdachte Bedienbarkeit. Trotz des umfangreichen Funktionsumfangs findet man sich schnell zurecht. Viele Abläufe lassen sich intuitiv und ohne lange Einarbeitungszeit durchführen. Die Usability von BCS ist im Vergleich zu anderen Tools, die wir vorher hatten recht gelungen.

Cons

Der umfangreiche Leistungsumfang der ERP-Software ist grundsätzlich ein großer Mehrwert, kann zu Beginn stellenweise komplex wirken. Durch die Zusammenarbeit mit einem Projektron-Berater konnten wir die Vielzahl an Funktionen gezielt auf die für uns relevanten Module reduzieren und die Software durch eine schlanke Konfiguration sehr gut an unsere Anforderungen anpassen.

Wir nutzen Projektron BCS nun seit einiger Zeit und ich möchte es nicht mehr missen. Vor allem aus der Controlling-Perspektive ist das Tool Gold wert. Ich kann zu jedem Zeitpunkt sehen, wie profitabel einzelne Projekte sind, wo wir Budgetüberschreitungen riskieren und wie die Auslastung meines Teams in den nächsten Wochen aussieht. Ein sehr professionelles Werkzeug für Unternehmen, die wachsen wollen.

Pros

Alles in einem Tool (Ticket-System, CRM, PM, HR). Sehr granulare Rechteverwaltung möglich. Hervorragende Unterstützung von hybridem Projektmanagement (Mix aus klassisch und agil). Top Support-Team.

Cons

Durch den enormen Funktionsumfang kann man sich am Anfang etwas erschlagen fühlen. Ein gutes Onboarding ist Pflicht.

Wir sind über eine Empfehlung auf Projektron gestoßen und waren überrascht, wie viele Unternehmen Gesundheitsbranche und Krankenhäuser BCS im Einsatz haben. Wir freuen uns mit Projektron einen neuen deutschen Anbieter (sogar in Berlin ansässig) gefunden zu haben.

Pros

Sehr übersichtlich - wobei wir auch "nur" das Ticketsystem, Vertrags- und Portfoliomanagement in BCS nutzen. Es tut, was es soll.

Cons

Projektron veröffentlicht jedes Quartal eine neue Version. Da wir relativ wenige Funktionen nutzen, sind wir von den Verbesserungen nicht so sehr betroffen und sehen eher den Aufwand beim Updaten.

Folgende Tätigkeiten werden bei uns mit BCS einwandfrei abgewickelt: Projektplanung, Zeiterfassung, Angebots und Rechnungslegung

Pros

Großer Leistungsumfang, besonders für kleine Firmen ist fast alles dabei. Einfach erreichbar über den Webbrowser, übersichtliche Bedienung. Jeder kommt damit zu recht.

Cons

Ein Inventar- bzw. Artikelsystem würde das Erlebnis noch abrunden. Für uns nicht entscheidend aber wäre doch sinnvoll.

Die Erfahrung mit dem System sind gut, in unserer Firma bringt das System viel mehr controlling und reporting herein. Der Projektron-Support war auch okay, bei hohem aufkommen haben die antworten auf die Tickets etwas gedauert.

Pros

Alle geschäftlichen Prozess sind mit Projektron BCS abzubilden. Das System gibt ein sehr guten Überblick über das gesamte Unternehmen.

Cons

Da Projektron BCS viele Funktionen bietet, ist es leider nicht sofort intuitiv zu bedienen. Für neue Nutzer ist der Einstieg zwar etwas einfacher, doch die Einführung von BCS in einem Unternehmen und die damit verbundene Änderung bestehender Prozesse erhöht die Komplexität und stellt für die Nutzer eine zusätzliche Herausforderung dar.

Projektron BCS hilft uns beim Erreichen unserer operativen Ziele und wir sind trotz bestehender Schwächen zufrieden. Gerade die letzten Releases haben gezeigt, dass nun auch Themen wie Bedienbarkeit und User-Experience in den Fokus genommen werden.

Pros

Grundsätzlich ist es klasse, dass BCS so viele Themenbereiche vereint und gut miteinander verknüpft. Die Planungsfunktionen auf Projektebene sind ausgereift und helfen dabei den Überblick zu behalten. Die Flut an Möglichkeiten ist dabei Fluch und Segen zugleich, denn erwartungsgemäß leidet die Bedienbarkeit durch die lange Liste an Möglichkeiten. Die Dokumentation ist vorbildlich, hat aber das gleiche Problem.

Cons

Am wenigsten gefällt uns die teilweise recht angestaubte Bedienbarkeit. Das geht schon beim Konzept von "neuen Fenstern" statt In-App-Fenstern los, welches für aktuelle Web-Apps nicht mehr zeitgemäß ist. Auch auf Administrationsseite (speziell beim Anpassen von Eingabemasken und Ansichten) gibt es Nachholbedarf. Grundsätzlich merkt man, dass die Anwendung historisch gewachsen ist – sowohl bei UI/UX als auch modernen Schnittstellendefinitionen (bspw. REST API). Wir freuen uns, dass diese Themen bei Projektron mittlerweile einen höheren Stellenwert einnehmen und aktiv daran gearbeitet wird, BCS zu modernisieren.

Neben einigen kleineren, wenig intuitiven Funktionen lässt sich eine große Vielfalt an Abläufen einfügen und ich bin mir sicher, das wir profitieren werden. Die rückwirkende Betrachtung von Projekten wird gefördert und zukünftige Prognosen positiv beeinflussen. Außerdem ist es leicht, die produktive Zeit und diverse Zeiträuber-Projekte zu erkennen.

Pros

Die Gantt-Diagramme sind sehr gut anpassbar und es lassen sich vielfältige Beziehungen darstellen.

Cons

Die Feldbreite der Zeitplanung hängt direkt vom gewählten Zeitraum ab und kann nicht manuell verändert werden. Die Terminberechnung im Strukturplan ist teilweise umständlich und die Fehlermeldungen sind teilweise nicht hilfreich/aussagekräftig.

Sehr umfassende Software, die ich in der Projektmanagement-Lehrefür Studierende einsetze, da sie einen äußerst großen Funktionsumfang hat, der neben dem Projekt-/Programm-/Portfolio-Management auch die weitere Unternehmenssteuerung unterstützt. Die Software unterstützt diverse Standards im Projektmanagement und kann dementsprechend angepaßt werden. Die vielfältigen Assistenten, u.a. für die Projektplanung, sind für ungeübte Nutzer sehr hilfreich. Eine sehr gute Hilfefunktion! Für mich ist auch der zuverlässige Support wertvoll.

Cons

Die Vielzahl an Funktionen kann für ungeübte Nutzer zunächst verwirren, jedoch läßt sich dies sehr gut über Zugriffsrechte und Modulauswahl steuern.
