Pros

There are lots of testing opportunities available, ranging and value from $1 to $10 usually. The app tracks how long each test took to complete, the value of each test, and when payment is due. It also shows users reviews decide to leave reviews of the test, that way user testers get feedback on their performance to improve their future performances.

Cons

Sometimes the test will glitch, such as a website not loading, making the test impossible to complete.

In a nutshell, I am really happy to use this software till today, Because it is a slow and steady process of making some good money on taking surveys and giving your opinions. The process of onboarding is also quit easy, they Just tell me to review the website with thoughts out loud and then the test will be automatically uploaded when it is finished. After a meanwhile, the test results will be on our mail, They said that You have passed the test, I am happy with that moment and Started taking tests on the go. It helps me lot to learn more about market trends, Companies, Research, etc.

Pros

I would say that they have a huge ways of surveys and they help all the softwares well structured to the real market. Key points to remember : 1.They had large number of testers. 2.Create a market trend softwares. 3.Making business to enrich their growth and develoment.

Cons

As a tester in Usertesting almost 4 years, I have got 30 tests till date and I am very feel guilty on that. The test may disqualify if the test is full.

I've been a freelance usability tester on UserTesting for over three years. It's a legitimate site, well organized and provides genuine opportunities to earn money by providing actionable feedback to companies looking to improve their digital products. The work is engaging and perfect for those with an analytical mind and strong attention to detail.

Pros

Engaging Work: There are always varying tasks that are interesting. This allows you to test anything from websites, to apps, of all sorts of sectors, keeping the work from becoming monotonous. Skill Development: It sharpens your ability to analyze usability design significantly. And hones your skills in pattern recognition and providing structured, data-driven feedback. User-Friendly Interface: The platform itself is very intuitive. The entire process is very straightforward, from recording tests to submitting reports. Reliable Payments: Payments are processed automatically and reliably every week via paypal. You always know when to expect your earnings. Impactful Feedback: It's rewarding to know that your detailed insights are directly used by developers and designers to create better user experiences.

Cons

Inconsistent Test Availability: Inconsistency of available tests. You can qualify for a bunch of tests one week then the next week not qualify for even one, making it unreliable as a sole source of income. High Disqualification Rate: You often spend more time on screening questionnaires only to be disqualified, rather than actually taking tests. In a whole hour you might qualify for one or two on a good day, which can be frustrating. A more intelligent matching system would be beneficial. Payment Can Feel Low for Effort: While the payment is fair, when you factor in the time spent on screeners and the detailed feedback required for a 15-20 minute test, the effective hourly rate can be lower than it initially appears. Limited Direct Communication: There is little to no direct collaboration with the clients. You provide your feedback into a void and rarely see the outcome or get to discuss your insights further.

Review source

Non-incentivized review: any software user can leave a review for any product listed on our site. All submitted reviews are subject to our verification process prior to publication.

UserTesting saved us from releasing a feature that people didn’t understand. That has made our research more reliable and way more efficient.

Pros

I love how fast we can launch tests and get unfiltered feedback. It's been priceless to see where users are confused, or where they hesitate before allocating dev resources.

Cons

It’s not cheap, and some of the responses can feel hurried or low-effort, unless you vet participants well.

It’s really been good I’ve earned some cash and also used it for my company

Pros

The fact that I can easily set up tests for users to review while also being able to review for others and make some cash on the side

Cons

It’s the fact that you might not qualify for even one test in a day you’ll have to keep trying

Pros

I appreciate UserTesting for providing many testing opportunities for people of various demographics, jobs, and hobbies. It is fair to both its testers and clients/partners by making sure that testers get paid for their honest work and that companies receive honest feedback and clean data for their user research.

Cons

The mobile app sometime glitches and says "something went wrong" upon accepting a test as a tester, and there is no opportunity to take the test because of the app error, so an opportunity is missed.

With testing 50 sites, I would say that except the issue above, the site it very good to use and very simple. Its not over complicated, therefore very easy to navigate. It gives you all the information you need, and I have found that when speaking to the clients, they are all very friendly, respectful and happy to listen

Pros

The dashboard is very easy to use. The tests pop up with a sound and you can work through the qualificaiton questions very easily. The admin area is also very easy to understand and use to tell you how much you have earnt and how much is pending.

Cons

The thing i dislike the most is that there have been a number of occasions whereby I have qualified for tests, both $10 and $60 ones and when I qualify for it, it suddenly tells me the test has expired and I miss out on the oppertunity to earn because of a buggy dashbaord.

Overall experience with the platform has been very positive

Pros

We use UserTesting to help us track and analyze all of our usability testing. We record all our tests and user interviews, usually through the platform. If we record outside of UT we always upload the videos there after. We find being able to tag and put notes in the video really helpful, and also love the segment creation so we can share important insights with the team.

Cons

We have not found success using their pool of testers. Could be we just need a more specialized audience and their pool is too general, so we recruit from our own users.

Pros

User testing is a good way to make money. You have the opportunity to test websites and give your opinions on what you think about it.

Cons

Unfortunately, I think user testing went downhill. It’s very hard to get a test now as it disappears so fast. I think it needs a lot of improvement
