I always receive quick and accurate responses to my inquiries, which is rare these days. The management platform is very intuitive, well-designed, and easy to use, even for more complex needs. Everything works reliably and smoothly, and the overall experience has been outstanding from the start. I’ve been using Telnyx CPaaS for quite a while, and what I like the most is how intuitive and reliable the platform is. Despite minor challenges in navigating the extensive documentation for advanced use cases, the power, reliability, and developer-centric tools provided by the platform are exceptional. We were able to get a secure, production-ready voice integration running in a fraction of the time it would have taken otherwise.

The developer-first approach is by far the best aspect. The Voice API is incredibly robust and well-documented, allowing us to seamlessly integrate it as the core telephony layer for our custom, self-hosted AI agent. The ability to control call flows with simple webhooks and the inclusion of critical security features like signature validation made it the perfect choice for our complex, event-driven architecture

Cons

While the documentation for core features is excellent, finding information on debugging some of the more advanced webhook interactions and AI-specific command behaviors took some time. The portal is powerful, but navigating to find specific settings within the vast feature set can have a slight learning curve for new users.

We've noticed that it doesn't always seem to be kept fully up-to-date. For example, the most recent commit at the time of writing introduced a change that incorrectly set the baseApiUrl to localhost for testing purposes. This oversight wasn't removed before the commit was finalized, which means that anyone integrating the SDK currently needs to manually override this setting in their code to ensure proper functionality. While this hasn't been a critical blocker for us, it does introduce an unnecessary extra step in the integration process and suggests that the PHP SDK might not be receiving the same level of consistent attention as other aspects of their platform.

Pros

The first time I registered with Telnyx, I immediately tried the AI ​​Assistant. I didn't expect Telnyx's AI Assistant to produce agent assistance that closely resembled a real human. Moreover, there are many models to choose from, ranging from those directly connected to Telnyx to those connected via API. They also include connections to other voice providers like elevenlabs, although I'm still trying out the voices provided by Telnyx.

Cons

At first, I had difficulty accessing the usage history for each AI Assistant call I tried. It was a bit tricky to find. It required more effort for a beginner like me. However, the assistance provided by agent Aatif in the chat box was very helpful.

### "Telnyx L2 verification broken and support is unresponsive"

Cannot implement the features I need without Level 2 verification, which failed for no apparent reason. If I request it, I get a message that says ""User": You have already requested L2 verification. Please contact Telnyx support with any questions." I have attempted to contact support using the form on their website, which gets no response, and I have tried calling the support number 4 times so far. Each time, I wait for 10-15 minutes, listening to hold music while being told that "we have a higher than normal call volume" and "your call is very important to us", before eventually being dumped into a voicemail box. After being dumped into the voicemail box, you can leave a voicemail if you would like to, but just know that Telnyx will neither act upon your voicemail nor will they return your call.

Pros

The IOT SIM card and SIP signalling works well, and the API documentation seems good. It would be nice to be able to use the features of the API

Cons

Telnyx has no support capabillities. They do not respond to the "contact us" form on their website and they do not answer the phone when you call the customer support line. Eventually, you can leave a voicemail, which they will neither act upon nor will they return your call.

I've been utilizing Telnyx for several years now as part of some home developed applications, but recently we've launch a new platofrm that takes advantage of Telnyx Global IOT network, I had an issue updating the email associated to the account and \[sensitive content hidden\] was able to resolve my issue in about an hour.

Cons

Sometimes I run into issues which have self service options for, but the self-service options just don't work for some reason. But the support is usually quick to be able to assist with making whatever changes are needed

So far I have had a great experience with Telnyx and while we have just started our switch to them in a full production test mode for 3 days, I am very happy with their management system and the ease of access they give to the end users. Fingers crossed that things continue to go good!

Easy of setup, easy of deployment, ease of integration, and price point for an elastic SIP Trunking service provider.

Cons

Their Tier 2 Verification process is a little wonky and you have to have this in order to place more than (2) concurrent outbound calls.

I am currently working at moving all my phone numbers to Telnyx. I have moved around 25 numbers, with 25 more on the way. I love that everything is at the same spot. I moved from SignalWire, Voip.ms and Twilio.

It was very frustrating getting my 10DLC registration, but I suspect that it was actually the upstream provider that was the problem.

Telnyx helped us solve an important problem by allowing us to go truly global and serve our customers irrespective of their country

Pros

We are business providing a WhatsApp-based SaaS service for payment reminders. For us to be truly global, we wanted to reach maximum countries with local numbers. Tried Twilio, but it allowed us only a few countries and was more expensive. Telnyx required more verification of the me as the founder and then other documentation. It took a few days for them to go through the L2 verification which is government-mandated for a lot of countries to buy local numbers. After verification, it has become super easy for us to own numbers in more than 30+ countries.

Cons

I can't think of anything at the moment other than the delay in the verification. But after it is done the uncertainty is gone and I can understand why it takes time because it requires human verification to determine whether I'm a real busines, not a spam company.

My experience has been really good so far. I’ve tested a few other SIP providers and Telnyx stands out for its reliability and the tools it gives you. Support has been solid too, I had an issue caused by user error and was able to reach someone through live chat quickly. \[sensitive content hidden\] from support helped walk me through the fix without any hassle. The platform feels powerful and flexible once you get used to it.

Pros

The SIP Call Flow Tool is probably the best part for me, it gives you a clean view of what's happening during a call which makes it much easier to troubleshoot issues quickly. The call quality has also been consistently great, and having SSO is a nice bonus so I’m not stuck managing extra logins.

Cons

I wish there was a true multi-tenant setup available so it would be easier to manage clients under one account. Also, I couldn’t find a solid guide on setting up my CloudUCM PBX with Telnyx, and the dashboard can feel a bit confusing if you’re used to something simpler like Flowroute.

There is nothing I disliked. It takes some time to get an overview of all the tools and settings, but this is the nature of this field.

it was great in terms of product experience, pricing and customer support

Pros

its product affordability compaired to other providers along with their customer support is also good and the product overall works fine with me getting 1 call drop in last 10k call made through the sip trunking feature

Cons

i dont think it has any down side as my thing is if the platform does what i need then its sorted. no downside spotted so far

We were able to combine all our numbers from offices across Europe on one roof, which helps us control costs and improve customer service.

Pros

Definitely a range of services and local country numbers availability. Last thing is reasonable pricing

Cons

Waiting for the numbers approval was too long and didn't help with the quick test. But I believe it is for security reasons.

My experience with Telnyx Suite has been excellent so far. I use it primarily for outbound sales calls using Vapi, and the connection quality, pricing transparency, and customer support make it a reliable partner in our operation. The integration with AI agents was smooth, and the system has been stable even under high call volume.

Pros

The flexibility of the CPaaS and SIP trunking features is incredible. I can scale communications fast and easily connect with multiple platforms through APIs. The documentation and support are also solid.

Cons

The setup interface could be more intuitive for beginners. It takes some time to understand the full potential of the tools.

### "Easy to integrate and great support"

Pros

Easy to implement solutions, the customer support is made by real people, always online also the weekend (thanks guys) and it integrates perfectly with my workflows.

Cons

You have to pass a few verification steps to get access to all the functionality. But in 4 days and always chatting with the customer support I had everything solved and ready to go. So, great experience overall.
