Contact information

Based on 77 reviews
Users appreciate the ease of use and accuracy of contact information provided by MediaRadar, which helps them identify spenders and media buying formats effectively. They find it convenient to access relevant contacts for brands and agencies, making cold outreach for sales straightforward. However, some users encounter issues with missing, outdated, or incorrect contact information, which can hinder their efforts to reach out to potential clients.

Prospecting

Based on 57 reviews

Users find MediaRadar invaluable for building lists of prospects and tracking advertiser spend, which streamlines their prospecting efforts. They appreciate the tool's ability to provide a holistic view of prospective clients and their advertising landscape, allowing for more focused and efficient outreach. The ease of prospecting and the ability to export detailed information about prospects make MediaRadar a crucial tool for their sales and marketing strategies.

Pros

  • It helps me a lot to see examples of creative running with competitors. And the Perfect Pitch feature gives me a quick understanding of the prospect and what they’ve done.

  • Media Radar is great, the service is top notch and it's accurate the majority of the time. I really appreciate the ease of use and the accuracy.

  • I am happy with the competitive reporting I am able to supply our sales team. Great tool for helping sales team map out trips/visits to clients.

  • They are super helpful to our business and provide a lot of unique insight that is hard to find. The customer service team and the outreach team are also wonderful to work with.

Cons

  • AOR contacts are frequently out of date or no contacts are listed.

  • Sometimes the server goes down without notice. When you pull reports they are local and some publications are missed within the mix.

  • The lack of information on smaller companies is a con. Many younger companies who are on the up have little to no information.

  • I don't like that you are only limited to national clients only to get contacts. Sometimes, the platform is hard to navigate.

"Easy and has provided me great intel!"

Pros: Mediarader has been great when trying to reach important marketplace clients as well as analyzing spend

Cons: When trying to pull reports it can be difficult to filter and use, I would suggest less reports that are easier to use.

"Useful and necessary to do my job"

Overall: All good.

Pros: It's usually very easy to find information and is mostly up-to-date. I use daily and find it a necessary part of my day.

Cons: Besides the basics - company, contacts, where/how much media they spend, I don't use it for the other parts. I don't find it as user friendly even though I've been walked through how to use it. If I have to spend too much time figuring it out - I won't use regularly. But for the basics I need and even their emails - that's been very helpful to me!

"Terrible Product - under delivers on every level. "

Overall: Terrible. Zero ROI. Unhelpful customer service team. When asked to get out of the contract early because the platform is pretty useless, we received abusive and aggressive emails from their 'legal' and collections team.

Pros: Nothing about it met our expectations. They over-promised during the sales process - the platform does not come close to doing what we need it to do, data-wise.

Cons: 1. The data is out of date and most contacts are not valid. 2. Sale team reported numerous issues with quality.

"Always provides information in a quick and easy fashion. "

Pros: I love the app! It's great for business travels. It makes it easy to prospect and get information while on the road.

Cons: Edit credits can be confusing as there are different places to look. Otherwise, there are no problems!

"Very efficient tool. Cust support came in to answer our outstanding questions which was very help"

Pros: Historical data, perfect pitch portal, ease of use and extraction. Really helpful that we can customize our competitive set (YT vs. Top 100 comscore pubs)

Cons: Often times buying demo information is not accurate. Contacts not always updated, especially with agency folks covering off multiple brands.
