My students also tell me that it's easy to use. It is a great tool for differentiating and helping to meet the needs of a large, diverse group of students. I like that it helps students answer their questions so that they don't always need my direct assistance. Cons I dislike that the online book automatically logs you out after a period of inactivity. Pros I liked doing readings with this LMS, all the important information was highlighted and the less important was hidden unless clicked, this saved a lot of time. Cons It was very hard for me to find where my assignments were, because of this I missed important points. The navigation can be improved. Professors love to use this program, and it is very easy to use on the student side as well. This product works wonders in the learning process. Pros This software makes reading textbooks and completing assignments very easy and convenient. With having access to this program from any device, getting work done for school is made very accessible. Cons I have not experienced any issues with this software. It has been very helpful in pursing a higher education within classrooms. From a student perspective, the software is easy to use, and I liked the different features that made the content easier to understand. Cons The software is expensive, and it was mandatory for class. If there were cheaper alternatives available to purchase instead, I probably would've explored other options. Pros I have the textbook for my course. Connect is the online platform for students and teachers. My students most often access the online textbook because there is an interactive version that will let them answer questions as they proceed through the chapter. Cons This software has been very difficult for me to navigate. I've never been formally trained on it and it doesn't seem intuitive for me to figure out. We've had some difficulty getting students logged in to the software as well. The customer service answer is always to have them call or email customer support which is not super helpful from the classroom. Review Source RW Rusty W. Cons User interface can feel a bit dated. Adding and connecting textbook licenses can be complicated when adding new students. Some content feels dated depending on your subject. Pros It allowed me access to the information I needed and was required to in order to finish the class I was taking. Cons One of the worst pieces of software in history. Pros I like the most that the software will read the lesson out loud to the student while the student follows along. That is really helpful for struggling readers! Also, being able to assign online content directly into Google Classroom is really helpful! Cons It is very complicated to add and move students and then also as to where they log in. As a student, I loved how user-friendly and easy to navigate this software is! It allows to not only access the textbooks online (I could even highlight and bookmark as I was reading) but also provided study materials, end of chapter quizzes, and tests all in one platform. Definitely recommend it for any educator who is facilitating online class. Cons If software was down, I could not access anything - not even the text in order to study for the upcoming test. Pros I love the ability to access text books, study guides, and other educational materials online from wherever I am.
