### "Terrible grading and comprehension of material checking"

November 3, 2023

2.0

Pros

ease of connection to this software is pretty good.

Cons

The questions are overly wordy and the multiple-choice answers are so similar and some of them, that could be right, are graded as incorrect. Beyond frustrating to the point that I am seeking out to write this negative review.

### "School Work"

June 13, 2022

5.0

It was pretty good. I learned and not too bad.

Pros

I like that I got to try a new logo and I had used this brand in high school. It was familiar, making it possible for me to not get confused.

Cons

I used this and bought it with a book set. It was expensive!

### "McGraw Connect student textbook functionality"

May 23, 2020

3.0

McGraw-Hill Connect is good for textbooks but with a few tweaks the viewing experience would be great.

Pros

The book directory is very good and points you the right way to find the portions you need. Registration is easy and fast.

Cons

The book functionality isn't the best. The zoom feature is no good and navigating exercises is not easy or simple.

### "Tool for online part of a class"

September 5, 2019

4.0

Generally, I have been happy in using Connect because I use Mc Graw Hill books

Pros

I use Connect for parts of the course that I want to do online. There are several features that you can use along with the content provided.

Cons

It is sometimes complicated and I often decide to use Canvas for the same purpose and to avoid confusing students.

### "McGraw-Hill Not for Me"

April 1, 2021

3.0

Pros

The content on McGraw-Hill Connect is quality content. There are lots of great textbooks, books, games, assignments, and activities for students to complete. Students usually love the interactive games and enjoy them anytime we use them.

Cons

There is no ease of use with McGraw-Hill Connect. It is so difficult to navigate between all the different aspects. When I click to go into the science program and then find the lesson and slides, you then need to open the slides in one tab with the lesson in a different one. There is no ease of use with editing this either. If you want just aspects of the lesson it is so difficult to delete, edit and share with colleagues which is a huge downside for me.

### "Online textbook "

December 9, 2019

4.0

In a 1:1 setting, this textbook app is a great resource. My kids love the intro videos.

Pros

I like that you can take the reading level up or down. Considering most textbooks are written way higher than my students' levels.

Cons

When we used to have to input a spreadsheet with our students' names to get access to online accounts

### "Barely got the job done"

April 11, 2022

3.0

Pros

I liked having textbooks anywhere with me (so long as I had an internet connection). I liked the annotation features.

Cons

I did not like how buggy the software was. It would require page reloads frequently. Signing in from my institutional account (only through Canvas) made it hard to get in to view the text.

### "Great Product"

September 27, 2018

5.0

Pros

As a Blackboard Administrator, I deal with a lot of "Third Party Content", and of all the publishing companies I interact with, McGraw-Hill is one of the best. Robust online resources and seamless LMS integration make this product a winner. Add excellent customer service and tech support to the mix and you just can't go wrong!

Cons

I wish that we had a greater variety of disciplines (subjects) from this publisher. However, this is more of a failing of our institution than of this product.

### "McGraw-Hill connect "

Overall I have had a great experience with them and will continue to use.

Pros

It is a great way to learn and I have used it for multiple classes of mine while in college. I take a lot of online classes, so it is a great way to learn on your own.

Cons

The thing I like least is how expensive this is. As a college student, the price of it is not reasonable.

### "A Student's Perspective on McGraw-Hill"

March 6, 2020

2.0

Pros

It's much easier to carry around my school laptop than a big, heavy textbook. I like that I can get almost all of them online.

Cons

The online textbooks and website in general, are very confusing to navigate. Oftentimes my homework questions are out of the online textbook, and sometimes it takes me around 1/2 an hour to find them.

### "Satasfaction"

May 6, 2021

4.0

This is a good software for instructors and schools to use to teach students and help them plan out their semesters, I liked using the software despite its issues.

Pros

This software sets up a calendar of all the dates of each assignment for the coming year and allows you to plan out what you need to get done with all the assignments and pass a course.

Cons

The textbook that is given does work however it is hard to use at times due to it being slow when trying to search up for keywords or chapter sections.

### "Waste of student time, resources and money."

January 30, 2023

It takes me hours just to complete one assignment every time I use it. It wants approximate answers the way it was programmed with wanting only one route to the answer.

Pros

Nothing this software sucks and no one should use it hence why I am writing this review

Cons

Everything sucks about it and it is a big waste of time for students

### "Great Textbook Alternative"

December 3, 2019

4.0

My experience overall has been positive, and my students have enjoyed using the online text.

Pros

I love the ease of assigning specific chapters to students and being able to assess their progress in the readings, as well as weekly quizzes.

Cons

As of yet, I have not found a way to turn off the setting where the practice button continues to blink on the screen if you have read past a specific point. This can be distracting if a student is trying to read uninhibited.

My overall experience has been amazing and I believe all of the district enjoyed using this software.

Pros

When we used this software at my school it was amazing to use and the resources and information for our teachers and students was very detailed and in depth about the information in learning.

Cons

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the software. Unaware of why the district stop utilizing it but it would be great for them to put it back in the curriculum.
