I usually do not have time to sit through demos and a 30 minute demo was required before starting the service. I would say the security of the software appears to be top notch. I was attempting to use this for payment processing and parent management, but was unable to. **Cons:** I did not like that there is a $500 start up fee to even use the service. Also, I was drawn to the service because it said payments were processed within two days. After sitting through the demo, I found out payments are actually processed within 4 business days. We wanted to provide a bit of clarification for anyone reading: • TUIO does not charge a $500 setup fee for active customers. This fee is only applied when an account is created but not launched. Once a school goes live and begins using TUIO with families within the agreed upon period, the fee is automatically waived. • TUIO does not advertise same-day payouts. Our payout schedule, typically 1–4 business days depending on banks and payment method - is standard for all school payment processors and is also reviewed during the demo. You likely would have qualified for faster payouts once more payment volume had occurred on TUIO. • Payment processing could not begin because the required underwriting documents were not completed. Once a merchant account is fully activated, TUIO deposits flow normally. We appreciate your feedback and would be happy to help if you decide to revisit TUIO in the future. —The TUIO Team Bunafsha U. It makes it easy to follow up with new enrollments and the payments. **Pros:** It is a convenient platform for tuition payments. **Cons:** TUIO's SIS is not as comprehensive or feature-rich as other platforms. It is great for administrative tasks and would be so much better if it offered academic management as well.
