Someone on my team provides the content and all I have to do is give my LI password occasionally. I've gotten several comments from clients and prospective clients that they have found it interesting and love the fact that I'm such a prolific poster. It gives me tremendous credibility and makes me look good! Cons It occasionally glitches and I have to keep logging in. East to see what is coming. Cons That I have to check it as a entirely separate entity. Wish these posts just appeared in my scheduled posts on facebook and I could edit. Not notified when there is a problem- so a week or two can go by before I realize something is wrong. I wish it were 1 integrated system instead of something else I have to monitor. Pros The product is very easy to use ad makes our social media posts so much easier. I love being able to schedule them out in advance. Cons It would be nice to have some of the events more up to date and have more local options. It'd be nice to be able to tie in our local SA Current and their events into the platform. Pros I do enjoy that you can group all platforms in one, schedule posts out in advance and you can even connect the platforms if you want the same or different posts on any specific date. Cons I find it a little difficult to navigate Soci, but once you get used to it things get a little easier. The customer service team is very supportive and tentative to your needs and questions when they arise and always follow up (sometimes weeks after to make sure things are still going well). Pros The software is a great place to bring all your social media together, and I do like that you have access to libraries of photos and videos. I also like how it grades your posts and gives you guidelines to try and make the post successful. Cons I'm not sure if this is related to the software or not, but suggested posts would be helpful sometimes. Also, possibly being able to upload more than one picture in an Instagram post would be helpful. I also, don't know if this is related to the software or Ace Corporate, but more images and videos in the library so you have a variety would be helpful as well and keeping up with the times (changes of seasons, holidays, etc.) Review Source Response from SOCi, Inc. Helping us stay even more connected with our customers. Pros If you are a planner then you'll love the scheduler feature. Even if you're not a planner the scheduler feature saves time if you use multiple social media platforms. Cons My least favorite feature would be the Report section. It would be nice if there was a way to create a report based on certain criteria or tags. From reviews, social media, calender's and more its a one stop shop. Cons I wish it would alert us when reviews are written. We have a policy to respond to them within 48 hours and we do our best to check daily but being that it isn't software we have to check daily to complete our tasks it can go beyond the 48 hours in response time. They consistently build out more tools to make the product even better. Recently, we were able to boost a post at all of our locations with just a click of a button. February 13, 2020 5.0 I've worked with other social media managements platforms and of all of them, SOCi is my favorite. It has the most features and the most functionality. It's pretty quick to learn and easy to navigate. The ability to create posts from the calendar, from your dashboard or other spots within the platform is the best part. Pros When scheduling content, it’s helpful to be able to look at the month at once, and pick and choose the days that you want posts to go out. In SOCi, I can look at the whole month and click any day and schedule a post. From that window, I can choose the post I want to use. Once scheduled, I can drag it around to a different day if I want. This is my favorite feature in SOCi. Cons Searching for and filtering content is a little confusing. Unless you type in an exact tag, or even if you do type in the correct tag, it doesn't always find what you are looking for. Review Source Response from SOCi, Inc. Pros I like the reputation management feature the most. Now that boost plus is available, I will most likely utilize post scheduling more. Cons The thing I like least about the software are the articles. They don't appear to be updated very often, and I frequently can't find relevant content to use in my social media posts. I love that! Pros I love that our franchise can set this up for us and schedule. Then we can modify and supplement as needed. Now that we're able to add in Ads Plus and Boost Plus is awesome! Being able to manage everything in one central place is convenient. Cons I wish the "giveaway" feature was more robust. I like it, but would like to do more with it around criteria. The learning curve was very small - and as long as you are familiar with Facebook, Twitter, etc, this will be very easy for you. Cons I oftentimes struggle with downloading links to videos that I would like to share. Pros I like how I have the ability to access all my properties I oversea. I can see in a snap shot of what social media's they access. I also like the ability to see how their comps are performing. Cons If you are someone who overseas multiple properties, it is sometimes difficult to from property to property. I wish if I was going to go to all my properties Google Business that I can just go straight to it and not have to go to the main screen to locations then go to the property, click on the Google Business icon and then go to the site. Being able to see our engagement spikes at a glance is awesome, really helps me decide when to post as well as what types of posts to use. Cons A lot of the scheduling features are still really clunky to use. We have multiple locations, and thus multiple Facebook accounts, and I'd like to see the ability to make the same post to all locations without having to load all locations individually. We also get a fair bit of our content from a corporate account, so I'd like to be able to multiple posts in the library at the same time rather than editing one post and then reloading the library. The scheduling process also seems a bit clunky- I'd like to be able to have an auto schedule continuously pull posts from a library to fill upcoming scheduled times rather than attempting to pull at initial scheduling. This would allow me to set a schedule and then just add posts to the library rather than having to load all my posts at once, and then schedule for a month at a time. Once scheduled, the post is available on the independent store pages, which makes it easy to create a custom blanket message that can be adapted for each specific location. I also love the ability to create an image and content database. Cons There is not an app platform available to our group of retailers, restricting my use to the desktop platform only. We use their software across our entire company and it's nice that they provide weekly trainings, and a dashboard that is easily accessible for all team members. It's easy to use and very reliable. Cons A minimal change that would make the software more user friendly would be a 'photo drop' option when scheduling a post- rather than having to choose a file from your computer.
