Their PRM software allows us to track our outreach, generate reports at the click of a button, and tailor our pitches to improve results. Their media database is easy to use and their media monitoring brings the other two platforms together. Because of Propel, we have been able to deliver better results for our clients. Cons It's an investment, but we quickly saw that it was worth it. We tried using other CRM software to track reporter outreach, but it was always like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. From tracking the progress of pitching efforts in real-time to measuring the impact of a campaign, Propel is tailored to PR workflow. Cons You must have the Propel extension for Google Chrome installed to get the most out of the platform, which means you lose some functionality if you’re working from an iPad or other mobile device. The email tracking and Gmail extension features help me stay SO organized when corresponding with media and ensures that we aren't leaving any opportunities in the inbox. It has helped our team with communication on pitching as well. Pros Propel is extremely user friendly and really caters to the needs of PR professionals. I have tried several different platforms but none of them are as dialed in to the needs of publicists as Propel is. It has simplified my workflow, made it easier to track media placements, and helped my team communicate extremely well. Cons I would love to see the reporting features have a customizable option. Overall, they are really helpful tools but I would love to be able to further customize the stats and information that I am reporting to clients. Similarly, I would love to see one or two more filter features for the gmail extension and media lists.
