I use the app for error tracking, performance monitoring of the websites and portals. Tracking of backend and frontend together is the best way of problem solve functionality of AppSignal. Additional feature of JavaScript debugging errors is the thumbs up from me.

Pros

I most like the flexibility and scale of the application. Application version 3.x supports node.js which makes my work many times easy. It supports many well-known libraries and integration process includes open source projects

Cons

I would like to see more focus on python related integration. OpenTelemetry is great for python.

Pros

AppSignal is easy to integrate into your project. The overview and the integration with other services (e.g. GitHub) is superb and you are able to find errors in your code very easy.

Cons

When you are switching servers fast (e.g. with continuous deployment to newly provisioned servers), it's hard to single out one server.

User friendly and very easy to use

Pros

Good UI makes it easy to track errors or performance issues. The user experience is also pretty good

Cons

Quite expensive solution when traffic goes up. Limited functionalities compared to tools like NewRelic. It would be good to be able to export some error data: for instance we need to export a list of users who have had a specific bug to let them know it's solved

All tools and services in one place, making it easy for those writing codes to do their job faster.

Pros

This software is nice because it lets the user know exactly what errors or issues are being made and the site is fairly easy to use. It has a lot of the services in one place.

Cons

It is easy to use, but they should have a new system for error notification. The way they set up their notifications for errors or other reports isn't great, so they could definitely improve on that.
