Cons They don't have custom size canvas dashboard to design posts. Very bad dashboard interface. Not pleasing templates compared to other products available in the market. I have been primarily using the tool for creating social media graphics, posters, and flyers to promote my mindfulness course online. In the past I have also used Canva free but then ended up purchasing Piktochart. Pros Piktochart is very easy to get hold off and use. I like how professional their templates look like. Piktochart provides me templates to use for any situation which comes in handy when I'm on a time crunch. Cons The worst part personally for me is how there are a lot of settings and tools to use in the features which can be a bit convoluting. I used a timeline "Design Component" and the "Text Frames", as well as icons and graphics , to communicate my work. It was very easy to use, but sometimes difficult to click and drag the correct features. Pros Piktochart is easy to use and has a great library of graphics and images. I especially liked the infographics templates and the very aesthetically appealing "Text Frame" options. Cons There were some difficulties with layering and click features in Piktochart. It is difficult to click on overlapping text boxes. I wish it were easier to size the overall image as well. Saved me in an urgent matter. Pros That I could just jump in and do it by myself, something I previously didn't think it's possible. Gave me the courage and helped me to very quickly create crucial marketing materials Cons That the free package is quite small and I needed to purchase a subscription for the more advanced features, but I only needed it for punctual activities, not as continuous work. January 14, 2019 5.0 I can share presentations easily and take full advantage of the templates. Creating well branded flyers, infographics and posters are a breeze. Pros I really like the flexibility of the Slides/Powerpoints they offer. Embedding links and Videos are a breeze. This site is also good for helping you get through a spend freeze or those days your designer is on vacation. Cons You can't upload your own typekit font. Pros This is my go-to for making infographics or reports. It is very intuitive and easy to use. The graphics are professional and easy to re-use one downloaded. The interface is drag and drop with many templates and lots of support. There are many stock images that are easy to find and use as well. Cons Sometimes the interface can be glitchy/nonresponsive but I don't know if that's the software or our computers/internet connection. It gives the students something to do that is not a PowerPoint or Google Slide or Prezi presentation. It allows students to use their creativity. Cons What I dislike about this product is that if you are not using it after so long, they disconnect your account. I like Piktochart, but I do not use it as often as I do other products. Cons You get what you pay (or don't pay for). Yes, it's very easy to use and can create nice looking graphics, but the functionality is low. Pros The software is simple to use and offers a great selection for the free trial. I was able to teach myself how to use the system and the end product delivered what I was looking for. Cons In order to have custom colour palettes, you need to pay for the upgraded version. I did this and didn't feel there were that many added bonuses. In a previous role, we were so efficient with it, we started building custom infographic plans for our customers. Cons You really need to pay to taste the value.
