Pros

It records my guest's name, number, and is always available, even when I am not. It plays the messages from my computer, and it alerts me via email whenever somebody calls or faxes.

Cons

If I want to share the messages with my assistants, and then she leaves, it seemed a bit problematic to remove them and replace their access with a new one. Also, I wish it could somehow filter telemarketing faxes (I know that's probably unrealistic).

### "After 20-years, we are DONE with NinjaNumber"

Almost 20-years a VoiceNation/SimplyOne/NextPBX/NinjaNumber customer. They are now stand-alone, no affiliation with VoiceNation ... however, NN uses VN's live answering service!!! Go figure. There is no customer service at NN. No one ever returns an email, a phone call. Zero response even via Chat (also using VN!). Not sure how they can be so NONresponsive. That Care2Call nonprofit program, is leftover from VN, no response from NN. Rate increases were crazy. Most recent rate is/was well-above the stated rate. The actual messaging interface and service was great. We are done.

Pros

The "virtual" service and interface worked flawlessly. However...

Cons

There is no customer service. Never a reply to any means of communication. Funny, eh? They have retained web pages and jargon leftover from VoiceNation. See my overall experience.

Pros

The thing I like most about ninja number is how easily their sign in process is via their website. You rarely find that nowadays.

Cons

I truthfully have no issues with their software, I absolutely love it. The software in my experience seems always up to date.

Everything is good. I had a few times when it didn't work when I needed it, but when it does it is perfect.

Cons

No live customer service on weekends to help with software questions that's my biggest concern.

### "VEHEMENTLY do NOT RECOMMEND NINJA NUMBER"

We have been customers since "Ninja Number/Simply One/NextPBX was Voice Nation at its inception many years ago. Service was initially straight forward, over the years reliability SIGNIFICANTLY DECLINED - and CUSTOMER SERVICE became NON-EXISTENT. Also - the phone system evolved, becoming more complicated yet there was no GUIDEBOOK, explanation or customer service to assist with set up, changing and / or using the PBX system. When referred to the webpage for this info - there is very sparse information, no overview or true guidance for FULL use of this very intricate phone system. This year we had COMPLETE PHONE SERVICE OUTAGES, during which WE COULD NOT REACH CUSTOMER SERVICE. After multiple calls - we reached only a "call-center," where someone took a message and nobody called us back. Additionally, while talking to the "call center" - their phone lines cut us off mid-sentence. REPEATEDLY! I mean, multiple (25+) times getting cut off! This is no exaggeration. We are a small Healthcare business - and OUR PATIENTS COULD NOT REACH US. We're talking about pregnant women and oncology patients undergoing critical care - unable to reach their healthcare providers. Never once did we receive an email, or any other kinds of notification from Ninja Number/Simply One/NextPBX letting us know the system status update, what had happened, when it would be resolved. No apologies, no concern, NO COMMUNICATION. We always found out because our patients would start emailing us. Unacceptable!

Pros

Very complex, intricate phone system with multiple options. HOWEVER, completely useless if you have no reference manual and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Cons

\- Horrible Customer Service . . . literally non-existent. - System Outages - days at a time, no warning, no explanation, no assistance during down time. - NOT RELIABLE

Reason for choosing Ninja Number

At the time Ninja Number was "Voice Nation," and one of the few on the market. Years ago!

It appears they let me cancel my trail and haven't charged me. So that's a plus.

Pros

It's the most affordable option I could Find.

Cons

It didn't work. Instead of a list of options to work though you have to use the wizard and walk through the whole process every time. A process which breaks at the voicemail prompt when I do it from my cell. From their website dashboard you have virtually no functionality. I reached out to the chat support several times during normal hours and got no response for support. Searched their help pages with no luck.

### "Waste of time for nonprofits"

Ninjanumber.com falsely advertizes that they give free 800 services to nonprofits. We applied, sent our IRS determination letter stating that we are an exempt 501c3 charity and pkacwd a link to http://ninjanumber.com on our website, as required fot the alleged grant, then sent them back an emial a. Never heard anything back, it was as if we had never applied or they never expected anyone to actually apply for an 800 number from them! I don't usualkt go to the extent of complaining about not getting a grant or service, but this has a distinctly fraudulent feel.

Pros

Nothing it was never sent, they never followed through, not very reliable, if this is how they treat people in the beggining, imagine what your experience may be...

Cons

They never delivered or followed through with they're promises after we did everything they asked...

ease of use!

Pros

ease of use and how professional it is! I use your service on a weekly basis and it always works for me and my customers.

Cons

pretty happy so no major complaints. If there was something to change then it would be to have a menu option for more messages that people could listen to.
