### "Scammers and liars"

July 15, 2024

2.0

Was great for 4 years. The product needed some improvements and they did that but at a cost! Unfortunately they do not know what lifetime means.

Pros

They offered a lifetime subscription which was a great offer at the time.

Cons

The reneged on the lifetime subscription. Fours after the purchase of the lifetime subscription, they are requiring me to pay again to continue to use the product. Apparently they do not understand what lifetime means. I can no longer can use the product as the LIFETIME subscription expired. Scammers!

We greatly appreciate the time you are dedicating to provide us with a review. We understand that your time is very valuable, and we are grateful that you are using it to help GitScrum. We acknowledge that some customers may occasionally feel frustrated due to a lack of communication or alignment. However, at GitScrum, our customers always come first. We want to emphasize that all our Lifetime Deals are active, with some customers having been with us for over six years. It is important to note that the Lifetime Deal is designed to be a long-term commitment. In your case, you have been enjoying GitScrum since 2020 without any additional monthly fees, having paid an excellent price for the Lifetime Deal. We are proud to offer this benefit to our customers. We have recently launched GitScrum All-In-One, and because your license is quite old, it requires an update. Rest assured, you will never lose your Lifetime Deal; you simply need to update your license to continue using GitScrum All-

### "GitStrum is a good product and reliable platform "

August 1, 2023

5.0

My experience with GitScrum has been absolutely amazing, especially considering I'm a new user of the platform. I must give them kudos for providing such a helpful and fantastic experience, even with their free trial. It's been a great journey using GitScrum, and I look forward to exploring more of what they have to offer.

Pros

What I absolutely love about GitScrum is its real-time updates. They have been a game-changer for our business, allowing us to stay on top of things with automation technology. It has made handling complex processes a breeze and optimized our workflow. Moreover, it saves us a significant amount of time through automated recurring tasks, webhooks, and APIs. The seamless integration of these features has truly revolutionized how we manage our projects and collaborate as a team.

Cons

I believe GitScrum could have provided a way to reach out to their customer services directly through their platform, instead of having to use Gmail or an external email service to contact them. It would have been more convenient and seamless for users to have an in-platform communication channel with their support team.

### "Disappointed by Gitscrum's Task Deletion Policy"

May 23, 2023

3.0

I recently experienced a deeply disappointing and frustrating situation with Gitscrum that compelled me to share my thoughts. Having been an early adopter, I was shocked to discover that they have implemented a policy of deleting tasks, which severely hampers the functionality and reliability of their service. It is truly disheartening to witness a company prioritize their own profit margins over the needs and satisfaction of their loyal user base.To make matters worse, Gitscrum's recent announcement regarding their updated Workspace Data History policy only served to exacerbate the problem. By limiting the data history to a mere three months for Lifetime Deal (LTD) license holders, they have effectively trapped users into a frustrating and restrictive situation. It feels like a deliberate attempt to coerce users into purchasing expensive upgrades, rather than genuinely catering to their needs. The decision to impose such absurdly short task limits is nothing short of a betrayal of trust. As a user, I relied on Gitscrum to provide a reliable and comprehensive project management solution. Unfortunately, this recent change demonstrates a complete disregard for user needs and satisfaction. It is clear that their actions were driven by greed, rather than a genuine desire to deliver a quality product and prioritize customer satisfaction. It is crucial for companies to value and respect their user base, especially those who have

Pros

### "Unzuverlässiges Management: Vertragsbestandteile werden ohne Einverständnis geändert"

May 21, 2023

2.0

Reason for choosing GitScrum

Ich habe mich zum Glück rechtzeitig umentschieden und nutze GitScrum nicht mehr.

Thank you for sharing your concerns regarding GitScrum and its recent announcement about the Workspace Data History feature. I understand your apprehension and would like to provide some clarity on the situation. Firstly, the introduction of the Workspace Data History feature on June 1st is aimed at enhancing the overall GitScrum experience for all users, including those who have acquired the GitScrum All-In-One with Forever Workspace Data History. As a customer who purchased the Lifetime Deal in 2019, you will continue to receive all software updates, including new features. While it is understandable that there might be concerns regarding the sustainability of lifetime deals, GitScrum has taken measures to ensure the long-term viability of its services. The company remains committed to providing ongoing support and updates to its customers, including those who availed themselves of the LTD offer at a significantly lower price. GitScrum values its customers, and your satisfaction is of utmost importance. ### "Streamlined Project Management with GitScrum"

June 10, 2023

5.0

Overall, GitScrum has been a valuable asset for our agile project management. It offers a range of features that have improved our team's productivity and collaboration. With regular updates and a receptive development team, I am confident that GitScrum will continue to evolve and provide even more value in the future.

Pros

I have been using GitScrum for several months now, and it has significantly improved our project management process. The task management features are robust and easy to use. I can create tasks, assign them to team members, set priorities, and track progress effortlessly. The ability to break down tasks into user stories and sprints has helped us stay organized and focused on our project goals. What sets GitScrum apart is its collaboration capabilities. The real-time communication features, such as chat and file sharing, have transformed the way our team works together. We can easily collaborate, share ideas, and provide feedback within the tool, which has greatly improved our efficiency and reduced communication gaps.

Cons

While GitScrum is generally user-friendly, there was a slight learning curve initially. Some features required a bit of exploration and experimentation to fully grasp. However, the available documentation and responsive customer support helped us overcome any challenges we encountered.

### "A very powerful and flexible project management tool but misleading whitelabel feature"

November 28, 2022

3.0

My overall experience based on the main reason for choosing Gitscrum is very poor. There are many great project management tools and my main reason for choosing Gitscrum was for its whitelabel feature that was heavily promoted.I was misleaded basically after not being able to fully test during test so I purchased the cheapest plan to do this where I found the limitations or lacking feature which I communicated where I was told this would not be addressed.I will continue using Gitscrum but without the whitelabel feature as this has the potential to confuse my users.I would recommend Gitsrum but point out to users that they should be aware of the lacking features of the whitelabel and try to fully test it and be clear on the limitations to see if that would be a deal breaker for them.

Pros

Gitscrum as a project management tool is very powerful and flexible and offers many customization and ease of tracking projects from the main overview page. From adding tasks to the use of gantt, sprint and collaboration features like the wiki, discussions, documents and spreadsheet Gitscrum would meet any project managment needs.

Cons

Gitscrum's whitelabel feature is lacking and has the potential to confuse users for persons who are using their customized domain. When I pointed this out to them I was told by email support that it would not be address.I believe this to be very misleading about a feature they heavily promote on their website and for this reason I would say their whitelabel feature is a major con and for that reason I would not recommend or at least let potential users know that if they are purchasing Gitscrum for the whitelabel feature to be aware that it is not completely as would be expected.

Reason for choosing GitScrum

I choose GitScrum over other alternative products because of the whitelabel feature as promoted

### "The Ultimate Failiure of a Supposedly Agile System"

June 1, 2023

1.0

My experience with GitScrum has been overwhelmingly negative. The combination of changing policies, functional limitations, unresponsive support, and an unfriendly user interface has led me to consider it as one of the least effective project management tools I've ever encountered.

Pros

Can't think of any, it went down the drain.

Cons

In a surprising move, GitScrum transitioned to a policy where data is retained for merely three months. Beyond this period, users are required to invest in an additional plan to preserve their data. This sudden shift in policy not only undermined the value proposition of the lifetime license, but it also disrupted our work process significantly.

### "Bad Strategy for a Low Quality Product"

February 26, 2024

1.0

Bad Strategy for a Low Quality Product, I consider it as a scam how you force for upgrade, and now adding Ads to the product just to get more money

Pros

the idea was good to have onetime license and we paid the full amount but unfortunately the product didn't deserve to pay any money and the strategy of forcing the client to upgrade every time to be able to use the product we paid for it very low thinking

Cons

for me the whole thing is a scam since you will not be able to use the system without paying every time although you paid in full before for a life time deal. How could they come up with Ads to just make you pay extra!!

### "Ok product, not realtime for teamwork, very basic editor"

July 24, 2019

3.0

It is just basic. I think scrum focusing is the right way to follow, it makes Gitscrum a bit difference compare to other tool. However, if the tool is not improve soon, we will find another tool for our daily work.

Pros

It is fixed to scrum, that is the best score. Simple is advantage and also disadvantage. Most feature seem like other app like Trello but can't meet standard expectation even compare to redmine I used for 5 years. Lifetime deal is good for indie team but I feel not worth for the price.

Cons

\- Slow performance and not even realtime as expectation. - Editor is really basic. At least I need an editor like redmine (more customization like headlike, font, font color,...) - Too many option. For the newbie user, it should be focus and simple (simple here is not lack of feature, simple is enough features. An example for the messing is if I want to mark an issue a bug, there are 2 things that make me confused: task type, a bug control on the top right. - Lack of priority and sorting feature. Like I want to reorder task by priority, how can I do that. - and many other little things but annoying (like: can't insert image to the text, can't copy paste image directly,...)

Reason for choosing GitScrum

closest to scrum model.

Switched from

[Redmine](https://www.capterra.com/p/212445/Redmine/)

Real-time collaboration is the standard for currently working environment especially for indie team. We love google sheet, docs,... we love Trello because of that. However Trello is not design for scrum, it is for general purpose. However, the editor of Trello is quite good (better if it can have advance editor like redmine) and UI/UX is perfect, really easy to use. Redmine, we have used for 5 years, it meet our expectation for old product development model but not really for scrum even I tried scrum plugin. I need realtime feature, Redmine doesn't have that. That why we find another solution, gitsrum is closest to our expectaion (30%).

### "Top of Class"

September 23, 2022

4.0

I manage all my clients / projects using this tool as it has a little something for everything.

Pros

I absolutely love the ease of use. Some things as already mentioned need some improvement. But overall it is an amazing product for the value.

Cons

Mind mapping as it is glitchy. I use Safari as my daily driver and this feature requires a lot of work. But even in Chrome you have to double click to add or edit text which doesn’t always translate. Amongst a few other small things I’ve run into. Would love improvements to this feature as a while personally.

### "Company is scamming"

May 30, 2023

1.0

This company scams its users with arbitrary price and rule adjustments. We 'invested' in this company early on by purchasing a LifeTime deal. This deal was for a workspace with no limits on number of users, storage, etc. Now they want to force a monthly subscription on all users, which costs annually what we paid once as LifeTime price, or you can only store your data for 3 months, after that all data, tasks etc. will be deleted. What is especially bad, this was announced to us 1.5 weeks before the change was introduced. A completely absurd deadline.Stay away from this company and with it Gitscrum.

Pros

Full focus on task managementScam, do not use under any circumstancesUnfortunately, they have recently introduced rules that nullify my LifeTime deal as an early user of this software and force me into a subscription model.

Cons

Unreliable decisions. Users are not valued.Support answers with no sense of scamming its users

### "From promising to disappointing"

August 16, 2019

3.0

Pros

I like mostly the ability to create sub-projects, having an integrated time-tracking and create templates for everything.

Cons

There are currently a lot of features missing, but I believe that is normal because is a recent platform. What's most disappointing is the UI/UX. When I acquired GitScrum I thought the UI was really bad, but I thought "well, it's a prototype, it will improve later", but now that it was made from scratch AGAIN and is still looking like 2008 is unacceptable, there are so many up-to-date and fully-developed platforms right now where you can get inspiration from. This doesn't seem to be a mater of having few time available, just looks amateur. The integrations were also a surprise, it said it had a lot, but then the only thing they do is to one-time bulk import everything.

Switched from

[Jira](https://www.capterra.com/p/19319/JIRA/)

I was caught in the early-adopting marketing campaign saying that this was a new approach to Agile development. I think that things made from scratch have a huge advantage, they can get insights from fully-developed platforms and improve from there without costs, they don't have to throw any work away and can plan things much better. So I decided to join and contribute for the development of this platform by buying the product and giving feedback, expecting that some day this could evolve to a platform that provided features that no other platform would.

### "Simple and Efficient Project Management Tool "

August 1, 2019

4.0

Very helpful for managing my software development projects on a daily basis. Once you get familiar with the app, it integrates seamlessly with your work routine.

Pros

\- Lifetime license is a great deal - Adapts well for teams working in an agile/scrum framework - The board planning view is very helpful for having a summary of the current project in a glance - Sprints subdivision is very useful for working in iterations - Great customization as for todo lists, ticket fields and workflows. - Excellent checklist widget for tickets that prevents from having to create too many subtickets.

Cons

\- Tables that display information provide poor filtering and sorting functionality. For instance, sprints section is not sortable/filterable at all, whereas it would be useful to filter out closed sprints, and sort by date/name. The same scenario for user stories - not possible to search a ticket by its id, plus the url doesn't use the id either. So the IDs although useful for identifying a ticket have poor usability on the app. - Excel report for time tracking is very useful, unfortunately it does not provide totals.

### "GitScrum has made a noticeable difference in our project management efforts"

October 16, 2023

5.0

GitScrum has proven to be an invaluable tool for streamlining our daily tasks, user stories, and sprint management. It has significantly improved the way our team handles its workload, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and projects stay on track.

Pros

One aspect I particularly appreciate is GitScrum's adaptability to remote work. It offers a simple and effective workflow for managing projects, making it easier for our team to be productive, even when working from different locations. The platform provides the necessary features for agile collaboration, enabling us to work seamlessly in a remote environment.

Cons

GitScrum is an outstanding platform, but I'm currently experiencing an issue with features like "GitScrum Agencies" not functioning as expected. I kindly request that the platform's team address and resolve this matter promptly.

### "GitScrum, our daily ally."

September 23, 2022

5.0

We were looking for software to centralize all the work, measure the time, and be easy to use. and we find all inside GitScrum. I bought a perpetual license for our company and another one for my family to be able to order all.

Pros

All the features, the possibility to adapt the system to your own needs and with your own words, the time tracking, the price, and the opportunity to have a perpetual license are the most attractive features of this software.

Cons

Related to the software development, I think it would be better to integrate with a git platform, it would be another level.

Reason for choosing GitScrum

The easy adoption, the user-friendly environment, its grant chart, and the ability to apply scrum on it were the main factors.

GitScrub has the basics covered, and their founder Renato has been very responsive and high coordinative with their audience. It's the humans behind the genius apps like these that you know it's going to be successful not only based on their roadmap, but their relationship to care about their customers. The app isn't the most refined in the market but if you're doing Scrum it already has the tools you need at your disposal.

Pros

In this technological age it's highly advantageous to be an early adopter. GitScrum has the initiative, goals and momentum to become great, it's not about "if" it will become a competition to the ones on the market right now, but "when" it will become one. I have used this software with a team of approximately 50 people, and it helped us all align with our workflow and tasks. I do wish do see the API and the Mobile App soon, with those two shipped and working, I will be content with their progress.

Cons

No APIs yet to connect to other apps and it's not live refresh, when moving cards at this point it won't reflect on another user -- also a bit slow on loading cards. A little cluttered on the UI but that can be considered negligible with sprints.

They have the application but they don't education on the principles that much how to use it. GitScrum has those information on their site which led to my journey.

### "Great tool for smaller projects, larger projects would benefit from more features"

July 24, 2019

3.0

Pros

Features I like: Tagging tickets to organize tasks in groups Time tracking (albeit I dont use it, I use separate application to track time and invoice clients) The structure seems pretty intuitive (company -> project -> tickets) UI is comfy, I don't think I ever had to search for a feature in frustration (given it was implemented)

Cons

Features I'm missing: I would like to see tickets fallover from ending sprint to a new one, and more fluid transition between sprints. In general, sprints currently have "nothing in common" with one another, and we stopped using them, instead doing everything on the Board planning screen, which then costs us the insight of having separate portions of work divided in sprints. This is probably my most desired feature because it hurts the ease of use when attempting to work in somewhat agile way. It wouldn't hurt to have an URL that would always point to current sprint in a project, but I think it hits the ceiling with sprints not really being timeline (calendar) based, rather just existing in the same space I would love to see more tight integration with Git based repositories, and with CI/CD pipelines as well. Jira for example couples commits with tickets based on prefix (ticket has id AB-123, commits with message "\[AB-123\] - commit message" are coupled and info displayed). Similar approach could be used to integrate with CI/CD pipelines and display build statuses or which environment branches/commits are deployed to. I know comparison to Jira might seem a bit unfair, but you folks are in fact competing with them on some level, so ...

### "GitScrum or GitScam"

July 9, 2022

3.0

I need to plan workloads then track progress. This is not the tool!

Pros

The price seemed good at first until I started using it. Its very pretty. It is very configurable. All the Kanban board items you like for example. A lot of the normal lookup type lists like effort type etc can be customised.

Cons

There is a Gantt chart feature but but no way to set a start and end date for a task? It has very little integration with anything other than social media chat applications. The support is non existent and finding contact details is extremely hard to find and feels like that's the way they want it. Where's the GIT in GITScrum, nowhere. There's plenty of media bestowing its virtues but no documentation or help to back up its claims. Its a Kanban board only, dont expect anything more.

Reason for choosing GitScrum

A life time license (on off payment) The others only offer monthly fees for a service plus another monthly if you want this or that just seems like a never ending drain. I understand the business model but the prices are just too over the top.

### "Excelent for Desktops. Needs improvement for mobiles"

August 21, 2019

5.0

I'm very satisfied with GitScrum. It is easy to use, it is easy to configure a project and set up the desired tasks and contexts. The tasks color coding is very helpful to assess the status of the project, either overall, in the dashboars, by sprint or by user story. Minor adjustments would improve the user experience and a mobile application would help.

Pros

It is easy to use and have a great user interface. The UX designed is great for Desktops and the color coding is very helpful. Using sprints as names is great. This way we can contextualize sprints, instead of just assigning them sequential numbers.

Cons

Needs improvement in bulk actions, like assigning a couple (or a dozen) tasks to one colaborator or moving the tasks to another sprint/user story. Also, the interface (UX) in mobile devices. A specific mobile application would improve the perceived value a lot.

Reason for choosing GitScrum

GitScrum provides more features, allowing us to set up metrics to track and evaluate efforts. Also, the specificity to SCRUM management processes were decisive.

### "Gets the job done. The new UI could have been better"

September 24, 2022

3.0

Pros

GitScrum is a great project management tool. It does help you manage teams and project for small and medium sized teams. It offers great features like sprint planning and performance tracking points as well.

Cons

The software is good but not the best! There are places where more work is needed and they offer almost zero support, so okay if you are ready to adopt their deals. You will need to refresh the software page once you edit a task, so that it work comfortably.
