### "Everything just so so, but the customer service is so BAD"

July 30, 2019

3.0

So recently I used scrum to develop software, and I come to GitScrum that proposes some interesting features. My first experience : The UI/UX was not good, compared with Trello. The performance was not so good. You need to wait for some seconds just to update the card. My team job is not updating the card, we are software developer which bunch of tasks. Another issue, my team made a mistake in a project setting, unfortunately, after that we (all) can't open project list page LOL. I tried to contact the customer service, there was no response at all, until now, from email nor chat feature in the landing page. I know it's a new brand, I can understand for some bugs, but you need your customer to get back to you, so please IMPROVE your customer experience!

Pros

The features are nearly meet my requirement.

Cons

\- UX was so bad - Still buggy (for paid software) - CUSTOMER SERVICE never response

### "A great tool for rapid development and Agile methods"

July 23, 2019

4.0

Truthfully, I didn't know what to expect when I hopped on an early adopter deal, but I figured I'd give it a try. What I found was surprisingly great. the workflow is far more in line with how we work. A series of tasks that you launch through a kanban process until they are completed, with nested commenting, built in time tracking down to the task. It's really slick and well worth the investment. I know they are relatively early stage software platform, but they have a shot at becoming a serious player in the PM software space. As of my review in July 2019, I have to only point out one issue I also put in the Cons. The lack of reporting. There is none and it's really necessary. If these guys give me even some simple reporting on a project where it's a time frame, estimated effort and actual effort logged by tasks and rolls up to the project, it would increase the value of Gitscrum for me about 25x. I know other clients would love it too. I hope it's on the product roadmap.

Pros

The customization capabilities by project to include or remove certain steps and processes. You're not confined. I also like the permission sets for the teams. We don't have a huge team, but it makes it easy for the team to know which projects they focus on.

Cons

The lack of templating of repetitive projects, archiving (removing from visibility) of completed tasks within a project and most importantly... the lack of reporting on estimate/actual on the time across an entire project and individual tasks.

### "Do Not Overlook this Beauty"

December 21, 2019

5.0

Love this program, no more Outlook email invites required fur assigning jobs to field staff. Anyone with granted permissions can view the dashboard and know exactly what jobs are scheduled and who will be attending the job.

Pros

Real time activity, whether notifications, chats, or creating tasks. You can create projects and assign users and their permission levels. Chat in real time. It has a timer which you c a n assign to jobs so that the field staff are requested to Starr clock upon commencement of job and also stop the timer when Jon finished. This feature gives office staff and management a better overview of job coatings as they can review how long it took filed staff to compete the job. You can create your own tags for staff to assign to jobs, eg, Stuck, or Job cancelled, customer not home, needs rebook etc. Dashboard is in real-time so everyone assigned to the task can see exactly what is taking place.

Cons

Could not work out how to invoice directly from app.

Reason for choosing GitScrum

Great Dashboard and realtime usage as well as chat groups which Jobber lacked.

### "Nice, It did beyond my expectations"

July 30, 2019

4.0

I found it productive and interesting to use it, more than Trello which was my ex to-go thing. I left it in favor of GitScrum.

Pros

The thing I liked most about GitScrum is the level of freedom it give us to create custom fields and other parameters what need to make most of it.

Cons

I think UI and UX still need to be improved. I often get puzzled and lost in the app.

### "GitScrum is My Go-To Tool for Project Management"

July 23, 2019

4.0

I dove in after seeing what GitScrum offered, and haven't looked back. I keep track of all of my projects with it, and it helps me stay organized, on task, and productive. Plus, looking back at the end of each week on what I spent my time on helps me get organized and prepared for the upcoming week.

Pros

GitScrum combines the best of various project management systems in one, with robust support for kanban boards, to-do lists, time tracking, labels, and more in one system that is easy to use (once you get the hang of it). Additionally, the way it allows you to work with teams is phenomenal for seeing what's being done, when, and by whom.

Cons

There's a minor learning curve that may be trick, especially if you're not well versed in project management approaches, but you can really use GitScrum in any way you see fit and evolve as you go.

### "Developing to greatness"

July 30, 2019

4.0

It’s a great product that I think has a lot of potential. The man behind it always tries to keep the group informed, and while I wish the progress was faster, I am respectful and understanding of the tough job he has and the hard work that has already been put in. Love where it’s going. Just hope it gets there faster and that it is sustainable so we can use this for many years to come.

Pros

It’s constantly developing and it provides great tools for those that need that are comparable to existing software. It’s a one time charge that you can get which is nice to have a premium product.

Cons

It’s developing into a premium product so the charge is high for the current state, but I have high hopes for it when it’s finished. It needs mobile, some key things that competitors have like Trello, and should be easier to set up CName and such (I think) but otherwise a great resource.

Reason for choosing GitScrum

Yes there are many alternatives. I support some of them. But the true test is who do I stay with. Trello still is my go to, but I am looking to make this my absolute daily use once it is improved to a point that I can make it part of my daily workflow.

### "Lots of potential"

July 23, 2019

5.0

It is cost effective compared to competitors, it solved time tracking which is imperative for my company, and i like the kanban / sprint combination.

Pros

This is a hybrid between Asana and Jira - with the promise of being the best of both worlds. Great board management features and we love the checklists, workflow customizations, time-tracking, sprint management.

Cons

There are still a lot of UI bugs, phantom scrolling, export doesn't export everything for backups, I don't believe there is a backup of the projects, the sprint system is too "live" - when switching tasks from a closed sprint, you lose the accuracy of the burn down from the previous sprint. The support button was removed, so I can't send feedback easily. Some fields automatically save, others have a save button. I would like to be able to have the same task shared in different projects (like Asana can do).

Reason for choosing GitScrum

Features, promise of more features, cost.

### "Dont waste your time and money with this product"

May 30, 2023

2.0

Disapointed by customer support which didn't reply to none of my messages. Application feels buggy. API is closed so this product will never have level of integration with other services as its competitors. Would use it from time to time, but after changing policies only to force to upgrade to upper plan, feels like disrespecting customers

Pros

Interesting AI integration and whitelabeling capabilities.

Cons

Non responsive customer support. Application feels slow and buggy. On top of that a plan which was sold for 50 bucks, now has a new policy for 2 months of data history. I am sorry but this product is an absolute disappointment.

Reason for choosing GitScrum

I was trying out its whitelabeling capabilities, AI story generation

Pros

Pretty easy to use and seemed to be the ideal solution but I quickly found it lacking in a number of areas.

### " 🚨 "Gitscrum seems more like a 'GitScam' " 🚨 Warning!"

May 30, 2023

2.0

🚨 Warning! Gitscrum seems more like a "GitScam". I've been a customer since 2020, I purchased a lifetime license and in 2021 I upgraded to support the company's growth, hoping to use the service in the future. This month, Gitscrum announced it will charge almost $30 monthly to keep data, otherwise, they will be deleted after 90 days. Which project management system can function if data gets erased? None. So, those of us who purchased licenses earlier have been defrauded. They've unilaterally changed the conditions, and data retention, essential for this type of service, has become an additional cost. If you also feel defrauded, join this group to explore legal actions, possible claims to payment methods, and to spread awareness of this malpractice. It's unfortunate that such situations occur as they breed distrust in purchasing this kind of licenses, harming other emerging companies.

Pros

The "lifetime" service with data retention was recommendable for its cost-quality ratio and optimal functionalities.

Cons

I cannot recommend this company. They modify the contractual terms unilaterally, demonstrating an unethical and possibly illegal behavior. Such conduct suggests that they could establish new policies in the future, ignoring the initial terms and looking for ways to justify such modifications, to the detriment of the spirit of the original service contract.

### "Promising, But not their yet"

July 29, 2019

3.0

We have been using activecollab for long time and we decided to give Gitscrum a try. We did for around 6 months and it didn't work with us. mainly because of the lack of the timer. as our team found the software timer installed on their computers easier to use and the user interface is way better. I know that it's not a fair comparison given the huge price difference which makes Gitscrum allot cheaper for those whom can't afford better alternatives but I'm sharing this hoping GitScrum become better especially it's very promising as I mentioned earlier.

Pros

\- It's lifetime deal price. - Tons of options available

Cons

\- The interface is very complicated and not user friendly at all. especially the task window. Need more clean user interface urgently. - The lack of timer software that can be installed on employees computers to track and submit the time consumed in each task.

### "Excellent price and scalability; needs some cleanup"

July 23, 2019

4.0

Using GitScrum to plan IT and development of new platforms, tools, bugs, and ToDo's for users. Slowly expanding access to vendors working within our environment to have a cohesive Ops tool across many teams.

Pros

Inexpensive for infinite license, easy to navigate, many integrations to platform, quick to setup, intuitive to use.

Cons

Attempted to contact support however received no response, some functionality missing (such as the ability to remove tickets from user stories), configuration menus can be confusing for granular use, little in the way of community support, account creation can become complicated if an account already exists for another board.

Reason for choosing GitScrum

Unlimited licensing for $300, and lack of overly involved features we don't need in our business model.

### "Gitscrum - The project management tool you cannot pass"

July 23, 2019

4.0

For the price I paid to get into using GitScrum, it was a steal. I wish that more people would adopt GitScrum so that it can grow to it's maximum potential when more features get added to GitScrum. So far, I like what GitScrum has been offering.

Pros

The recent UI/ UX upgrade has drastically improved the navigation and usage of the software Very extensive integrations with other software The work log time feature is very useful to track the time taken to complete a task Many features and buttons but newbies will find themselves adapting to using GitScrum surprisingly quick

Cons

### "Watch out "

August 11, 2019

I now believe the time pressure was artificial and created to induce fomo. They then take advantage of the fact their terms say no refunds even if you find it doesn't work as expected. The only reason the lifetime deal exists is I believe because they know the majority of users wouldn't continue past the first couple of months with the product in its current state

Pros

I liked that I was lucky enough to get in on their one off lifetime deal. Unlimited users unlimited everything and only 3hrs left!

Cons

Here we are six months on and the lifetime deal is still available. The thing is we created one board with ten users and experienced a huge performance drop. The user interface is no where near as customisable as it needs to be. Using the app was slow going and clearly not a good fit so we decided to go to a more established and trusted app. Much to our disappointment, support said we are not able to get a refund and instead of accepting our complaints simply told us that we should have read all the terms and conditions ahead signing up.

I think it is the best solution for startup management so far. Taking into consideration price/value.

Cons

### "A Scrum Project Management Tool"

Pros

The scrum methodology is designed to provide a continue cycle of deliveries to the customers. With GitScrum you can use it as a simple project management tool, or incorporate the GitScrum methodology, with stories, sprints and track time, keep files neatly organised and talk about the project with the project members.
