The apps and web portal give us everything we need to have a customized set up. The only problems we've had have been hardware related, and those were resolved by their support team. Pros The Ooma Business platform is pretty robust and easy to setup and use. We've been able to deploy phones and fax and our clients get a professional experience when they call us. Cons There are a couple of quality of life features missing, i.e. you can text from mobile, but not from desktop. Cons The basic service "pro" service have vastly different features. A mid range upgrade from basic would be a useful for a company that isn't yet a "pro" level. Pros Ooma did let us consolidate phone service among different sites in one easy to manage dashboard. Cons The VOIP phone service was extremely glitchy, leaving clients unable to reach our team to manage their schedules on more than several occasions over the time period in which we used the product. " January 30, 2024 5.0 Ooma is a great solution, and budget friendly. You can emulate most features that other UCaaS providers provide. If you need contact center functionality, this would be their enterprise product depending on what you need to do with it. Multi - Site set ups are also a breeze. Pros We had a property where the phone system has failed completed. Spun up OOMA office with phone numbers and set up Remote Call Forward on the lines coming. Property back in business within 45 minutes which included any tweaks. We ordered phones after we got it all set up. Cons If using the wifi on the phones, it is best to have a network jack that has access to the internet to get started with firmware downloads, etc. We have some challenges getting that part set up and had to get on the phone with support and they were helpful for us. Reason for choosing Ooma Office OOMA office is more simple to set up and use. The outage was fixed in less than an hour so did not impact us much. Very helpful staff and a great price for business looking for a easy to use system with all the features. Cons Locked out of phone settings so if you are looking for changing phone wallpaper there is no option to do this on the phones. Pre-provisioned phones were plug and play. Porting numbers in was painless on Ooma's end. Pros Cost per line is very affordable at $20 per line. Android/iOS soft phone and eFax included in base rate. The only downside is softphone for PC/Mac requires upgraded license. Cons Voicemail transcription is an extra cost, as is PC/Mac softphone, which is a bummer. Otherwise, no complaints. I can also use the phone system when I travel since I am connected to Wi-Fi and have an adapter that I can use to connect my phone so that it works over Wi-Fi. There have been several times when I had to make a change in the system, but have been out of town and they were able to take care of it for me over the phone. They are very accommodating! Pros Ooma customer service is the best! I very rarely have to be put on hold and they are always friendly, patient and very helpful! They give you a feeling of working with a small company; very accommodating! Cons I really don't have any issues. I did have an issue at one point after an upgrade in their system and kept having to call with the same problem and they credited me for the period of time we had the issues. Reason for choosing Ooma Office I did a lot of research and they were rated very high. They were affordable and easy to work with. Pros Very easy to use, mobile app, e-fax, phone # porting, very affordable, can use existing phones. There is a desktop app available although it cost extra. Cons It's not so much about the software, but the quality of VOIP solutions in general are dependent upon the quality and strength of your internet connection. We are connecting using a WiFI adapter since we don't have direct access to the modem. As a result every once in a while the connection isn't so great so the clarity isn't as great as it could be. The other thing I don't like is that the desktop app is extra. Reason for choosing Ooma Office We didn't consider any other VOIP option because I had already been using Ooma at home for 8+ years and knew it was a great solution that was significantly better priced than our existing business solution. December 2, 2021 5.0 Ooma is pretty good and cheaper than having a landline service agreement with a cable or internet company. In the age of tele-working, Ooma has the lead. Pros It is very easy to use and it has saved me money. I also love the application, which allows me to answer my phone wherever I am. I do not have to me stuck at my office to conduct business, since I can call Clients, via the Ooma application, on the go. The virtual assistant feature is a plus.
