It's been a mostly positive experience.

Pros

It is easy to use for me as the teacher and for my students. I can give my students feedback.

Cons

My students press they are complete and the parents see it and think they did something when they didn't complete the actual work.

Reason for choosing Kiddom

It was purchased for us and we were told to use it.

Frustration at the onset, as it takes so many clicks to create assignments.

Pros

I like that students can see the timeline and know what tasks are required.

Cons

Submitting images is a challenge for students. There is an audio option, and a video option on the site, but a camera option for submitting just a photo would be fantastic.

Tracking student work is really hard by a student. You have to look through the whole class. Hard to know if a student turns in work late.

Pros

The amount of resources that are allocated to teachers is amazing. Students are also able to sign in and get started on daily do nows making it convenient at the start of the day.

Cons

A con o found was that there was not a whole lot of resources in Spanish especially for those teachers who primarily teaches English language learners.

As a team posting assignments, it is easy. As an individual teacher, it is difficult. I have a hard time answering their messages, and an even harder time finding assignments students post late.

Pros

It is easy to import what each teacher wants to post.

Cons

YOU CAN NOT LOOK UP ASSIGNMENTS PER CHILD!!!!!!! It takes a long time to go back and find late assignments from students. I had to stop taking late work because it took up too much time. (Hours)

I think it's fairly easy to navigate. I like how I can create a lesson in the Curriculum section and then post it to different classes on the days that I meet with them. That helps with confusion.

Cons

I would like to have timestamps on when students turn in their work. I think it would be helpful to have a feature where students can upload something straight from their OneDrive (I work for a Microsoft District)

I love that Kiddom grades some of the work automatically. I also like how after you grade one student's work, it automatically goes to the next student.

Cons

I don't like that the software deletes the student's work randomly. I don't like that we have had to add some of the curriculum onto Kiddom since it is not already on there.

Acceptable. I don’t know that there is a perfect LMS out there, but Kiddom is an option. Their great strength is customer service!

The user interface is clean and somewhat simple to learn.

Cons

Their are major functionalities missing from the software. The ability to duplicate any sort of content would make a huge improvement. Additionally, a better index of past assignments would be beneficial for grading and accepting late work.

I think Kiddom continues to make improvements, but the growing pains in the meantime were frustrating, as were the overly complicated screens.

Pros

It was single sign on compatible and was able to upload my student rosters

Cons

Using it to communicate with students and that students could mark work as complete without doing it.
