### "So grateful we found Curate!"

February 10, 2026

5.0

Curate continues to grow & evolve with their clients. They are so responsive to feedback, and I've watched so many of my suggestions get rolled out as updates. I am so grateful we found this software!

Pros

Curate has drastically increased my productivity. The ability to create proposals from anywhere has made me a more responsive vendor & has led to a significant increase in bookings. I love adding the "Possibilities" to our proposals now! It allows our proposals to feel more customizable.

Cons

Sometimes, the UI is a bit clunky. It can be frustrating to sort & label photos in the gallery, which leads to me uploading duplicates (and triplicates) of the same photos sometimes. While I found the software fairly easy to navigate, it's been a bit of a learning curve for my boss.

Dove was clunky & allowed almost no room for customization. I also had to be physically in the shop to use it.

### "Long time customer - florist "

February 3, 2026

4.0

I have been with curate for years. There is nothing else out there like it. Creating proposals, sending them, and editing them is a breeze. My clients can for the most part figure out how to move through the proposal and easily sign and pay.

Pros

It allows me to list all my rentals and alerts me if I overbook them. Its easy to add to the proposal and make changes.

Cons

When you print the PDF it doesn't place the clients name on the top of each page so its hard to keep things straight when you are managing several contracts in the week. Adding photos from Pinterest (which is huge for my business) is not as easy as it used to be.

### "The Gathering Event Co, Curate Software Review"

March 10, 2026

5.0

Great support, the team is super helpful. There is a learning curve, as it is a very comprehensive software, but there are some great tutorials and support from the Curate team.

Pros

It simplifies our process by combining multiple software components into one space. From onboarding to signing clients, to proposals and contracts the software does it all. We especially appreciate that we can keep track of inventory and floral pricing when building recipes and design proposals.

Cons

Pricing his high as a Canadian, with the conversion. We do appreciate all of the features and have been able to simply our process into this one system.

### "New software migration is a complete disaster!"

September 12, 2025

1.0

I used to like the original software which was simple and easy to use, but now they have alienated their floral clientele. They are using AI and a chatbot system which is leaving the client in a position where. they are stuck and unable to remedy issues with their flawed launch of the new program. You are basically stuck with all of your events in a system which is not working properly. They are not providing the service we paid for and you can't get any help online. They are leaning on AI to manage their issues. We keep hitting walls and the system is lagging and not producing what they programmed. Nightmare

Pros

Terrible! This used to be a good tool and product with ease of use. They have changed the entire program and forced their entire clientele into a grated system which is not working. The program is full of bugs and the system is not working. You have to jump from screen to screen to complete a simple task that was easier to change in the older system. the program is all over the place, does not allow you to change percentages and pricing easily. This program is a complete and utter nightmare. they launched this migration right in the middle of wedding season putting all of their clients in a bind. They have AI chatbots that do not help and the videos that have for training don't align with validation of the product because the tools are flawed and not working. We can't print anything from the program. No recipes or timelines will print we just get coded messages of symbols at the top of the pages. They told us to update our browsers and then attempted to tell us that it is our printer that is the problem. We tried to print on 3 different laptops different browsers and 2 different printers one of which is less than 8 months old. They have no solutions only excuses and you can't get a human on the phone. This migration and product is a complete disaster! they used to have a good product now we will be going to another company. I will be reaching out to have them pay for not only my lost time, but my salaried employees time. We now have to hand write onto paper all of the information because their system is flawed. This could not have happened at a less opportune time during their main floral clients wedding season.

Cons

This new migration is flawed, not working and full of bugs. Causes more stress and time and takes away man hours just to attempt to fix the problems they never addressed before launching. terrible and non existent customer service

### "Great Software for Wedding Professionals"

March 20, 2026

5.0

Overall I love Curate! The software is easy to use, the people behind the software care about their product, and the proposals/contracts I put out look great. It is a good investment for my business.

Pros

Curate is a great software for wedding professionals to streamline their businesses. I love being able to have a proposal with individual line items and an inspiration board, coupled with a second tab for the contract, all in one place. Every time I update anything and publish it, the new version is available to my clients through the same link, so I don't need to send them extra emails and clog up their inbox. I also love how responsive the team at Curate is anytime there is an issue or a question. Building out recipes and having the system calculate how much product I need to order is also extremely helpful!

Cons

The main thing I can think that I don't love about Curate is the cost. As a wedding professional who doesn't do a lot of events (usually 20 or less per year) the software can be a little pricey. It is still worth it though. I use the florist version of Curate and also have a tough time with the flower component part. It is not up to date and a lot of the items in the pre-loaded catalog do not have pictures associated, so it can be difficult to know sometimes if I'm adding the right colour flower to a recipe.

### "Curate- Overall Worth the Investment"

March 25, 2026

4.0

Pros

Before using Curate, I mainly used Excel spreadsheets to plan flower orders, write recipes, and track costs. It was a long process, but now Curate has provided a much easier solution with these abilities already built out. I've also really appreciated having my inventory like vessels and supplies catalogued to see in one place, with the ability to assign it to recipes as I prep for events. I also receive frequent feedback from planners and couples that my proposals are both professional and aesthetically pleasing and image-heavy. I'm known for being detail oriented in these client documents- this is largely due to using Curate! It has replaced my old manual systems with a streamlined, centralized approach. While I think there are many improvements that could be made to their new version, and many features of the original Curate I was used to after several years of using it day in and day out, they have a good support team and have a robust avenue for feedback for frequent improvements and updates. Overall, I think Curate has been a worthwhile investment for my business.

Cons

I liked the old version of the software rather than the new version they rolled out last year. Many things are less intuitive or clear now, and some functions I really relied on went away. I wish they would've asked their users more about which features we valued before these changes, and I also wish they were quicker to re-implement some of these that have gone away or make less sense now. When I've given feedback or chatted with customer service, they simply say that feature isn't available or that I can submit a suggestion.

### "Fantastic platform for my small business"

February 7, 2026

5.0

I am a caterer and Curate has really helped streamline my business over the last 4 years. It is a fantastic all-in-one platform that handles everything from creating proposals and managing recipes to processing payments. Having all these features in one place has made a significant difference in my daily operations. I’ve been using it for a long time now and it continues to be a reliable, essential tool for my catering business. I definitely recommend Curate for any event vendor business looking to organize their workflow and professionalize their client experience. It has been a fantastic investment for my business growth and efficiency.

Pros

Very complete with lots of features. From proposals, client profiles, recipes and database to payments it saves me hours a day

Cons

A few glitches here and there but nothing major, pretty good overall, customer service has worked well overall fixing any issues

### "Lead Designer"

February 9, 2026

5.0

I've been using Curate since it was called Stemcounter, so close to 12 years, and I can not imagine doing my job without them.

Pros

I can customize all my labor and markup costs for different situations. I have all my flower prices in one place, and I can change them at any time if needed. The value Curate gives me in style alone is priceless; my clients love the look of my proposal and the ease with which they flow. The look of a floral proposal is so important - if the proposal doesn't look good, what is the bouquet going to look like??

Cons

They had a rough go of it when they switched over to their newest version. It was a rough 10 months, but I'm glad I stuck it out with them. They are back on track now.

### "Heartfelt Flowers"

March 18, 2026

4.0

We here at Heartfelt Flowers and Gifts have been using Curate for 3+ years. In the beginning we actually wanted a refund, but working with \[sensitive content hidden\] only one time, she got us up and running. Once we got used to using the system, it works really well and our proposals look very professional. Using this format ensures we have consistent pricing, it helps with making sure all the little details are covered, gives you a complete shopping list for orders and many more items as we have gone along. The initial set up of the catalog took some time, but was so worth it over the years. We are a small shop, so the investment is a little overwhelming, but we do find it worth it in the end.

Pros

Professional appearance of proposal - Pricing and markup is consistent - Every detail of quoting is covered

Cons

Getting the photos of flowers and entering the library. Once it was done, it is so nice to use. It is a very large investment for a small shop.

### "Curate Makes Our Lives Easier"

March 10, 2026

5.0

Overall, we have been a customer of Curate for 5 years. It is getting better with age. The functionality has improved over the years and they have always been very communicative about the learning curve and their willingness to teach the newest updates.

Pros

Curate helps us streamline our workflow here at the Floral Studio. It has ease of use making it so we can all use it. The templates are useful and we are able to upload our own photos so our turnaround time for getting out an event proposal is fast fast fast.

Cons

We would love for Curate to be integrated with some of our wholesalers to give real time pricing. We could pull all of our information from there and just upload it to Curate. That would be amazing.

### ""A Lifeline of Support: My Experience with Curate"

July 22, 2024

5.0

Pros

"Curate has been more than just a software provider for me; they have become a source of constant support and reassurance. The customer experience team, from the initial onboarding process to the ongoing refresher training sessions, has consistently exceeded my expectations. Their approachability and willingness to address any queries or feedback have made me feel truly valued as a client. Unlike some companies, Curate does not remain static in its policies and procedures; they actively seek to adapt and improve to better serve their clients' evolving needs. It's reassuring to know that they prioritize customer satisfaction and are dedicated to growing alongside their clients."

Cons

Generating a mood board before presenting pricing to clients would be incredibly valuable! While there is a limited mood board and color scheme included in the proposals, having the ability to create standalone mood boards before receiving final quantities from clients would greatly facilitate the initial client discussions. The challenges of incorporating recipes and verifying product availability from wholesalers can be cumbersome tasks that delay the proposal creation process, potentially resulting in clients choosing other florists who offer quicker responses.

### "Venue management 12 month review "

June 11, 2022

2.0

Curate software has provided database that is a move from excel and a quote system .

Pros

The system has a nice double layer database that allows for products that are placed into your proposal and the second layer in the database that is the items or recipe can be tied to products . System is well placed for floral industry . Customer service access very high that allows for immediate solutions. This is primarily a quote system based on the database products that does provide above average proposals that are electronic based. The system has an operational back end that provides some limited access to the data.

Cons

Curate is expanding it sales outside the floral industry in which the software itself creates it own limitations. The database which has been in redevelopment for the duration of the purchase has issues due to growth over the years. Slowness and work arounds persist. Database information has limited output as there is no API or zapier access. There is little access to the information from the back end operations and little ability to sort information on how it may be printed or output to vendor or other. There is no ability to create a purchase order in the output of the system nor is the products or items tied to vendors in the database. Printing is limited to browser printing capabilities and there is alignment output constraints between electronic version and PDF with respect to reports and PDF proposals. Be aware that there is no trial period on this software and although they say you can pay month to month, the contract is a one year contract. We have reduced the exposure to the software to marketing and sample proposals only at this time until the database information can be expanded for output for vendor or other software api usage. This is not a product that integrates into others at this time.

### "BEST EVENT FLORAL SOFTWARE ON THE MARKET"

December 20, 2019

5.0

It’s been a wonderful trip. It’s by far the best investment I made in my company. When I first started I spend 4-6 hours trying to figure out how to make a gorgeous proposal. And that was just the proposal. Getting word to work, sizing and moving photos around, fighting with text to be where I wanted it to be. It was the worst. After two proposals I knew something had to change. Little did I know how easy Curate would make the whole process including stem oh tings and placing orders. It’s truly amazing, and the customer service is awesome. I’ve become almost friends with the employees and owner, because they are so easily accessible and active. Over the years I have “played” with other software that friends use, and none have such a straight forward interface, that is almost intuitive to use, or come with the amount of tools and services Curate provides.

Pros

Everything! I love the beautiful proposals it creates effortlessly, I love how easy it is to create recipes, and order flowers with a couple clicks of a button. It does ALL their heavy lifting for you. I can pump out a quick proposal in 15-30 minutes or spend hours on one searching for the perfect photos on Pinterest creating a visual masterpiece, but in the end, what the software does is always fast and easy. I love that they are always updating and adding more amazing features.

Cons

I use it on my iphone 99% of the time, and it works pretty good, there are some features that work better in chrome and I’d love for those features to work well in safari. I’m sure that will be coming soon

Reason for choosing Curate

It’s far superior.

Pros

Curate is all encompassing and has everything you need from start to finish. I use it to create proposals and forms, accept payments and contracts, create recipes, keep track of flower orders, etc. It's great to have everything in one place and have everything organized.

Cons

### "Stem Counter Review"

June 20, 2016

5.0

I have really enjoyed using this software. I started using this initially as a better tester and have seen it develop and grow. They are working out the kinks and I think anyone using it now will really enjoy the experience, especially as new features are added and developed.

Pros

Stem counter has helped me feel more organized in my design process and allows me to keep track with my events and flower orders. When a client has updates or changes I can make them and Stem Counter updates my shopping list and hard goods list at the same time, therefor saving me valuable time and energy. As I become more comfortable in the process I can spit out estimates much quicker based on previous designs and then add more details once someone decides to book. I use it daily and it is a huge and helpful part of how I operate my business.

Cons

Since it is a newer product that is continually being developed there are sometimes a few hiccups that occur. However these are solved really quickly and the team is quick to jump on any problems that arise and give you a temporary fix to your problems in the mean time and then often have the solution in a day or two which is not too bad.

### "One of the most important tools in our repertoire"

February 27, 2023

5.0

With so many events happening week-to-week, Curate helps keep us from over ordering. Our team can all access our proposals from anywhere for reference when speaking with our clients.

Pros

Our team uses Curate every single day to manage our events. It makes our workflow so streamlined and organized. I can't imagine writing proposals any other way.

Cons

I wish it were easier to add and update flowers to our "inventory". Prices and stem counts tend to change so frequently, we have to be sure to double check our orders and prices everytime. Also, the multiple recipe function always has issues when inputing an order.

### "Curate or BUST"

March 14, 2022

5.0

Pros

I LOVE how user friendly this software is, and anything that I haven't been able to figure out on my own the 'chat' option is fantastic. I think the longest i have waited to chat with an actual person was 5 minutes.. MAX. Every single person i have dealt with has been an absolute breeze to work with. (Big shoutout to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] ! She was my first contact with curate and talking with her never felt sales-pitchy or pushy. She had an answer for every question and answered it quickly and confidently.)

Cons

When i drag and drop a photo into a section I wish i could pick up the photo and move it rather than having to hit the left or right arrow. I like to show the florals I'm using and i like having them in color order. As an example, if im doing an event that wants all colors of the rainbow, and I accidentally forget an orange flower that is in the proposal when im already on purple it takes an unnecessary amount of time to rearrange the photos. If it were set up like the 'Inspiration' photo section this software would be even more exemplary than it is!

Reason for choosing Curate

I was making too many errors- not capturing all fields for the total, miscounting for stem counts, overall i was tired of how unprofessional my proposals looked when i know the face of my business had so much more to offer than what my proposals were showing.

### "Professionally Polished!"

December 12, 2018

5.0

I can feel how badly the folks at Curate want their clients to succeed! Any time I have spoken with someone, they have been knowledgeable, kind and not once have I felt like I've asked a stupid question. Their response time is impeccable, they're open to suggestions and actually listen to my needs. I have put off trying a software for many reasons, especially the cost, but I could see after writing my first two proposals that I will never regret the money I am spending. I completely feel like this is elevating my business and going to save me time, while helping me stay organized and conscious of what I need to buy to execute my events, write recipes, etc. I am really pleased with Curate.

Pros

Curate has created a platform that is helping me to be so much more efficient! It does everything I was already doing in six different places, in one location. I can write the proposal, add recipe's, even notes all in the same area. It's greatly reduced the margin for error and I am only getting started! I love the consistency the proposals have established, so that a wedding planner asking for a proposal from me, will know what to expect. I have already had feedback from clients and planners that they are impressed with the presentation of the proposal. I can't wait to see what this has done for me in a year.

Cons

My only Con thus far, and this is merely because I am a creative individual, is that I wish there were some more font options and a few other design tweaks to the proposal aspect of it.

June 7, 2019

5.0

This software has helped streamline my business in several areas including writing proposals and recipes, to ordering. I used to spend hours completing these tasks and Curate has significantly reduced the amount of time I spend on those alone. Time is money, as they say and the time saved through this software is where the biggest value comes into play. Curate is easy to use, has terrific customer support and has simplified my POS process as customers are able to electronically sign the contract and make a payment using their cell phone, iPad or computer. Curate continually seeks to add features that make my job easier.

Pros

I like that everything is integrated to streamline my business processes. Being able to integrate the library of flowers into my proposals through recipe building while simultaneously creating an order list, event breakdown and cost analysis.

Cons

This software is not 100% compatible with my iPad . I work from my iPad often, but there are many glitches that I have encountered that make it impossible to complete my proposals using my iPad.
